Chapter 9: A night to remember : Part II

"A nightclub ?", Eric and I said perfectly synchronious and then we heard another voice "finally you here, we waited for you for a hour now," that voice came from a very welled-dressed woman, she was wearing a fairly short green emerald dress who suits her very well with her short curly blonde hair, besides her a guy with a crew cut blonde hair like the previous girl and wearing a hawaiian shirt with a blue jeans and finally a girl with a serious expression on her face, she was wearing a dark blue dress with white polka dots, dark brown hair styled in a sleek ponytail.

According to the expression on Eric's face, he seemed annoyed to see what I imagine his friends. "Hi, I'm Nadia, this is Zac and she is Luna. It's nice to meet you" , she said when she extended her right hand to me but Eric intercepted it before I could hold her hand in return and said "Didi, can I talk to you for a moment please ?" and she replied "sure". Then he turned his gaze towards me and said "Vanessa ! I'll be right back, I just need to adjust some little things", his face seems to say that meeting his friens wasn't a part of the plan tonight. "Oh, ok", I replied a little confused. Then they stepped way from us, I noticed that Luna girl wa staring at me from my head to my toe and I felt a little uncomfortable before.

« So, should we call you your majesty and bow to you? », she asked with like a mocking tone, no, rather sarcasm. I replied to her calmly " No, it's fine and no need for such formalities just call me Vanessa. And you must be Luna, I guessed ?" She replied coldly "yeah, it's me and..." but she was interrupted by Zac and couldn't her sentence "and I'm Zac, glad to meet you." Then Eric and Nadia went back to us, Eric apologized to me about the evening but it was totally for me. Well, I don't go out very often anyway and It was the first time I went to a nightclub.

After Nadia to the bouncer our invitations, he opened the door for us. I was totally amazed, I never seen so many people dancing stick to each other with this very loud music, there was a huge bar where many people are queuing to have a drink, many waiters and waitresses with fancy outfits. Far away we can see what appears to be a VIP corner with men dressed in black suits, surely bodyguards, waiting in front; women with not very appropriate outfits dancing in front of some men. Then a waitress approached us and said welcome to El Pecador or The Sinner and leads us to a free table, from there we can clearly see the VIP corners most of the men who were there were mostly men old enough to be my dad or something like that, and they were all vampires.

But there is one that stood out among these men, he is in his 400th year as a vampire with perfectly groomed wheat blond hair but a few strands falling to the side, he had ocean blue eyes. He wore a white shirt cut to his abdomen and perfectly shows his musculature with a blue jeans. He was surrounded by several beautiful women but none of them seemed interested him because he didn't give a damn look at them and continues to talk to the other men seated at the same table as him. He turned and noticed that I was looking at him and he winked at me with a mischievous smile on his face.

I immediately looked away which landed directly on Eric who was staring at me as well with a sweet smile. We looked at each other there for a few minutes before Nadia interrupted us and said "Wow, I love this song, let's go to the dance floor".

"Yeah, ok and besides I think I caught that redhead girl's attention over there," Zac replied while waving his hand to this redhead girl

" No thanks, I'm fine here ", replied Luna and with a serious look on her face.

Why doesn't that surprise me, plus I surprised her giving me a cold glare several times and she has never smiled since we arrived. It looks like she is annoyed by my presence but I did nothing to her; I'm a pretty tolerant person in general but if we try to mess uo with me I stick out the fangs.

"Come on Lu, I know you like this song too. Dane with me !" , said Nadia.

"No I assure you ..." but Nadia didn't let her finish her sentence and suddenly pulled her up and forced her to follow her on the dancefloor.

It was only Eric and I that left, he walked stood up, walked and sat very close to me that I can almost see my reflection in his beautiful hazel eyes

"So, it looks like thers is only the two of us left", he said while blushing a little.

"Yeah, ...It looks like", I replied shyly.

At that moment, I had the impression that it was just us and that the rest of the world was disappearing, she is even more beautiful up close. I don't know what I'm doing anymore but I no longer control my body and slowly push my head forward to kiss her.

What is he doing ? Oh my ... is he going to kiss me. "Would you like a drink ?" I said out loud and quickly as our faces were inches apart that I could feel hiss warm breath burning the skin of my face for barely a minute.

"What ?", he said confused.

"Uh, I… I'm thirsty and I would like to drink something.", I said before I stood up and walked over to the bar and said "Come on, let's go to the bar".

"Ok, but I think I'll go to the bathroom first," he said puzzled and looked down at the floor.

"Oh ! Ok, I'll wait for you at the bar", I replied and he smiled then left.

When I was heading to the bar, I feel a cold hand grabbing my wrist.
