All Mia ever wanted was to marry the love of her life but being a princess and life itself isn't always that easy.

However, Monty's father had other plans. Using their marriage in order to abdicate King Julien and bestow Monty with the throne as a way of cleansing the castle of its sins.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty but I can't do that" he firmly replied "I shall not show disrespect in any form or manner in the presence of the King" he added with a formal tone

"You're hopeless Monty" Julien said in defeat as he rested his forehead on his palm in frustration

"I took the oath, Your Majesty and I live by it"

"You're just like your father, Monty" Julien said halfheartedly

"I, at least try to be as great as him, Your Majesty" Monty talked about his father with so much dignity. He was his role model ever since, the man he looked up to the most
