Chapter 6 : Light

I was hungry ,tired and thirsty I can't just lie here without eating . I swung my legs down and placed them on the most softest material I have ever felt . This time I must stand on my feet . It took me a while before I stood up . I pulled out whatever was connected to my wrist . I can't die of thirst not today not ever . But I was discouraged , looking from where I stood everywhere was completely dark there was no single speck of light . I was so confuse I can't even imagine I could only feel and see .

I took a step forward and I hit my head on something very hard I loosed my balance and fell on the floor . I was in pain my head was throbbing none stop and I passed out.

I opened my eyes gently but I closed them back again.

The was so bright that I blinked before I could finally open them and kept them wide open staring at the person staring at me.

It wasn't the masked man or Valerie it was someone beautifully handsome that I don't know I was just looking at him . Staring at those hazel eyes.

Should I say something or I should just run away , yes I should run away . But how can I , his masculine broad shoulders was all I could see . His hair was like the moon light and a bit brown , his lips were like strawberries . He was mesmerizing .

" You are awake " .

Yes I am awake can't he see . I need to run away from this place but I need to eat too . All the furniture was white and black .

" Are you hungry ?"

Of course I am hungry and thirsty too.

I just nodded and he stood up and left . The door , it's open . I was about to stand up when he came in with something that smells so delicious .

He kept the food on the table and went to the freezer in the room and brought out a juice and at last Water .

He dropped the chilled items on the table and gesture me to sit.

I stood up as slow as I can walking one step at a time then I felt those icy fingers on the exposed part on my neck and shoulders and he helped me sit .

So he was the one !!!

I sat in front of the table . It was a light meal of toasted jam and egg sauce with salad .

" Enjoy your self " . he sat on the couch opposite me.

I was about to dig in when I noticed my hands where all bandage I looked at him but he was reading a newspaper.

I was just staring at the food not able to eat for up to a minute.

" Why aren't you eating ? "

His voice alone can get you confuse of what to say even if his question was understandable.

" I didn't poison it . "

He stood up and took few steps to the table and had a bite from it . He also had a spoonful of sauce and he drank water .

" It's very tasty you should eat " .

He gave me a fork but I didn't take it . Then he took my hand in his and I guess he realize the reason I haven't touched the meal earlier .

" You didn't even say anything about it ? " He sighed softly .

I allowed him to feed me like a baby but let me regain my strength and run away .

Soon the door cracked open and a very beautiful woman entered . She was like an angel . She wore a beautiful smile on her face . She sat on the couch staring at me . I guess this was his beautiful wife .

When the feeding section was over I sat back on the bed and looked at the both of them .

He told her something I strained my ears to hear but can't . He left the room leaving me with a fallen angel .

She walked towards where I sat with those cute eyes.

" Hi "

I didn't reply at first . She sat close to me

" I think you should change into something new " . I don't want to change I want to run away from this place and why is she so kind to me.

" I know is difficult for you but you really need to adapt to your new environment now " .

She is kinda correct but I don't care am escaping . Alicia will be worried looking for me . I can't just leave her .

" Come on get up " . She said lending me a helping hand . I didn't say anything or made an attempt of getting up I just started at her coldly .

I saw a disappointing look on her face .

" Am very nice we are just helping you . You are our responsibility for now until you get better . We will let you go back to where you come from . Don't worry everything is gonna be fine " .

I looked at her hand before grabbing it and she helped me up .

Staring at the mirror I look a bit different . I was wearing a blue gown and my hair was packed a ponytail .

" Look at you ". She said smiling .

Her smile was so pure and innocent .

" You look beautiful " . She complimented . I just stare at through the mirror .

" Come down stairs with me to see everyone " .

She said taking me by the hand . I stood still and shook my head in disapproval .

" Wait a sec " .

" Can't you talk dear ? She asked .

She bend low to my level and hold the chair I was sitting on and she carefully look into my eyes trying to find an answer to her question and I look into her eyes too trying to tell her you can't see anything .

" Hello dear . Tell me who are you ? "

I felt my eyes flooded with tears but I held it back .

Right now am nobody .

" Please what is your name " .
