Life On The Road

*During their escape*

"Daddy, he's getting away! We must go get him!"

The King of the South watched as he heard explosions blast through the wall. He motioned towards his guard. "Retrieve the boy and girl."

The guard immediately relayed the orders and a group of three mages was dispatched. Little did he know, Alex had killed his guards. They were the unfortunate ones killed by the fireballs, the last one returned to relay the news that he had gotten away. The king sighed, grabbing the man by his throat and pulling him close. The king looked him in the eyes squeezing just a little.

"Bring him to me or you will die."

Dropping him to the ground, the guard immediately gasped for air. Shaking his head yes, he ran away and gathered up guards. Making up a team of 30 purple-robed mages, the guard set off. There wasn't a reason to send another team to die with a measly 5 people.

Setting off, the guard made a determined face. "I will get this boy!"

*Meanwhile back in the forest*

Alex and Risa were picking up their things. They then went towards the main road and started walking along with it. Walking for around 5 hours straight, they took a break. Alex looked at Risa and took in her looks. Her white hair blended perfectly with her face, the manly clothes didn't decrease her looks in any way. She looked like a bodyguard. Alex got up and started walking towards a nearby river. Seeing Risa follow, Alex glanced at her and smiled. Nearing a nearby river off the road, surrounded by tree's Alex started to take off his clothes.

Risa immediately exclaimed aloud and turned around.

"W-what are you doing!?"

"Taking a bath, care to join?"

Hearing a splash she turned around. Alex was rubbing the dirt and grime off of himself as he glanced at Risa. She adverted her eyes and started to take off her clothes slowly. Alex stopped scrubbing and started in a daze.

"Don't look you jerk!"

Risa screamed it after seeing Alex looking at her. Alex immediately turned around and started to scrub himself off. Feeling the water brush against his back, Alex glanced to see her slowly wading into the water. Alex hid his blush and pretended not to feel anything. Risa looked at Alex's back and started to scrub herself off. Finishing up Risa looked back over at Alex. Seeing that he was trying to scrub his back, Risa walked up to him. Putting her hand on his back, Alex jumped a little.

"Let me help you."

Alex calmed down as Risa started scrubbing his back. After getting the dirt off they both got out. Alex went to nature's call and Risa went back to pick up her stuff. After getting dressed they met back up and continued on their journey. For the first time on their trip, they see a group of people. It was a group of 3 guys along with 2 girls. Alex approached and walked past them but Risa was stopped. Alex turned around and made eye contact with who stopped her. It seemed to be the one who didn't have a relationship with the two girls. The guy had crooked teeth and no good looks at all but did have the strength based on how big his arms were.

"Why don't you join our party, we could use someone else."

"No thank you."

Brushing his hand away, Risa started to walk towards Alex but was blocked by the other two guys.

"Come on, we will treat you well."

The previous guy reached for her *ss when he said that. Risa immediately grabbed his hand and pushed him away. The guy looked at her surprised. He was in the body realm in warrior cultivation, he shouldn't be able to get pushed that easily. Alex had arrived behind the two guys by now and tapped on one of their shoulders. Turning around the guys finally acknowledge his presence. Putting a hand on Alex's shoulder, the guy in front of him said.

"Listen, bro, just get lost you can find another teammate"

Alex frowned when he touched him. Grabbing the guy's wrist, Alex crushed it. Falling to the ground screaming in pain. The other guys reacted to it. Risa immediately appeared behind the pervert and snapped his neck in one quick moment. Looking towards one of the girl, Risa motioned for them to come here. The girl's immediately acknowledged and stood in front of her. Risa examined them and told one of them to take off all their clothes. The girl immediately said no but Risa just slapped her. Alex had already killed the other two guys as well. They were surprisingly weak. Looking towards Risa, Alex saw her and the two girl's taking off their clothes. He turned away after sighing and started searching their bodies. Risa gave the girls her clothes and put on one of their sets, grabbing the other and putting it into her bag. The girl's ran away immediately in the direction they were heading. Alex looked at Risa as she got dressed and when she was done, threw a sword to her.

"Carry this from now on."

Alex strapped the sword onto his back and continued to search them. Finding a bag on one of them, Alex opened it. There were Silver and Copper coins inside along with one singular Gold coin. Alex pocketed the bag and they both dragged the corpses off the road and into the forest. Leaving the bodies there, they continued on their journey.
