Shelby is an outcasted 16 year old girl who feels she doesn’t fit in since her family’s move to Hawaii. The only place and finds solitude is at sea when she’s riding the waves. She’s always felt connected to the ocean, and especially more recently as it’s started to whisper to her. One day after a surfing accident, she wakes to find herself in a strange place with even more peculiar residents, vicious creatures and pearl skinned people who are declaring her their savior meant to end a 500 year war their last savior died trying to resolve. She is forced to embark on a dangerous quest to fulfill this role she doesn’t feel belongs to her. On her journey she’ll build trust and bonds that will give her a reason to fight for the world of Palekana.
