Chapter 4 : Oh Really !

Not hesitating , I left the party tired , sleepy and a bit intoxicated .

I drove as slow as I can and to add to my stress the rain fell heavily . Driving a little bit faster will be very good I thought . I needed to be home before midnight So I took a short cut . The road was damaged , dark too but I don't care as long I get home quick .

All of a sudden , a creature that looks like a giant dog jumped into the road .

At that point in time my break failed and I ran over the giant dog . I was a bit happy that I have killed a ferocious beast . I stepped out of my car contemplating with my conscience whether I should go home or see for myself what I had killed . But getting closer I discovered it was no beast or giant dog it was actually a girl.

Can you imagine , my day can't get any worst . My lips curved into a smile . Her dark silk hair was wet and her face was pale , her lips were like purple berries I stood in the rain admiring her beauty in the dark while she lay close to death in the pool of thick dark blood .

I knew she was alive and have every tendency of dying if I waste a minute longer .

I wrapped her in my arms as she was turning cold and blue . I drove back to the hospital with a girl I don't even know with me in the car .

Getting to the hospital I signed in and she was taking to a ward while I wait close by .

Rhoda gave me a call and I assure her everything was fine that she can stay at my place or ask Jade to accompany her to her house. Shortly after I hang up, the doctor came out and told me she was fine but asleep.

Entering into the ward , My eyes stared at the girl on the bed with a cold face and a dark hair that I seemed to like . Looking at her there was something very familiar about her which I honestly don't know . I could see her green and red veins . At least she is fine now . I was given her necessary medications . The doctor told me to leave her in the hospital for treatment but I refused .

I took her in my arms and walked down the passage way . People at the hospital were staring at me with those eyes I don't like . I felt a pricky sensation when I took her in my arms . When I got home, everyone had that questioning look on their faces except Rhoda.

They have all waited for me and only to see me back home with a stranger in my arms . Rhoda helped me a bit . I guess no one else understand me than her . I could tell she angry . She didn't say anything while arranging the room and also left without saying anything.

The room I kept her was in my room and it was dark too but there was no rodent .

Having a lady in the room in my room was not comfortable for me at all . My dad didn't even bother and he didn't even care if I brought a stranger home or not but my mom , she was worried she disturbs me alot asking me questions that I don't even have an answer for.

As for Rhoda , she left the next day and she didn't even call me.

Three days has passed and she was still sleeping in the dark room. I wanted to wake her up but I don't feel is the right thing to do. I was a bit worried what if she wakes up and scream but it's ok if she does because no body can hear her.

Entering into the room it was dark. I could hear her breathing as I walked closer . She was tensed up or was she awake ? Am a bit familiar with the room so I knew where everything was placed.

Walking slowly towards the bed , I traced my fingers down her ear , soon her hair . She was really awake . She didn't even say anything or is she a dumb .

My fingers went further down to her nose and she was breathing unusual and her lips was wet .

I left the room without making a sound.
