"I think I see it" Kireina exclaimed from a higher branch

"That's good! Maka yelled back uh, Which way!"

"Uhm, That way?!" Kirie pointed in a northeastern direction

"hm," she nods. "Let's get going"

Kireina nodded "yeah, let's go before they could find us" but irony had to hit the two when Suddenly a flurry of projectile came there way...

UCHIHA COMPOUND

"What's with all the comotion, is everything alright?!" Mikoto said, turning the conner.

"wait your an anbu captain right. have a search team deployed or any thing!" Tamaki said to no one in particular, still a bit panicked.

"can you explain, from the start this time." Itachi calmly said to the girl

"r-right.." she muttered taking a sharp breathe and started explain the situation

"-How did they find us so fast" Maka questioned out loud trying to stand up

"I don't know but we need to lose them" Kireina rhetorically answered, narrowly dodging a sneak attack

"how, exactly?!" she yelled back "hey, do you have anymore of those special kuni with ya?"

She shakes her head 'no' "that was my fist and only one I had" Kireina replied, dodging another attack

Maka let out a small hum "any other ideas?!" the she asked dodging a pair of hands

"Run?! I don't know!" Kireina suggested

"that's not an idea" the brunette retorted\yelled

"well its someth-" she stoped when she felt a sharp breeze fly by, cutting of a few inches of hair and making more blood drip down her cheek

"Ki-Ki" Mika cried

"don't worry, we have bigger problems" she muttered, throwing a kuni at the assailants

"too slow" The brown haired one taunted catching it between their fingers, throwing it back at her grazing her shoulder, she raises her hand to where it hit her, clenching her shoulder, letting out a low moan in pain

"what do we do now?" Mika asked, her tone raising, a bit panicked "they have us cornered and we won't last much longer if we keep going like this we need to something and something fast" she said to Kireina who's fist were shaking and eyes glaring an unwavering determination "I say we run as fast and just hope someone will hear our pleas"

"W-what I will not give up, I know this is a battle we can't win but I refuse to let somebody like them win" she declared, she could feel adrenaline coarse through her veins "we are Uchiha, we never back down"

Mika gives a light nod "I'm right behind you all the way, lets do it"

"yeah"

"wait weren't there three of them where's the other one" Mika said making Kireina gasp in realization as the two glance around

======ITACHI POV=======

After listening to the girl's explanation otousan decided to put together a search party to go find for Ki-Ki and her friend

the girl, Tamaki, was sitting in the living room drinking some tea that oka-san brought out for her to sooth her wary nerves with Sasuke beside her and comforting her. The two also seemed as worried as her but tried to stay strong, especially okaasan. her tears brimming her eyes but held them from falling in front of the two kids.

we stopped in the clearing where her friend said they last were.

"search the area" my father commanded the group

"sir we found this nearby, and picked up several chakra signature from the same area" one of the clansmen informed handing a kuni to my father

we ran in that direction to only see a large crater in the middle of the clearing "hn, someone was definitely here" I noted to myself

suddenly we herd a loud cry come a few miles away. We followed the direction where the cry emitted from soon we found an empty campsite, it smelt like burnt ink, like an explosion tag went off. 'so she mange to get into my weapons, hn.'

"Itachi, over here" I herd shishui call. I notice some rope laying on the ground with a small puddle of blood on the ground, I bent down and touched the slimy substance "its still fairly fresh" I commented

"maybe Kireina-chan escaped" he pointed out, suddenly we heard a loud yelp scream not to far from the campsite

REIKA'S POV

"Mika look o-" I cried as she was grabbed from behind.

I then felt someone kick me to the ground "you troublesome brats need to be taught a lesson" he growled, kicking me, sending me flying into a tree.

I tried to stand but the pain was catching up to me fast as I tried to stand just to quickly stumble back down "y-you cowered" Kireina groaned, then sent a powerful kick sending me through a tree or two, I grit my teeth pushing through the pain and dragging myself up through the forest as fast as I could with little energy left; hopeful find someone that would hear our cries for help.

3RD POV

Shisui, Itachi and the police force followed the trail to some damaged trees and some that had some weapons logged into them "we have to be close" Shishui said breaking the empty silence that filled the air

"yeah, we're close" Itachi simply said

"yeah I could sense several chakra signatures up ahead" Shishui commented, he turned to his friend reassuring him "don't worry well get her back"

the group arrived in a clearing with several weapons lodged into trees, ones that were cracked and broken, few small craters and a couple of pools of blood on the ground

"let me go! aahhh!" they heard a high pitched voice cried out the group follow the cry spotting a lean built shadow grip onto the neck of a smaller female, she wasn't taking it and bit his arm making him flinch and release her

"you insolent child!" he yelled with an annoyed scowl

she let out a small yelp of pain as she landed eventually fainting from pain and exhausting, barley conscious. the scruffy haired teen caught her before she fully hit the ground

they then herd a low grunt and some rustling leaves finding the small bruised and battered ravenette trudging into view, dragging herself through the bushes, supporting herself with a nearby tree and pulling out a small object from her neck, throwing it on the ground. Then turning her head in their direction, her eyes widen for a second grinning weakly "I-i-itachi" she muttered as her little legs gave she, and fainting from her exhaustion mixed with the sedative drug.

