(A/N: Heads up, I have a pa*tr*eon now (pa*tr*eon.com/angelothemercer) without the '*' ... so yeah, I'm extremely new, don't know exactly what to do in it, it was recommended to me but I guess holding polls at certain times is useful... maybe? Donating is entirely optional. My fanfiction will continue on Webnovel completely free. Donating is only for those who wish to show their support. Thats it I guess… Hope you enjoy the chapter.)

(Shinno POV)
The form of Kakashi looked at the struggling form of Shinno, holding him by the neck a few cm from the ground with his left hand while laying back in some rubbles.
"I don't know…" – I tried to explain but was interrupted immediately by a stronger grip on my throat.
"You do know. You know about the Zero-tails don't you?" – Kakashi asked as my eyes widened.
One had to know that very few knew of the Zero-tails… most of them being the leaders of the Land of the Sky. It was something considered too risky to even be considered. They had seen the prowess of the tailed beasts before. If something of a similar scale broke out in a village that resided in the sky it would be the end of the village.
But now, when the original source of power for the Sky village to power itself had been destroyed and was no longer feasible… the Zero-tails was the only method viable.
'Become a legendary shinobi? I had no bloodline nor enough talent to threaten the major villages… at least not until I found out about the dark chakra. With the body restoration technique, it would allow me to become a nigh-immortal and invincible shinobi. I would have become an eternal emperor of this world… and yet, just as I was so close to it, this… thing had to appear before me.' – I thought as I couldn't perceive the shinobi standing in front of me as anything more than… artificial.
'Extensive genetic modifications. Nothing short of that would stop a chakra-infused blade with no visible effort to defend himself… Even that eye seems biological enough, possibly someone kidnapped him to experiment on his Sharingan and created that… or just happened to be a bonus once he turned the original on whatever Kakashi is now… or none of it. I can't tell what has happened with no information, trying more would be idiotic. He is an experienced shinobi, my 'death' technique needs specific conditions and even then, since he is after me, he will make sure I'm actually dead. It's no use struggling.' – I thought as I stopped and just decided to stay still.
(A/N: He is just 'hanging there' now... no? …I'll just continue writing.)
"Given up already?" – Kakashi asked as he let up the pressure on my neck so I could reply.

(3rd Person POV)
Unlike in the movie, Shinno had yet to taste that immense power from wielding the dark chakra. His mind was calculating, determined, and still sound. He had already betted everything in the plan to revive the Reibi… and mostly succeeded. If it wasn't for the abrupt rise of the new Hokage he would have attacked in the following months.
But now… he had to wait for an opportunity to present itself. Something that could take years, but he didn't mind. The young Hokage was bound to start a conflict with the other villages, even if as fear of other villages towards his strength. Once he overextended himself Shinno would attack… at least that was the plan before today.
"I won't talk. Kill me, torture me, try what you might." -Shinno said determined but he couldn't count on resisting any type of genjutsu.
Especially given that Kakashi might still have a Sharingan on his other eye. He couldn't let a major village, especially Konoha, control the Reibi, even letting it run wild would be a better option. Who knows, Amaru might even carry on in his place from the grief. But it was more likely she would just become deranged and rampage.
"Haa… to count on someone I planned to drag down the pits of despair…" – Shinno said as he waved through a few hand signs while Kakashi simply watched.
"Even the Uchiha cant bring back the dead." - Shinno said as he stopped the signs and his body started to shift, blood pouring out from his eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. Not a moment later his chest exploded in blood and pieces as if a bomb was triggered inside him.
"Using Body Revival Technique forcibly while letting go of chakra control and without any dark chakra. Indeed what can heal can much more easily kill. The chakra pushed wildly and collided in the chest. The result is…" – Kakashi spoke as the pieces of flesh, bone, and organs from Shinno were absorbed into him.
"… Quite good. The old man kept his body in good condition, though the chakra leaves much to be desired. I would have thought that he would be more cowardly. Not bad old man… but death is not the end most think it is, especially in this world, and in front of us death becomes eternity." – As Kakashi spoke calmly, holding a dignified and mysterious look… he suddenly looked at the book on his hand, only to find pieces of blood and flesh on top of it.
His eye widened comically and then arched upward sadly as he spoke softly.
"It was a limited edition Icha Icha…" – And so was destroyed the image of the mysterious and dignified shinobi.
Though his face was mourning, his body never stopped as it extended tendrils towards the deceased shinobi, slowly bringing a new recruit to join the ranks.
Not 5 minutes later a couple of steps were heard as Kakashi hid his book quickly, putting it into his pocket and turning to the newcomer.
Straight red hair, wearing standard Konoha combat garbs and a happy expression on her face.
"Kakashi." – She greeted.
"Kushina-san. Any luck?" – He greeted back as he asked, though the answer was obvious.
"You would be more than surprised." – Kushina chirped happily.
"Is that so? With you being so jumpy I can only assume it's your 1st objective. Though do I even need to assume?"
*BANG* - Punishment befell Kakashi.
"Where is the fun if you just know it? You have to ask and be surprised when I announce it."
"Yes, yes… so you found it." – Kakashi responded as he jumped up from the rubble and got ready to move to his next objective.
"Indeed. We found the tower." – Kushina said as a smile bloomed on her face.
