After the rain

The graceful night ended with Flynn saying goodnight to Emma in her tent. Morning was very much close by, saying goodbye to a place that created good memories, friends, relationship and fight would be so hard for the student of Freesville high.

Flynn stood at the door of an empty recreational vehicle, grumbling students complained about not being able to get in because of Flynn.

"Nobody shall enter until my beloved chooses a seat" he covered the door with his body, blocking every entrance to it, Levi and Mico both stood as bodyguard even though they refused to do it a couple of times.

Seeing Emma dragging her box through the mud he jumped to save his damsel in distress, he made sure nobody stepped in while he was gone.

Emma didn't know how to feel seeing the people waiting for her to pick a seat for both her and Flynn. "Isn't this too much" she said calmly as she got into the bus.

"They should all know how special you are to me, babe" he kissed her cheeks. "Quickly choose so they don't have to wait too long".

"Let's seat at the back" she rested her head on Flynn's shoulder, Levi opened the door for the others to get in.

"The Last five seats are taken" Flynn announced, another set of grumbling started, some students had to exit the RV since space wasn't enough.

Even though Emma complained to Flynn that he should stop, deep, deep down in her she enjoyed every bit of it, can you blame her she is now the girlfriend to the leader of the Milfs an accronym that is much respected than any teacher in Freesville.

Lisa glared at Emma as she humbly took her seat beside Levi, her eyes did not even leave Emma while she was seated.

Emma let out a light sneeze. "You got a cold, Mico pass me those drugs I bought" Mico opened his duffle bag and brought out paper bag and passed it to Flynn.

"Thanks man..... I knew you were going to get sick, have this and lay on my lap" Emma did as she was told. While she slept quietly Flynn played with her hair, he kissed her forehead from time to time.

The journey back was a quiet one, Flynn held Emma's soft hand and kissed it. "My baby is beautiful" he would brag once in a while.

The tiring sound of a groan filled the air, it wasn't cause of Flynn's incessant behavior but the constant stopping of the bus due to the traffic which was caused by the parade held today.

Two long hours passed by before they all got to the school, many might have felt disappointed about leaving, some felt glad that it was over.

"Emma wake up" Flynn's voice so low and calm. Emma adjusted her body before she woke up cleaning her tired eyes.

"Finally" she said noticing the bus has finally stopped at their last destination. "Was I asleep for too long?"

"Not long, just five hours straight"

"Really?! I must've been super tired then, let's get off the bus" they were the last to leave.

"Are you taking a cab? Or I should take you home myself, your sister can ride along too if she wants". He helped Emma with her bags. "Lisa has been glaring at me while I was kissing you at the bus"

Emma let out a little laugh. "It's seems she isn't in support of us" he continued.

"Well I haven't spoken to her for quite a while now, she must have a lot of questions she wants to ask" she waved happily at Lisa, Lisa ignored her, embarrassing. "She's angry" Emma concluded.

"Will you have time for a date this week?" He asked.

"A whole week!" Emma's eyes opened.

"Not a whole week..... If you want that it could be arranged too, there is nothing I can't do for you" he playfully touch Emma's nose.

"What about school? I can't just skip school"

"There isn't school for this whole week, it's a normal thing"

"Great! Let's spend the whole week together" Emma suggested which caught Flynn off guard.

"Sweet Emma don't you think we are going too fast" he feigned shyness.

Emma playfully pushed him. "You don't have to, if you don't want to" she walked away from him.

He back hug her, "if it's what you want then it will be arranged" he kissed her neck.

"If you too are done Emma has to go home" Lisa informed, "Our car is waiting" she said directly to Emma now, then left.

Emma and Flynn both looked at each other, as if understanding what was said with their eyes they both laughed. Emma kissed him goodbye several times.

They both rode together in silence, the only noise heard was that of the parade which was still ongoing. Lisa must feel uncomfortable, she kept turning and twisting around as if something was bothering her.

Emma knew too well what was wrong with her but never spoke a word. The silence between this two went on until Lisa broke it off.

"Why didn't you tell me you were seeing Flynn? And I bad-mouthed him in front of you"

"Then we weren't dating" Emma replied, not to Lisa's taste.

"But you are now, I told you to stay away from him that he is bad news, what was that you two did yesterday evening, it was like you were a woman in heat!"

"Lisa!" Emma eyes went to the driver who was focused at driving than listen to teens bickering about love.

"Heavens know I wanted to drag you out of there, but I couldn't bear getting my dress ruined because of you" she ran on regardless.

"I don't want you speaking about this if you are going to act uncultured about the situation" Emma turned away from Lisa. "I thought you would've understood" Emma mumbled.

"Seriously? I wanted you to confide in me to tell me things, that was why I tried to get close to you in the first place, since I felt you were farther away from me, why do you think I came to your room to take money from your piggy bank?" Lisa swallowed hard, tears were already forming at the corner of her eyes.

"Lisa..." Emma tried saying.

"Now you listen!" Lisa shunned her. "I never liked being that distant twin who couldn't speak to her sister because she felt she wouldn't understand her, I loved how we are now but if you feel I am being rational about this entire romance situation then I will pull away" she quickly wiped the tears that had now fallen, Lisa was seriously hurt.

It took a while for her to recover since she was crying uncontrollably now, she got off the car immediately she arrived, Emma had to be the one who brought in her luggage back to her but Lisa's room right now was strictly a "NO EMMA ZONE" so she left it at her doorstep.
