Chapter 9 : Am Sorry .

Marvin is already fed up with all of Rhoda's attitude . How could she let her go without his permission . He felt like scolding her the more . She has been quiet looking down at her palm . Her eyes were red and she look very sorry but she shouldn't have done that .

She went to sit on the floor close to the bed . It's somehow different and strange at his behaviour. Why will be furious at his love just over some kind of random low class girl . Soon he notice a drop of tear on her palm . He has been there looking at her for a while now . His expression soften , he felt like slapping himself he didn't mean any of these .

He crotch down to her level reach for her face but stopped half way . She wasn't even looking at him then another tear fell on her hand then she use the back of her palm to wipe her face . He didn't even expect she will cry .

" Rhodamine ". He called softly . He only call her Rhodamine when he wants to apologise or to please her . She didn't answer instead she shook her head and it made him almost laugh but he kept quiet . He lift her face with his hand on her jaw .

She look so cute while crying . He should be doing this every day how ridiculous .

Her lips were wet and her cheeks red . She looked down .

" Am sorry for what I did " .

She raised her head and searched his eyes if was really sorry .

" I super duper really sorry ".

I took her hand and kept it on his face . "You can slap me if that will make you feel better " .

Her face brighten up and she gave him a tight slap .

He touched his face and hissed in delight then he smiled showing his perfect set of teeth .

It made her so angry and she threw a pillow at him .

He stood up laughing at her face .

" Your face is like pumpkin pie ". He said laughing the more .

She threw another pillow at him

" So that's how it's gonna be " .

She threw the last pillow at him then he yelled

" Pillow fight!!!

He used the pillow to hit her as much as he want and she did the same too . She climb up the king size bed to escape but it was of no use . She was laughing and crying at the same time. Marvin was holding two pillows .

" Enough ". Rhoda said trying to catch her breath . She was panting heavily while Marvin was laughing .

" No I want to play with you"

" I am tired " . She could barely hear herself.

He raised his right arm about to hit her when she ran to the other side of the bed and was about to fall .

He held her tightly and fall back to bed .

" Am I forgiven " . He asked expecting Yes .

" No you are not " .

" Really " .

" Yes ".

" Ok if you say so . I just want you to know that I am truly sorry and I love you so much " .

She was a bit affected by the reply he gave and she felt guilty. She kept quiet and soon she heard snores turning around she saw Marvin asleep he was sleeping peacefully and he look funny.

" I forgive you ". She said in a whisper in his ear .

She drew him into her arms and he buried his head in the crook of her neck .

Marvin burst into loud laughter . He had tricked her into fallen asleep and she fell for it . She felt embarrassed .

" It's okay " . Marvin said and embraced her .

She only mumbled some words and soon fell asleep .

' Don't worry runaway I will find you '.

He thought and looked at the sleeping woman on his arms and kissed her forehead . ' I will have to marry you soon ' .

Soon he fell asleep .

It was morning , Marvin gently rest her peacefully on the bed and hurriedly have his bath and arrange for the day .

" You said what !!! ".

Marvin said on the phone .

" Just find her " .

He hang up in anger he turned around on to find Rhoda awake and robing her eyes then she yawned .

" Good morning . What's the rush for ?"

" Morning how are you ?"

" Fine " . She fall back to bed

" How lazy " .

She only giggled and soon it fade away and continue her sleep.

Soon he was done and he went to where she laid and he kissed her cheeks and left for work .

Events of the past came to life . I was so confused after work that day I didn't even bother to get home I just went to a drinking club to forget my worries but it didn't help .

" I am Marvin Francis " . I keep chanting to motivate myself so I won't be scared of the nearest future of who is to come .

I can't believe am involve with her again .

So all this while Valerie was her sister and I planned a business with my worst most deadliest enemy . I was not wise enough and Jennie poor orphan have to surfer too .

" I am Marvin Francis a girl can't scare me "...

Or maybe she can .

This is no ordinary girl she is EVIL herself . Dark and mean .

I have to do something about this I need to see Rhoderic I can't take this alone .

Even after drinking a lot of alcohol I wonder why I didn't get drunk .

I was so tensed up as I hurried to my car .
