Flashback

His back hit the wall as he slithered down to the bathroom floor. His left hand was on his head as his mind showed him flashes of the father he knew before the evening events. A father who was there for the important stuff,he was there when it mattered,birthdays,graduations, soccer games even down to PTA meetings. How did he have the time to lie so amazingly well to two families? He thought about how stupid he was for believing that his father was forced into hiding him all his life when in reality he chose to do so. His mind went to his mom,his amazingly strong mother who still obviously habored feelings for a happily married man,if she only knew he thought. His phone rang again bringing him back to reality, he checked to see that he had missed 10 calls from his father and 10 from his mom. He was about to call his mother when a notification that caught his attention popped up. *The secret illegitimate son of the Abayomi family* Of course it's all over the news the media will have a field day with this,he thought. He scrolled through popular news site *Shocking! He couldn't believe he managed to drag Ese into this mess. Her privacy would be non existent.She would hate being interviewed and followed around because of this.Her father would make it worse,she doesn't deserve to be dragged into this mess. The media won't take it easy on her. She would tell him everything was fine but she won't really think it is. What kind of relationship would she have with an illegitimate son. She deserves better. "If you really love them you have to let them go" he wishpered *************** Ese hanged up and switched her phone off and he went back to lying on her laps. He stared at the celling,trying to convince himself that what he was about to do was for the best. The thought of her going through pain because of what he was about to do sickened him. But he thought. The calls are already rolling in,she already had to turn off her what's next?. Not focusing on studies because the crap. Her having to lie to his face everyday that everything was fine? She would eventually hate him. Her life won't ever be the same if he doesn't do something. You have to do this he said to himself. You have to do this because you love her. She's better off without you. She'll forget about you soon enough. What she said next lead him to enact his plan "You didn't think I was sexually attracted to you? "Well you hated my guts from the beginning,and it was werid cause girls are usually sexual attracted to me at first" He replied

"Okayyy" She replied lost for words "Yea,at least I know now that the woman I love didn't just say yes to me because I am an Abayomi" He said. He couldn't believe he just said that. He looked at her and saw the confusion in her eyes. Please make this easy for me Ese he pleaded inwardly. She looked into his eyes and said "I love you.What I feel for you is way more than sexual attraction and definitely not because you are àn Abayomi" His heart started racing,all he could hear was I love you. She finally said she loves me and this is what I'm going to do?,he thought. I can't do this,I don't think I can do this. His mind was hyperactive. Should I tell her I love her too or go on with this crap of a show,he thought. He chose and it wasn't an easy choice. He stood up from her laps and said "Don't you get it?, I'm no longer an Abayomi, you don't have to pretend anymore, you can leave me the fuck alone" Please God don't let me regret this,his head was screaming. "Are you high?, what did you take?,what the hell are you spilling?" She shouted "I.Don't.want.you.here!!" He screamed in reply Tears fell from her eyes. He was already struggling but when he saw the tears drop from her eyes,it took all his will power not to grab her and tell her everything was just a show. "Please don't drive me away, let me be here for you" God please help me he kept chanting in his head. "You don't love me Ese,what you feel isn't love,my own father doesn't love me,how can you?" He managed to let out "I have nothing Ese.Nothing.How can you love me?,how can someone as amazing as you love me?" He said actually believing what he said to have some truth. She moved towards him but he managed to withdraw before she could reach him. "Because you are amazing Seyi,everything about you made me fall in love with you." He tried to zone out her words as he continued "My father has been lying to me for as long as I have been alive,how do you expect me to believe what you just said" "Just let me be here with you,you'll feel it.I'm begging you.Please" Ese please just leave he wanted to say but instead shouted "Leave!" "I'm not leaving.I know you are saying all these to drive me away.I won't let it happen" "I won't leave you alone" He felt what she said so deeply,he knew that if he let this continue he'll give up,he needed this to end as soon as now. "I cheated on you" He said looking at her straight in the eye while wanting to just drop dead after seeing the pain in her eyes. "I...don..t believe you" she said in a Shaky voice "I slept with someone that wasn't you" he continued. Please make her leave already he prayed.I can't take this anymore. "Stop.Please stop" she said taking a step back "I couldn't tell you but now....You should know.I'm a player remember? Or did you already forget?" He wondered why she was still there. "I do not believe you" she said in response He wanted to grab and kiss the hell out of her. He was so happy she knew he wasn't capable of hurting her in that way. But yet he went on with his resolve wavering. "You are pathetic,you want to stay with the guy that cheated on you,why!?" She looked right at him like she was in a trance before she screamed"Cause I love you!" Tears continued to fall from her eyes. He looked away.

He wanted her to stop crying,he couldn't take it anymore. She loves me he thought, he knew if she said she loves him one more time he won't be able to push her away. He thought of how much worse things will be if he let her stay by his side, so he decided he would finish his crap of a show. No matter what. "I'll do it again.Remember.A leopard never changes it's spots" "Can you handle that?,being cheated on over and over again" She wiped her tears, picked up her phone from the bed and said "whether or not you are lying,I don't fucking care You have gone too far" "I'm done.you've succeed.you are officially alone" she said as she slammed the door not looking back. Present Time Seyi's pov I swear I just heard my heart break. I thought I was in pain before but that was nothing compared to how i feel now. Nothing can compare. Fuck I have never felt this way before. She's really gone. She's never coming back. I want to crawl and beg her not to leave me but I'm still here staring at a door like a deranged person,why? Cause I want to do the right thing. I want to do the damn right thing for once in my life. But why does it seem so wrong? Ray barged into my room, he looked so angry. "What did you do" he shouted But when he looked at my pitiful state that changed. "You are so stupid" he said It changed to pity. Thinking about what I just did. I agree with him.
