The Champion/Daring Escape!

Alex focused on the elements around him as they drew towards him. He sucked in as many as he could before he heard the huge metal gate open. But when he opened his eyes, he did not expect to see that the champion had been the emotionless girl. Sure it could have been predicted since she clearly had better living necessities than he did but still.

The girl walked out of the gate and looked at Alex with those cold eyes of her. Alex stood up and got ready, after all she is the champion. Alex kept his eyes on her the entire time she walked out. Her long white hair trailed behind her. Alex grabbed one of the cleavers off the ground and got into a weird stance. It was the best he could do. Alex rushed forward to catch her off guard but didn't expect for her to disappear as he did that. Looking around, he felt the air push his back as he felt something hit him. Alex flew through the air and hit the wall face first. Before he could slide off, Alex felt his head get grabbed as the world flew around his head. He hit the ground and slid a few feet. Alex tried to get up and look at her. The girl was just standing there in front of him. She didn't show a slight change in her attitude. Alex quickly checked his stats to see what he was missing.

Alex grimaced, even with these stats he is still weak in front of her. The girl bent down and delivered a quick right hook to his face. Spitting out blood and rolling a few feet Alex was directly knocked out. The girl sighed, she had done this multiple times already. This would make the 143rd contestant that she has killed. They seem to progress quickly because there is around 30 contestants per year. She just wanted to leave, its starting to get boring.

*Emergency take over activated*

Alex flashed to his feet, his status board was still open.

Alex swiped away the status screen and looked at the girl. The girl could tell something had clearly changed about him. She got into her fighter stance, corrected throughout her multiple battles. They locked eyes as they both flashed from their position. Instantly they flew around the battle field. Alex threw out his fist but she dodged and punched out at Alex's chest. Dodging her fist, Alex threw a punch at her face. She ducks under and tries to sweep the leg but Alex jumps up and delivers a sidekick. Blocking it she still flies into the wall. Not expecting to go flying she wiped the blood from her mouth and jumped down. Alex was standing in the same space they were in before. She finally smiled. She hadn't gotten serious in a while.

*Invoking Authority*

Just as she was about to run at him she stopped in her tracks. A cold sweat drenched her back as she her breathing got staggered. She looked at him and saw death emanating from his every being. She wiped the thought of attacking him and subconsciously backed against the wall. In fact the entire stadium went quiet. Alex's aura was clearly felt throughout the entire stadium. Immediately the glow of the forcefield was brighter and multiple people appeared above it.

Alex looked up with his emotionless eyes and stopped letting out his aura and looked back at the girl. Alex walked towards the damaged wall that he had flown at in the previous troll battle. Looking back at her he motioned for her to come here. The girl shook her head no and fell to the ground. Alex sighed and flashed in front of her. He had crossed the entire stadium in less than a second. Grabbing her hand, Alex dragged her towards the wall. Alex put his hand up to the tiny hole that he could see through. A huge explosion occurred and Alex dragged her through it. Seeing another wall Alex sighed once again. Putting his hand up to it once again, Alex cast his fireball. Multiple explosions occurred as he busted throughout 5 different walls. As he blew up the last wall, he heard multiple screams. It seems that he just broke out and into a square with multiple food stands. Smelling the food his stomach grumbled but he didn't take any. He stood the girl up and looked her in the eyes.

"We need to run, if you don't follow me, I don't care. If you get caught I don't care. I will not care for you but if you choose to follow me, do not expect special treatment for now."

The girl nodded her head and they both flashed. Alex jumped on top of the houses and ran at full speed. He could see the city walls on the horizon. Alex looked behind him and saw the girl following. She looked away when he looked but when she did that she saw that they were being followed by 3 people. They were flying and were in purple and blue robes. Alex stopped abruptly and cast 6 fireballs, 2 for each. They flew towards the mages and exploded upon contact. Alex immediately ran again catching up to the girl and running behind her. Alex glanced behind him to see that the 3 were reduced to one. This last one was gaining on him, he had on the purple robe.

*Invoking Authority*

Immediately the mage stopped and hovered in the air. Alex could see that the guy had a scared expression on his face. If he had his friends he would be confident to follow, but they were killed when the fireballs hit their head, he wasn't going to submit to the same fate.
