Hello, Grandpa, Grandma, I'm Angela

Before long, Angela's crying began to subside. It seemed that the little girl felt calm and comfortable in her father's arms. When she heard the cold words from the old woman who sounded insulting to her mother, and her mother who looked tense, Angela couldn't help but feel scared and finally cried.

"Miss Wati, please get me a glass of water first," said Jia Li when she saw the little girl. Soon Wati came with a glass of water and gave it to Ethan, before finally returning to the back with Tuti, making room for them.

Ethan then helped Angela to drink.

"Is Ela all right?" asked Carolina gently.

Angela nodded.

"Why is Ela crying? Can you tell mama?" Carolina asked, smoothing her daughter's hair that was stuck to her cheek.

Angela was silent for a while, then glanced timidly at Jia Li.

"Grandma is scary. Ela is scared," Angela answered quietly and then buried her face into Ethan's body.
