We all turned to see my brother who looked nothing less than furious. Seyi being Seyi didn't look affected by the obvious dangerous situation,I couldn't deduced the looks of the others that followed Seyi out because I was yanked by my brother and placed behind him where I couldn't see anything but his back which was moving like it was about to explode. "I don't want you anywhere near my sister.Ever.Do you understand me." Mudia said I moved to a position where I could see Seyi. "I don't understand what's going on but whatever it is doesn't warrant treating your sister like that" Seyi said looking pissed This is bad . This is freaking bad .I was hoping there won't be a confrontation. *What should I do* I said to myself in panick "That's between me and my sister. As for you I have told you what you need to do. Stay. away. from Ese or else.. "Else what?This isn't the 90s you can't just threaten people to stay away from your sister" Mudia smriked and said"well I just did and trust me my threats are more like warnings. And they are only given once" *Okayyyy,I just got a freaky vibe from my brother* *What in the world is happening* "Well I'd have to see what you plan on doing to me cause I have no plan to stay away from her" Seyi replied Mudia let out a laugh which sounded really scary "well I'll really enjoy showing you" "Mudia!!" I shouted Everybody turned to me. "What's wrong with you?. Why are you talking and acting like this?" My brother turned to me and said with a werid smile "Well little sis. We have alot to discuss.Time to let you in on the family secrets" "Enough!" Mr Abayomi shouted We turned to look at him who apparently has been here all along. "I have been quiet but this is getting too far. Leave. Now." That's when I heard a car door open,one of the five guys my brother brought with him opened the door. My Dad walked out. And I thought things were bad.Shit. He walked past me, mudia and then Seyi and stopped at Mr Abayomi. "Segun" my Dad said "Osazee" Mr Abayomi replied "I was wondering when you were going to speak. You were always a spoilsport" my Dad said "I was quite enjoying the children's show" he continued Wait they know each other that well? "Of course you were. Take your children and leave. We have a scandal to resolve let's not make another one" Mr Abayomi said "Actually you have a scandal to resolve. This was caused by your inability to handle your home.So fix this." "And you" he looked at Seyi and continued "I don't want you around my daughter" He then turned to me and gave a Stern look "you know to an extent what I'm capable of, so you better use your head" I nodded timdily. He then looked up at everyone with a smile deprived of emotion. "This was nice. For the sake of peace hope it doesn't happen again" He walked towards I and mudia "Son. We are done here. Get your sister." The car door was opened by one of his guys and he entered. Mudia turned to me and nodded towards one of the cars, signaling me to go into it. Not wanting things to escalate I moved towards the car and mudia followed behind. As I was about to go in i turned around to see Seyi moving towards us and I quickly mouthed *I'm okay, I'll handle this* and went into the car fully. Through the window glass I saw he stopped moving which meant he understood that acting now was only going to make things worse. I looked at him one more time before looking at my brother and then forward. The bad bitch in me has been awaken. I smirked. Wait why was I smirking? And then I realized. I was enjoying this. I loved winning and I'm going to do more than that in this war. I'll triumph. I and Seyi.

Seyi's pov

I went into my room and banged the door close. I'm angry with the situation and mostly myself. I hate that I couldn't do anything to stop the stupid show that happened before my very eye's. I hope Ese is okay and her crazy family aren't hurting her. I picked up my phone to call her. I stopped in my tracks when I remembered the look she gave me before she entered the car. She has this covered. Calling her now will only make things worse. In the meantime I have to help her out by dealing with the scandal created by my also very messed up family. Ray walked in. I looked up to see that his back was resting on the wall with one of his legs raised up and placed on the wall and the other resting firmly on the ground. I smirked. I scanned through my room. I saw a book. This should do it. I threw it at him. He doged. "Hey what was that for!" He shouted "Twit your dirty legs were on my room wall" "Piss off" he replied I let out a laugh and he joined in. "Bruv you good?" Ray said "Yea I am." I replied "I just have to handle the mess i created,I need to help Ese at least in that way" I said with determination "Definitely, but you'll need help from your dad" he responded "I don't need his help" "We both know you do" he said " Seyi, no matter what,he is your dad. Your family. Family make mistakes.Sure.But they are still family.So set aside your negative feelings and do something positive." "Ray what are you saying?.How don't you understand how I feel?. We basically grew up together,you know how I have always felt about not being recognized in my own family and then how much I adored my father. You should understand where I'm coming from." I responded agitated "Seyi I understand you perfectly. And trust me when I say I feel the same way you do,but I'm trying to let you know that despite what he did your father loves you. I have been here longer than you have so I understand to a certain extent how things work here and I get to a little degree why he did what he did. He could have been braver sure. But he wasn't,there's really nothing you can do,but move on.Why?.Cause he is a father that obviously loves you,if he didn't he won't have been as around as he was for you.Heck for both of us. So Seyi calm down and work with him to get the issue under control and help Ese" "How do you and my mom always have the same line of thoughts?" He let out a laugh before saying "Cause we are both wise and you are a dimwit" "Piss off" I said "I'm glad you've talked to your mom" Ray said "Yea..I talked to her when I was with my dad some minutes before the argy-bargy happened" I said "About that. What's your plan?" Ray asked with concern "Wait it out I guess" I replied unsure "Okay. Let's see how it goes" "Yea... Hopefully well. Cause I don't know what else to do" "It will be fine bruv. Don't panic" he said "So Eni is outside waiting. I want to take her home. See you when I get back. Your dad is downstairs by the way,go talk to him" he continued "Alright bruv." I replied "Tell Eni I said bye" "I'll do that" And he left. I took my phone and texted Ese thinking texting shouldn't be an issue. *Are you okay?* the text said I dropped my phone and headed downstairs. I got down and saw that my dad just ended a call. So Dad how are we going to handle the scandal? I said from behind him. He turned to me and said "Son leave that to me, I'll find a way. And about our talk....." "I don't care about that right now. It happened. You betrayed me and I have no urge to continue talking about it. What I care about now is helping my girlfriend and putting an end to this ruckus is the only way I know how at this time" He was about to say more but i stopped him by saying "You are my father. I have your blood running through my veins. I won't forget that . You say it wasn't lack of love that made you isolate me from my home,I believe you cause my mom does and apparently knew all about this. It was to protect me in the in the way you both knew how. I don't believe that was the best way to do that but I can't do anything about it cause It's in the past. So I'm focusing on the present. Right now I need you to be my father,the father I knew before today and let me help the woman I love and the family I was isolated from for as long as I have been alive" After a second or two my dad replied "Okay son. First, Dinner tonight with the rest of the family.Second, tomorrow a meeting with the Media" "And about Ese you'll have to stay... "Dad. Not you too. Her family can be against us but mine won't. I love and want her. And my family should be happy regardless of the situation" He gave a look I couldn't decipher and then said"Son there's something you have to know."
