Chapter 3 : What A Day.

" Jade prepare my suitcase and be fast with it " .
" Ok sir " .
Jade left leaving me alone in the room to think .
" Why am I nervous . Is just speech giving " . I encourage myself .
" Where is Rhoda when I need her " . I sighed softly and fall back to bed on my back . Thinking of what I would say in front of the crowd when the smell of roses disrupt my thoughts. Looking up to see who it was . It was just the person I was expecting . Rhoda .
" Good morning " .
Was she glowing or is just her fair skin gleaming . I was not able to answer . She was staring at me with those pearly whites eyes.
" I heard your father , he was talking about you and I think he believes that you ...."
Why did she stop . Her voice is the most beautiful of all , and her teeth the whitest and her lips like pink candy .
" Mister wake up". She gave me a pinch on the face.
It's like she should do it again . But she didn't. What is wrong with me I should be thinking of what to say in front of my staffs.
" Marvin get up ! You will be late " .
Most of her words I don't think I can remember any . I was just admiring her beauty , her voice , she was like the morning all I want to do is....
" Get up ! ! !
" Ok , ok , ok " . I quickly stood up.
" You suppose to be in a hurry and also prepared for what you will say before your staffs or you just be looking at them stammering ....."
Here she go again giving lectures. She took my coat jacket and help me put it on but was still talking . She took the comb and brush and walked towards where I was sitting .
" ..... And look at your hair is a mess ".
I just roll my eye balls in frustration.
This girl friend is giving me headache.
She was combing it , brushing it at the same time . She didn't even care if it hurts or not .
" When you stand before everyone be audible and don't shatter , don't look at your friends , stay calm as possible .... " Now she is giving lessons . Infact am tired of all this .
" It's okay the hair styling is making my head throb" .
" Ok sorry I will just brush it ".
" Don't worry " . I held her hands with the brush.
" I can brush it myself thank you ".
She burst into laughter .
What's taking Jade so long .
I heard a knock on the door.
" Come in "
Jade came in with my suitcase.
" Finally , you are back ".
" Sorry sir " .
" I hope everything is complete " .
" Yes sir " .
" Ok go and prepare the car am on my way " .
Jade left .
" Good bye " . She said showing her set of white teeth .
She headed for the door .
Stretching he hands to reach the door knob I pulled her in for a kiss .
" Bye bye ". I said before letting her go . She just smiled and left .
I took my files and left for the car.

Launching the new product was easy for me but I was nervous in giving speeches . My speech was so short and understandable and I think I did well .
Romeo also invited me for a party .
I was forced to take alcohol for the second time.
" Come on man , enjoy your self " Romeo gave me a punch on my arm .
The drink tasted awful but satisfying . After drinking I couldn't calculate I just slept off.
When I woke up it was already late close to my bed time . I quickly remember my mom . She would be super worried . Then Rhoda she would have called that reminds me I quickly checked my phone and I was right.
She did call but not once but up to twenty times .
Soon she called again.
" Hello " .
" Marvin ". I could hear the excitement in her voice which later fade into scolding Miss worried voice .
" I have been calling you since the past two hours . Where are you ? "
" Am coming " .
"Ok. be fast your mum is worried about you " .
She said and finally hang up.
