Chapter 15.

The following morning I heard knocking at my door. Making it downstairs I opened the door to see this big ass furniture truck parked in front of my house. I was confused as I looked at three guys looking at me in my silk robe. "May I help y'all?" I asked. "Are you Rein Larson?" Some guy asked. "I am." I said still confused. "Well we were instructed to move this furniture to this location. From a Mr.Wade." The man said. I don't even know who the hell that is. I must be looking super stupid as he stand there holding paperwork. "You may know him as Gino." He said looking at me. Oh my god are you serious I thought. Going upstairs I grabbed my phone. Dialing Gino he answers immediately. "Gino!" I yell into the phone. "Uh who is this?" He asked stupidly. "It's me Rein. Do you care to explain why I have some furniture people at my front door?" I asked super frustrated. "Oh snap I meant to tell you before I left. That's my housewarming gift to you. New furniture I hope you don't mind." He said. I'm thinking what in the entire hell this nigga was going all out the way for me. "Wow I don't even know what to say." I said in awe as the man at the door watch me. "You can start with a thank you." Gino said laughing. Rolling my eyes I signaled for the men to proceed with the delivery. "You really shouldn't have Gino. This seems too expensive. I don't know how I can repay you for all of this." I said going upstairs to be out the way. "I have an idea. How about a date?" He asked. I took a deep breath and thought long and hard about it. "You know what you think you slick but, sure just this one time." I said hanging up. Gino knew he could of told me before leaving my house he had this planned. Not he out smarted me I thought as I smiled to myself. Calling Cher I wanted to know if she had any idea. "Hello." She answered. "Girl did you know Gino gifted me new furniture for like everything?" I asked. "Wait he did what now?" She asked. "Girl your ass heard me." I said. "Oh wow no baby girl I didn't I'm shocked. That man must really likes him some you. Wow that's dope did you talk to him yet?" She asked. "Yes I had to call his ass and ask him why he do all that." I said. "Girl you thank the man at least?" She asked laughing. "Yeah and now he wants to take me on a date." I said biting my nails. "Okay Rein you should totally go." She said. I rolled my eyes. "You don't think it's weird he hitting on a pregnant woman?" I asked concerned. "It ain't like he don't know Rein. Obviously the man still interested in you regardless. Just try Rein please. We all know you love Carmelo but it's time you love again friend." She said as I paced. She was right I had to admit it's been months and I've been lonely as hell and super bored by myself. It was depressing and I really didn't have shit to lose anyways. "So call that man back and tell him you'll take him up on that offer. He's a nice dude and obviously he wants you." Cher said. Sighing I figured whatever just this one time. Calling him back I told him I was down for that pay back and he was extremely happy to hear that. I could hear his smile through the phone. Once my home was fully furnished with new furniture I was very much pleased. What can I say Gino had an expensive and exquisite taste. I was just curious and needed to see where his head was at. It was weird how I interested him with my belly poked all out. I don't know him and he don't know me. so what all do this man know? I was sure to find out. Standing in my stand up mirror I admired myself, as I wore this red dress with a black fur around my shoulders, with my black red bottoms. My hair was freshly pressed and hung by my shoulders. My makeup , eyebrows, and eyelashes were on fleek. The red lipstick completed my look perfectly. Spraying on Chanel perfume I was ready to go. Making it outside Gino sent a car for me. The driver drove me uptown to this fancy ass restaurant. Helping me out by grabbing my hand I thanked the driver. Going inside I looked around as some waiter approached me. "Ms.Larson?" He asked as I shook my head yes. "Right this way ma'am." He said escorting me to the table where Gino sat. Gino looked up at me with a sparkle in his eyes. Holding a rose in his hand he stood up. Giving it to me he pulled out my seat as I sat down. Pushing my chair close to the table he was gentle. Once he sat back down he looked at me. "You are so beautiful." He said. Looking at him I had to admit he too was handsome. He wore this black nice tailored suit. His hair was cut in a low fade with waves. His dark complexion was smooth and flawless and this nigga had the pretty set of white teeth. Damn I didn't notice I was staring. "You got something you want to say?" He asked laughing noticing me looking at him for way too long. "You look nice yourself." I said. "Well thank you. Anything you want feel free to order." He said looking at me licking his lips. Moments later we ordered our food. I had steak , potatoes, and, asparagus with a salad on the side. He ordered red wine saying he knew I could have it and tonight was a special occasion.
