Feng Hei Lang silently celebrated when she saw the "Quest Complete" screen. 'YESSS! My first ever quest completion!' She opened her stat window once more.

Feng Hei Lang stared deeply into her stat window, trying to process everything. 'Alright, I got to figure out what to do with the stat points first!'
She thought for a moment. 'I'm a fox. Nice and small. Agility should be my top priority so I can dodge everything!' A smirk formed on her snout. 'Let's put 10 points into agility, 5 points into strength, 5 points into sense, and 5 points into stamina! I don't need vitality for now, since as long as I don't get hit, I won't need defense!'
Feng Hei Lang nodded when she saw her stats now.

'Perfect! Now, onto the Skill Credits!' Feng Hei Lang tapped on the Skill Credit to see what they were used for. Instantly, a large screen popped up in front of her. She fell backwards at the sight. 'Oh. My. GAWD! There's SO MANY!'

Feng Hei Lan eagerly scrolled through the list. 'Hmm...Most of the basic ones are worth 2 Skill Credits. I have 45 credits, so...SHOPPING SPREE!!!!'
She quickly bought a few skills:

Feng Hei Lang spent 43 credits buying all those skills, leaving her with only 2 credits remaining. 'Oopsies...I probably should have saved some.'
Most of her skills were related to hiding and enhancing her senses. She could also see, hear and smell much clearer.
Feng Hei Lang then clicked on the Comprehension Coins. However, nothing happened. She tilted her head. 'Huh? Excuse me system? WORK LIKE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO!'
After spam tapping it a bunch of times, nothing still popped up. She sighed. 'Oh, well. It'll come up when I need it.'
Feng Hei Lang suddenly remembered the egg in her inventory. 'Aiya...I forgot to bring it out to prepare for hatching! It's almost night, but luckily I got the beast cores!'
She quickly dug small, sheltered hole in the ground. It was just the perfect size to fit her and the egg. It also faced the right direction, so that the moonlight could hit it.
Feng Hei Lang wrapped the egg using her body and also summoned the beast cores out of her inventory. Using her new skill, [Appraisal], Feng Hei Lang could tell what grade they were.

When she placed the beast core next to the egg, the egg started shining a dim silver color. It really contrasted to the jet black shell of the egg.
Feng Hei Lang smiled when she felt the warmness from the egg. 'It's beautiful...Its color is just like mine. Black and silver, as if it was made for me...'
She slowly drowsed off to the first sleep in her reincarnated life.

Feng Hei Lang awoke to some chirping birds and a dim ray of sunlight hit her. She stretched out her paws and opened her mouth in a yawn. 'Ah~ Oh, it's already morning? I got to get these egg to the shade!'
| She quickly dug the hole deeper and placed the egg there. Then, she covered the hole up with some leaves and branches. 'There, there little egg. I feel a connection to you, so I'll never get lost away from you.'
Feng Hei Lang arched her back and stretched. 'Ah! The beast cores I hunted yesterday were completely absorbed by the egg! I should probably do some more hunting today! Plus, I haven't had breakfast yet...' Her stomach rumbled at the thought.
She pulled up her stat window. 'It would be a good time to see what the new skills I bought can do too!'
Feng Hei Lang quickly activated [Camouflage] and [Presence Concealment]. With those, it would be difficult for any beast that were same grade or lower to sense her. [Camouflage] hid her physical being, while [Presence Concealment] hid any of her aura or scent.
She quickly started sneaking deeper in the forest, in search of food.
After a few minutes, Feng Hei Lang quickly found a rabbit that was eating a few blades of grass from the floor. She crouched down for a while, making sure that it didn't notice that she was there.
Feng Hei Lang then activated [Dash] which canceled out her stealth ability and put on a spurt of speed. The rabbit turned around to see a pair of fangs flash before its eyes.
She used [Chomp] and gripped on to the rabbit's neck. Blood spurted from where her fangs dug into its skin.
However, Feng Hei Lang didn't finish the rabbit in one blow, like she wanted to. Instead, the rabbit started kicking her with all its might!

Feng Hei Lang didn't let go of the rabbit's next. 'Dammit! What kind of prey fights back?!' A bunch of the rabbit's blood got into her mouth from its skin tearing, and Feng Hei Lang swallowed it to get it out of the way.
