Hatching The Little Egg!
Feng Hei Yang instantly felt a warm feeling spread throughout her body. It made her feel sleepy and a bit tired. 'I hope I get a good ability...but first, I want to take a nap...'
She opened her mouth in a small and cute yawn. 'Mmm...Why am I so sleepy? Is this an effect of awakening a special ability?'
The warm heat in her body was steadily rising. Feng Hei Yang shook out her fur pelt. 'Gosh, it's getting hot...Do you think it'll fry me from the inside?'
She started sweating as the heat continued to rise. The sunlight felt like it was drilling a hole into her skull.

The notifications kept going on and on like this. Every single time it failed, her body temperature would slowly rise.
Feng Hei Yang gritted her teeth in pain and dragged herself to the shade. It felt slightly better when she wasn't under the sun. 'ARGHHH! WHAT IS THIS HEAT?! WHY IS GETTING HOTTER?'
She felt like she was being burned inside out. Feng Hei Yang heard a thousand notifications in her head, but she was in too much pain to read them.
Feng Hei Yang was about to lose consciousness when she saw something that caught her eyes.

Feng Hei Yang fainted before she finished reading the notifications. Sweet, blissful darkness.

Feng Hei Yang awoke to sore muscles. She stretched then immediately whimpered in pain. 'Ouch! That really hurts! My muscles are so sore!'
She yawned once again and checked her notifications. In a few minutes, Feng Hei Yang found the one she was looking for.
[Successful! Your Special Ability is... Shadow Manipulation (SS)!]
She tilted her head. 'Shadow Manipulation? I wonder what the "SS" after it is...' Feng Hei Yang quickly opened up her stat window.

She gasped. 'My wish came true! I got this SUPER DUPER OP ABILITY!!!' Feng Hei Lang quietly danced in a circle. 'YASSSS! It is even better than divine and godly abilities that have an "S" grade!'
She quickly clicked on her newest addition to her stat list.
[Shadow Manipulation (SS):
User has the ability manipulate shadows and darkness in any way they want.]
Feng Hei Lang facepalmed at this explanation. 'Oh COME IN! At least tell me how to use it!' She sighed and held out a paw towards the shadow of the tree. 'Form a sword!'
Slowly, a shape of a sword came out of the shadow then laid on the ground in front of her. Feng Hei Lang could poke it and touch it all she wanted, and it was as light as a feather. However, it was way too big for her! She threw it at a tree in frustration and it sliced cleanly through.
Feng Hei Lang's mouth dropped in disbelief. After cutting down that tree, it didn't stop or slow down. It kept cutting through trees until it lost its momentum from her own lazy throw. 'HUH?!' She quickly ran to the place where the shadow sword dispersed. There wasn't even a trace that it was there except for all the trees that were cut down.
Feng Hei Lang felt a smile form as she realized the potential of this ability. She could literally make anything she wanted to. She closed her eyes and thought, 'Form a barrier around me!' When she opened her eyes, there was a black barrier around her.
Feng Hei Lang grinned. 'It seems like it works even if I close my eyes and don't make any hand motions!' She dispersed her barrier and looked up to the sky. 'Oh! It's already night time! I didn't even notice because of my passive skill [Night Vision]!'
She quickly ran back to the rabbit's corpse that was long dead. Feng Hei Lang still ate it since she didn't have anything to eat the entire day. Then, she fished out the uncommon grade beast core and started sprinting towards where she left the egg.
Feng Hei Lang quickly uncovered the egg and placed it towards the moonlight. With a SWOOP! the beast core was absorbed from her paw once more. The silver aura around the egg started glowing intensely.
She covered her eyes to protect herself. 'Eek! SO BRIGHT! I'm going to become blind if I look at that!' Feng Hei Lang felt the silver light vanish and then she heard a small CRACK!
Feng Hei Lang jumped up and stared at the egg in amazement. 'Oh my GOD! IS IT HATCHING?' Her tail wagged intensely as she watched it crack.
She cheered it on using her [Telepathy]. "C'mon, little eggy! You can do it! Feng Hei Lang, the idol, is watching you!"
The cracking intensified when it heard the sweet and gentle voice of Feng Hei Lang.
A few minutes later, POP! The egg cracked open and she saw a pair of golden eyes. Coaxing it, she waved for it to come out. "Come on, little eggy! I won't hurt you!"
The newborn beast finally got out of its egg and sat in front of Feng Hei Lang. It was a beautiful, small starry dragon with silver wings.
