"Itachi, where's Rei-Rei? Its getting late" Sasuke asked

"I don't know Sasuke maybe she just lost track of time"

"yeah, but she wouldn't be this late" he pointed out "I'm worried, where could she be" Sasuke said

"calm down I'll go look for her, ok" I said getting up, he nods in agreement

There was sudden knock at the door 'who could be awake at this hour?' I thought as I got up, answering the door. There was a blue haired girl, about Kireina's age, maybe just slightly older.

"Hello?!" I said, as I stared at the exhausted young female."-your one of Rei-Rei's friends" I noted she nodded and bluntly said "I need your help!" she had a bit of worry and panic laced in her tone. She then went on explaining, at first I didn't really understand her and was a bit afraid she was gonna faint or worse... have a panic attack with all her hyperventilating and heavy breathing she was doing.

"are you, ok?! Mayb-" I started, she took a sharp breath and said "Maka and Kirei are in trouble, T-they've been captured!"

"What!!!" I exclaimed, my eyes widen in surprised and shocked.

"yeah. we were in the nearby forest and then poof, they disappeared." she vaguely explained

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Maka and Kirie were taken what part don't you get" she bluntly retorted in a loud tone

======KIREINA POV- UNKNOWN???======

"Ahh!" I cried as I got kicked into a tree

"brat, should've just obeyed like a good little girl. This all could've been avoided if you did" the-I suspect leader of the group said, glaring his hate filled glare in my direction.

"N-never...I'll never submit to vile and evil people like you" I huffed getting up, brushing the stray hairs from my face, glaring at them, I suddenly felt cold metal on my neck as I let out a small gasp as warm liquid slowly dripped down my neck

"foolish child" he snared, I imitatively squinted my eyes afraid of the cold metal beside me, waiting for it to be over; Instead, I felt a foot collide with my stomach, kicking me hard enough that I puked up my lunch and....a small puddle of blood, I groaned.

I manged to weave myself out of the corner, regaining my shaky stance, jumping, using my momentum and speed, pushing myself off the side of the tree, flipping overhead then quickly ran over to Mika

suddenly a kuni headed my way grazing past me, I felt a warm liquid dripping down the side of my cheek. I put my hand to it as a ruby red substance stuck to my fingertips "blood." I muttered almost petrified at the sight

shaking off the feeling, I proceeded to untie her "are you alright?" I asked

"I should ask you the same question" She jokingly replied "you look a bit more banged up than me" she pointed out

"no need to be concerned Mika, I'm fine" I reassured with a fake smile. Getting out a sharp blade and started to cut though the thick rope. after a couple of seconds I head a small snap "we need to go, can you stand?" she gave a light nod "ok, let's go" I simply said. I paused and noticed her eyes were slightly different. 'It couldn't be...' Shaking off the feeling, I helped support Mikasa's weight and letting her lean on me. we were quickly cornered my the men who were blocking our exit

"your not going anywhere brat" one of them said he was lean with dark brown hair and golden eyes filled with evil mauls

"you gave us enough trouble" a scruffy looking one said

"I knew we should of sedated the brats. it be less trouble that way"

I glared a challenging look

"so be it" he sneered then in an instant we got hit with a flurry of sharp blades.

"I don't believe the clients won't mind if you were banged up a bit" he said

I wanted to collapse from the pain but that means that these guys win, 'I will not let that happen' I thought with newfound determination, quickly pulling out an explosion tag "where did you get that?!" Mika asked bit surprised

"My brother's weapon. At first I just thought it was a regular kuni, it wasn't." I shrugged nonchalantly as I throw down the kuni sending everyone back from the shock wave. 'Nii-san is totally gonna kill me..if we make it back I mean.'

Mika and I landed a few feet away from the campsite we were at. She was lucky, because I was yeeted into the side of a tree. Call it karma cause the landing hurt like hell. landed on some of my fairly new wounds, making them probably worse, as I let out a little wince in pain "Oowie!"

Maka landed on the nice soft dirt road instead. 'lucky'

Rubbing where some kunai grazed me earlier. After picking myself up I got some gauze out from my weapons pouch, wrapping it around the wounds on my arms. Meeting the brunette's gaze with my own sheepish smile "ok, ok not the best idea but it will buy us some time to get away" I explained waving my hands in front of me, throwing her the bandage roll.

"I guess that makes sense, but how are we gonna get back? I don't recognize this part of the forest" she said as she covers some of her cuts and wounds then throwing it back to me

"me neither" I replied as I got up and dusted myself off

"where are you going" Maka asked, raising an eyebrow

I pointed up to a tree as I jumped on a branch "we could climb and get a better vantage point" I simply said

"How can you be so calm-" she retorted

"oh no, I'm not in the slightest, I'm terrified" I admit with a huff "but if we keep freaking out that won't get us home. We need to try and keep a level head cause panicking won't get us nowhere" Mika nodded

"if we start moving then we have a better chance of evading those goons"

I nodded "yeah"
