The petite girl ripped the top of the capsule open and immediately was thrown against the far side of the room as Alex stood in her place. His fist opened slowly as pink hair fell to the ground. Alex didn't respond to the yells of the people and just stared at the crater in the wall. Alex's eyes had turned red with no pupil, his veins bulged seemingly brimming with power, and his body pulsed with power. The aura he gave off was that of a god but gods don't bleed.
The girl who was thrown into the wall appeared in front of Alex swinging at Alex's face but he brushed it aside throwing a punch at her side to which she also blocked and retaliated. This happened hundreds of times in a few seconds before Alex was blown back dragging pods with him into the wall. Without giving him a second to breathe the girl blasted from her position and pummeled Alex's body into the floor. Behind her, she could hear the director's voice.
"Don't kill him Alice he is still a student!"
When she heard this she hesitated for a second which is all Alex needed as he grabbed her arm and bit into it making her scream in pain. Punching her in the face he launched her into the wall to his left before standing up slowly. Alice slowly fell to the ground and coughed up some blood before looking back at Alex. Holding her arm she glared at Alex. The mages were about to intervene before the director raised his hand.
"Alice is just testing him do not worry."
Alex disregarded those words and launched at her but before he could even throw a punch he was blasted away and through multiple walls before finding himself flying across a city and into another building. Alice didn't stop there and seemingly teleported in front of him, grabbing him by his throat before jumping up and throwing him towards the huge wall that surrounded the huge city they were in.
She whispered a few words before a dragon made of pure fire appeared beneath her and blasted Alex away and outside of the city. She then rode the dragon outside of the city with the director, mages, doctors, news outlets, and Advanced students following her. Alex was smashed to the ground by the fire, his skin charring an unbelievable black as he let out a demonic scream that no human could ever make. Alice jumped off her dragon making it disappear as she smashed into the ground in front of him. Looking into Alex's blood-crazed eyes she walked forward before hitting him a couple more times making blood splatter the surroundings around him. Alex let out a small whimper before Alice pulled out a glowing rope. She wrapped it around his neck and arms as she pulled him up. As Alice looked into his eyes for a few seconds she finally broke the silence.
"What do you want with the boy Demon."
Alex let out a horrible smile as he raised his head and laughed.
"I knew you would figure it out... The Bright One or by what we call you in our text Alice the destroyer of Angels and Demons Alike. I knew you would know I have taken this body but I'm surprised you figured it out so soon."
Alice spat on the ground with a face of disgust.
"Only demons could give off such a foul stench, give the boy's body back or I will destroy your soul."
"Now now no need to be so mean~"
Alex looked at her with a go lucky smile as he looked at the rope binding him.
"This rope is good it suppresses Demons of Tier 7 and below."
Alex gave a smile that gave Alice a deep chill that reverberated from her spine. She hadn't been scared since... since her fight with the Arch-Demon. The color visibly drained from her face as she backed away a step loosening her grip on the rope.
"Ah yes it seems that you have finally noticed, this boy has taken my interest so I decided to play a little. Entertain me for a little more."
Alex outstretched his arms snapping the rope with ease as he stared into Alice's eyes. Alice to stared back but not with the emotional detachment from before but with fear now. It took thousands of guilds to come together to try and beat the Arch-Demon but it was all impossible. Its elite troops slaughtered thousands of people in mere seconds as it sat on its throne watching us all from above. And when we finally had hope he stood up, just the pressure from him walking brought many of us to our knees, humanity's pride was suppressed and brought to our knees just from seeing him walk towards us. And then all of it was a blur after that, just his laughter and the scream of her comrades as he ripped their hearts out and devoured them in front of her. That day she lost her best friend as well as a husband in a desperate attempt to purge the very evil who lay in wait to extinguish the light that was humanity.
Launching from his position, the ground cratered around him for miles as he appeared before Alice looking into her eyes and eating up the fear from her eyes.
"Ah yes, the look I so much love.... fear of death!"
Alex grabbed her by the throat rising her in the air.
"IMPOSSIBLE YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE BANNED FROM THE OVERWORLD!"
Alice screamed in desperation as she struggled within his grasp. His strength was nothing like before. Alex tightened his grasp as he threw her at the City wall. Flying like a bullet she smashed into the wall destroying a segment of it as Alex raised his hand to the sky.
"COME MY CHILDREN FOLLOW ME!"
Behind Alex monster roars of all kinds started reverberating through the sky as sounds of a stampede came through the air. In response, thousands of mages started appearing above the wall of the city as the broken part was surrounded by a greenish light. The blocks started to rise rebuilding it slowly. Alex disappeared from where he was appearing right above where Alice crashed into the wall. However, he didn't see her anywhere.
"Looking for me!"
Alice screamed from behind him as she slashed down with a sword bathed in half-light half-darkness and continued to swing at him with precise cuts and hits. Soon Lights danced across the horizon as mages engaged the beast wave around them. Alex grabbed the blade but screamed in pain when he did quickly backing off. This blade is the reason why she escaped him in the first place. The weapon that he kept in his vault as a secret to no one but himself, The sword of the first Nephalem. Roaring in pain the monsters just yelled even louder as they charged towards the city but in a split second they all stopped in their tracks. As if time stopped no monster moved. The mages that were fighting them stopped as well and retreated quickly trying to figure out what happened. Alice however looked at Alex and watched him.
Alex fell to his knees holding the wound by the sword.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!"
"Well if you're not going to leave then ill just seal you for now."
The once raging beast soon all turned away from the already rebuilt wall and went back into the forest. Alex was left in the grassy field on his knees his eyes cried black blood as he screamed in pain. Alice appeared before him sheathing her sword before grabbing him.
"It's okay your okay."
"FINE, YOU WANT TO HELP THIS BOY THEN FIX THE PAIN THAT HE HOLDS SO CLOSE TO HIS HEART SOMETHING THAT COULD NOT BE SUPPRESSED BY MAGIC, NOT EVEN BY THE LIKES OF ME!"
Alex then slumped over for a few seconds before he immediately bent his back at a weird angle letting out a scream filled with pain and sorrow.
"DON'T LEAVE ME RIAS!!!!"
Alex kept crying while saying Rias's name over and over again as Alice tried to grab him. Soon Alex gained some sense of self-awareness and grabbed a small blade that Alice had sheathed and tried to plunge it into his chest but Alice quickly stopped him.
"It's okay... your okay"
Alice said these words into his ears before hitting him on the head, knocking him out but before he fell into his slumber a few words were mumbled only audible for Alice to hear.
"Please don't leave me again Rias."
