Chapter 8: A night to remember : Part I
Luna's point of view
As we bickered, my eyes suddenly turned to Eric, I noticed he had fallen asleep and tried to silence Zac and Nadia's " Guys! Shut the hell up and look ! Eric fell asleep". We discreetly left his room to join ours to rest too.
A few minutes before Eric wakes up, "What do you think happened between Eric and that vampire princess ?", I asked. "Personally, I think they at least kissed," said Nadia. "No way ! Eric is too shy to kiss her" exclaimed Zac. "Finally our sleeping beauty woke up," I said with a mocking tone when I saw Eric heading to our table. "Haha, very funny Lu", he replied to me. After he told us all about his night with this vampire princess, in some ways I feel a little disappointed when he said that he invited her on a date.
Why I feel this way ? After all Eric and I are just friends, he can do whatever he want and date whoever he want, but still I'm disappoited and a bit sad. A voice A voice brought me back when I was still lost in my thoughts "Lu, what do you say ?", Eric said with a wait of approbation in his eyes. But appobation for what, I didn't hear anything they were saying/ Then I just responded to him as it came to me in my head "oh ! Yeah ! That seemed perfect to me".
"So, Eric let me be your personnal help for this date, I will make sure that everything work well for you tonight znd if you listen carefully to my advice maybe and maybe you can kiss her on the mouth this time," Nadia said enthusiasticly. "Well, thanks Didi," Eric responded. " You're welcome, now go to your room and wait me there I'll choose what you'll wear tonight,"
"Didi, Zac, can I talk to you for a moment ?", I said ; "yeah, what can I do for you ?", replied Nadia and Zac replied "Oh, ok." "Do you think it's really a good idea to arrange a date for Eric and this vampire princess ? Well, I mean do you think that it'll work between them after all she is a vampire and he a werewolf," I said hesitantly because I didn't know if I should say such things especially about Eric's sentimental life.
"Firstly Lu, she has a name it's Vanessa and secondly I think you should be happy for Eric. In addition, he haven't dated anyone since college; this date is what good for him," Nadia replied and Zac added " yeah, I agree with Didi. Did you see Eric's face ? He always has this stupid smile on his face since he met this vampire princess."
I responded to them "ok, maybe you are right but what if they weren't compatible and if Eric comes out broken. As a friend, we should help him; I don't know maybe we can accompany him on this date just to make sure everything will be all right and then we'll them. What do you say ?" Then Zac and Nadia looked at each others before Nadia saying "ok, we'll follow them just to meet the girl and then we leave." I was a little happy at this moment, I'll prove to them that vampie doesn't belong to werewolf and viceversa.
Back at the nightclub now
What have I done ? I bring a princess to a nightclub; 'this isn't good Eric, this isn't good' I repeated to myself again and again. "Hi, nice to meet to you, I'm Nadia and this in my left is my brother Zac and she, this girl is Luna. We are Eric's best friends," said Nadia enthousiastically and holding out her hand to Vanessa. "Didi ! Can I talk to you for a moment ? I said with a firm voice, Nadia replied "Sure". "Vanessa! I'll be right back, I just need to adjust some little thing", I said to Vanessa and she replied confused " oh! ok."
Then Nadia and I stepped away from Luna, Zac and Vanessa . "What are you guys doing here ? This is supposed to be a date and it's not a date if I bring my friends here," I said angrily and with a low voice so the others cannot hear me followed by a gaze that says 'I'm gonna kill you' . "Hey ! Don't look at me like that, it's Luna's idea. She is worried that about you dating a vampire and she say something like you are gonna be heart broken and I don't you to be heart broken", she said making a doggy eyes. "That's very nice of you but I'm a big boy I know what I'm doing," I replied with a always a little anger in my tone.

Luna's thoughts
When Eric was leading in our direction I immediately turned my gaze to girl beside him, she was wearing a fairly revealing outfit; she has a pale ivory skin, black eyes and very red lips "so, you are Vanessa huh ? Should we call you your majesty and bow to you ?" I asked with a little sarcasm. I don't really like vampire because of one thing they think that they are superior to us with there king and queen, I think that everyone should be equal. For us werewolves our Alpha is our leader and our protector and we show him respect because of that not because of his blood; she is princess only because her great grandfather was a king, so she didn't deserves her status.
But then Zac quickly touched my arm and said "Lu ! Don't! ". "No,.., it's fine, don't worry. And no need for such formalities, I'm not here as a princess, just call me Vanessa", she replied before adding "you must be Luna, I guessed ?" "Yeah, it's me. And ..." but Zac interrupted me and said " and I'm Zac, glad to meet you".
After my little discussion with Nadia we decided to join the others, "Vanessa, can I talk to you please ?", I said. "Of course", she replied; "I'm sorry that tonight was tonight I mean I take you to a nightclub and with my friends in addition. It's not what I promised to you earlier." "Eric, it's fine", I said to reassure him. "You said earlier that we will do something that I never done before. Well, I never been to a nightclub so technically you didn't lie to me and your friends seem awesome."
After a long wait in the queue it was finally our turn, the bouncer said " ladies and gentlemen, please show me your invitation." Nadia replied confidently "sure, here" and she handed our tickets to him. When we enter at El Pecador, it was very crowded, welled designed, a huge dance floor and bar filled with very expensive drinks and with several barmaids, many people were in line to have a drink. It is surely the classiest of all the clubs I have been to with Luna, Nadia and Zac.