"we should get them to the hospital they don't look too good" Shishui commented

"yeah. I agree" I simply said

the shorter haired Uchiha's eyes widen noticing that her eyes were slightly different from the normal obsidian color

the older Uchiha quickly caught her in his arms, rage and anger built up inside of him to whoever did this to his imōto. He's suppose to protect her, be there when she needed help but he failed her as a protector and as a big brother he promised to keep her safe and seeing her in this state he can't help but feel a sense of guilt brewing inside of him. All these thoughts going through hes mind, cursing himself, blaming himself.

Shishui gently laid the unconscious brunette down and then flickered to the guy who tried to choke her half to death and immediately slit his throat, killing him Immediately.

They then heard another rustle from the bushes , they threw a kuni at the assailant. landing inches from their head, coaxing him out of the shadows.

He stepped out of the shadows he was a bit scratched up with a black eye and looked very irritated

an eerie grin plastered on his face as he let out a bit of a Maniacal and crazed laugh before he dropped to the ground

they turned around and saw the blazing red eyes of Fugaku

"get the two to the hospital" he ordered before engaging combat with them

"hai!"

REIKA POV

I woke up, my eyes fluttered open to a brightly lit place 'A-am I in heaven? great I'm dead, great I had to just die' I thought to myself 'just great now I'm dead. oh terrible cruel world, why!' I mentally shouted/cried hysterically

suddenly the door burst open, I shifted so I was sitting up on my bed seeing who it was. A panting Mikasa stood there with a relived smile as both of us let out a breath of refiled breathe

"I'm glad your ok Kirie-chan, what happened?" she said with the same raspy voice like mine, dark, fresh bruises covering her neck. I gasped, cringing a bit at the sight. I wounder if I got the same marks like that on my own body. But most of all, she had those same eyes the ones I saw last night; it was them, the sharingan.

I had the same thought 'what exactly happened last night' I grasp my head as a massive surge of pain spiked what happened?! Could it be possible that I may have gotten a small concussion from last night

"The sharingan, you got the sharingan" I uttered in awe and confusion

"look at yourself" she retorted back

"Wha-what do you mean?" I question

The door opened again and a nurse came in. "What are you doing out of bed you should be resting young lady!" the nurse scolded Mikasa as she started to drag Mika back to her own room

'Why must her voice be so screechy' I covered my ears trying to prevent a massive headache

"Kierina-chan!" a voice called out, 'Sasuke' I looked over and saw him walking in with Aniki, kaa-san and to-san 'I'm dead' I deadpanned with a small bead of sweat.

"hey Sasuke-nii" I said softly

"Are you okay? where were you? Aniki and I was super worried" he said super fast

"Gomen Sasu-nii"

"What were you thinking-"

"please, save it I don't want to hear you lecture right now papa" I retorted back, putting my arm on my forehead and plopped down on my bed. My father was irritated for sure at my disrespect but stayed quiet with his arms crossed and that same cold stare on his face "Gomen'nasai. I didn't mean to worry you" I muttered, my eyes glancing down in shame

"Are you feeling better Imotō, you were in pretty bad shape when we found you" Aniki asked I gave a slight nod aye, just bit tired that's all I softly said

"That makes sense, since the Sharingan been draining your chakra" Oto-san said pointedly

'So...it wan't just Mika' I thought

"it must of awoken in the mist of battle" he added

"I'm just happy my baby girl is okay" Ka-san cried

"Gomen, I didn't mean to worry you ka-san" I muttered

"Gomen'nasai, I didn't mean to cause any distress.....it..was...unexpected. I wasn't strong enough" I grip the white sheets covering me

"Its fine but you do know you're still in trouble" oto-san said firmly

"aye...Otou-san" I chirped bit deflated

"Don't beat yourself up it wasn't your fault" Oniisan said reassuringly

"-but I couldn't keep Mikasa safe" i mummer remembering faintly what happened last night

"you're still young there's nothing you could do, and the fact still stands that your safe and that's all that matters. It is I who should apologize, I wasn't there when you needed it."

"no, your the bestest brother ever, you don't need to apologize" I replied, softly smiling letting out a light yawn

"why do I feel so drained" I mutter to mostly myself

"its because the sharingan" Itachi-nii simply said, I hummed "just get some rest okay"

"aye!" I chirped with a closed eye smile
