"Dream? What dream are you talking about?" The human asks the fairy as she puts her bag on top of her light purple bed. Tryamon looks at her like she grew two heads "the pendant!".
"What pendant?" Aster asks as she looks around looking confused "the one you dreamed about" the fairy responded monotonously." Oh, yes but didn't I just tell you?" She squints her eyes. "Tell me more about it," the fairy asks nonchalantly "or just tell me your plans" she continues.
"Oh, yes the dream I got," she says while nodding her head "I am planning to go to the city and get the pendant". The fairy looks at her while squinting her eyes "do you know what the pendant does?" Aster frowned and shook her head a no.
"Do you know?" She asks back the fairy just looks at her blankly before letting out a small no. The room turns quiet as the fairy and the human tries to figure out what it does. A loud grumble interrupts the quiet moment they once had both of them look at each other before Aster stood up. "I am going downstairs to get some food" and she walks out of the door of her bedroom leaving the fairy sitting there quietly.
While the human is downstairs, Tryamon takes this chance to fly around the room. Looking at her Harry potter posters, the bookshelf that contains Harry potter novels, books about animals even mangas. But the fairy does not know what they are, and decides that she will ask the human to tell her about the books on the shelf. As well as the posters of course.
And that is what she did after Aster had gone back up to her bedroom. Now, they're talking about the differences between the human world and the mystical world.
"Now to think about it, I was given a task from the fairy queen" her words made the other look at her interested. "A task?" The little fairy nod "the task was to find a pendant. And to think about it now, the way she described it was the same as how you had described the pendant in your dream". A pure shock could be seen on Aster's face but then, an imaginary light bulb appeared on the girl's head. "Then, that means my dream meant something!" She says joyfully "but what could the pendant do?" The smile that was once there is now gone. "Well, I guess that is what we will find out when we get the pendant," the fairy says.
"All, right! Let's go!" As she stood up but a voice stopped her from doing anything "Sweetpea? Are you home?" A sweet faint voice calls out to her. She quickly opens the door and runs downstairs "Nana? Why are you home so early?" She giggles "do you not want me to be home?" Her nana's statement caught her in shock.
She gasps "no, no, that is not what I was trying to say!" At this point, she looks like a deer that got caught in the headlights. Her nana just chuckles with a small smile on her face "I know, don't worry I was just teasing you, honey" while looking at Aster fondly. She just looks at her nana with a big smile on her face. While examining her face she realises that her nana now is very old her wrinkles are obvious and lots of white hair, although, her nana is old she stills look beautiful on the younger's eyes.
"Nana, you're dressed up" she looks at her nana up and down a long-sleeved pink dress and a pair of red heels, a pink a bright pink fedora hat with her square-shaped rainbow granny bag. "Well, of course, I always dress up when I go to my friend's house," she says then proceeds to booping her granddaughter's nose. With a chuckle, she says "you look beautiful" with her eyes full of adoration for the said person. "I am glad you like my style sweety" then walking to the kitchen and putting her rainbow granny bag on the kitchen counter.
"Oh, nana?" Her nana looks at her "I want you to be honest with me" confusion shows on her nana's face "what is it, sweety?". Aster bit her lips so hard, she could taste a metallic flavour in her mouth " you were meeting someone else, weren't you?". The bright and comforting atmosphere that was once there, had been replaced by an awkward one. "What do you mean sweety?" Her nana chuckles awkwardly as her granddaughter's question has caught her off guard. "You smell like a cologne….. A man cologne" the said person looks like they were again had been caught off guard.
"Now, tell me why do you smell like a young man's cologne?" Her nana looks at her apologetically "I'm doing this for you, honey". Aster frowns " who is the man you had been meeting with?" Desperately needing an answer from her nana. "Your future husband" her nana answered firmly now, how the table had been turned around the ones who had been caught off guard is Aster. Her eyebrows are furrowed "a husband? Nana, I'm too young" shaking her head, her nana says "you're not too young, Aster you're already 20". The said girl scoffs at her nana's statement " nana, that is too young to get married!" Again, her nana shook her head "honey, you are already legal and also, you will be marrying when you're 22, so you still have time".
"Nana I don't even know who this guy is! Also, the guy probably doesn't even like it as he had never even seen me before!" She says desperately. Oddly, her nana smiled "then, you can meet him and I already showed him your picture no need to worry" her desperate expression had been replaced with anger. "Nana! No! I refuse!" Says Aster angrily "young lady, you can't talk to me like that!" Her nana says firmly. "You will be meeting him tomorrow! As you have your schedule free tomorrow" Aster just looks at her nana in disbelief.
Without saying anything, she stomps her way back to her room and closes the door harshly making a loud noise. She jumps onto her bed landing face forward not even noticing the elephant in the room.
