Chapter 16.

I had enjoyed my date no doubt about it. Gino wasn't so bad and he didn't give me creep vibes. He treated me like a total queen. All that excitement was short lived as I sat at my desk super annoyed. Cher was all up in my business and Craig ass was on a hundred yelling at everybody. No lie I was about to quit the moment he yell at me it's over for his ass. I was sitting there doing my job and texting Gino at the same time. I was still kind of curious to know why he found interest in me knowing I'm carrying a whole ass baby inside of me. I thought it was super weird because who does that in real life? He have to care or know something I didn't. During break Cher was on my ass trying to get every little detail. She was bugging but I couldn't help but to smile as I thought about it though. "Girl you going to tell me or what?" She asked all up in my grill. "Girl damn calm down." I said laughing. She laughed back. "See no I think you had the time of your life. You wasn't expecting that now were you?" She asked. "It was really okay damn Cher chill." I said. "Bitch you up here blushing oh shit. No I need details like now!" She said. So I told her how my night went and we were both excited. I had to tell her I felt weird though. She assured me that everything was okay. That Gino was super understanding of my situation and I had to think. Did she tell him my business or what? We had to talk like on the real tip. Off break we went back to work and I was ready to go. Once I got off I told Gino to meet me somewhere. Which he suggested his house for what reason I do not know. Making it to his house it was big as fuck. Damn this man live in a mini mansion. What did everybody know that I didn't seriously. Who the fuck am I dealing with right now? I thought sitting in front of a gate. Buzzing the buzzer I waited. Then the gates were being opened. Just when I thought my crib was the shit I had to think again. Parking I got out and rung the doorbell. A butler greeted me as I stood in his foyer as Gino came and greeted me with open arms. I know damn well his ass ain't trying to show off. Grabbing my hand he walked us through the house and into the kitchen. This nigga had maids and chef's. Not gone lie they had the kitchen smelling nice as hell. "You hungry?" He asked as I sat down. "Sure." I said. His butler then comes over with a big plate of food. "You can eat first then we'll talk. I got to wrap up this meeting I'll be quick." Gino said kissing my forehead and walking out. Eating my food it was the bomb. They put their heart and soul in it for real. Finally done I saw Gino coming back to me. He grabbed me up and walked me to this room. Sitting down I looked at him as he closed the door. "You wanted to talk to me about something." He asked looking at me. I sat there in this office room staring at him. "Look I think your super sweet don't get me wrong but, I have to ask. Why are you so interested in me? You know being I'm pregnant and all." I said pointing out the obvious. "Wow I knew this was coming. So about that. I didn't know at first glance. Until I start asking questions about you. You peeked my interest something that rarely happens. Your a mystery that I want to solve. To answer your question though Malcolm told me. He didn't do it out of malice he just wanted me to know before I made my move. I was shocked I couldn't even tell. So where's the father? I never see you with a man at all. All I see is a beautiful pregnant lonely woman." He said. I cleared my throat. "He passed away months ago." I said. Being strong he looked at me surprised. "Wow I didn't know that. So sorry to hear that. Sorry for your loss." He says sincerely. A tear ran down my face as he stood from his desk and walks over to me. He kneels down and holds me. "It's okay Rein. Your such a strong and independent person. I commend you for your bravery. I know it's tough I want to be here for you. I like you. I don't want to move to fast. It's just I can't help but to be attracted to you. It's like your soul is calling me to heal it. I promise if you give me a chance you'll find peace again. Happiness again I don't want to replace your old lover but I ask that you at least give love another shot." Gino said. He grabbed me up into his arms as he held me. Pulling back he wiped my tears from my face. "Promise to take it all the way slow." Gino said looking me in my eyes. I felt something inside a burning desire. A spark I've never felt before. "Please say something." He said smiling at me. "Let's agree to take it slow." I said with a half smile looking up at him in his memorizing eyes. He continued to wipe my face as he looked down at me in my eyes. Holding my chin he licked his lips and then kissed mines. For some reason I couldn't resist. Gino kissed me slow and passionately. Sucking on my tongue slowly that shït was doing something to me. Then he pulled back from me. "I'm so sorry." He said apologizing. Only I shut him up by kissing him again.
