Aftermath.

(MC POV)

'In the south-west corner' – Those were the words whispered to me as Itachi used my sword to pierce me.

My blood-red eyes darted in the direction, spotting a single crow in the corner of the room, locking eyes with it as both of our eyes rotated at speed, until two par of Mangeyou Sharingan were staring at each other. Not a moment later, the crow had disappeared, but I felt a connection similar to that of a summon being formed. Different from others, this contract was but with a singular crow. It was something that would have to be investigated at a later moment, as for now all that mattered was that I get my hands on those eyes.

(I am going with the anime method (Sasuke) that showed in order to get EMS, you don't just plop the other eyes on top of the existing one, but just remove the original pair and implant the other.)

'So this is where they disappeared to, the missing pair of Mangekyou Sharingan, the whole reason I bothered with keeping the Uchiha compound off of those pests' reach for all these years.' – I laughed hysterically in my mind as I looked impassively at the crow in front of my eyes. I had searched the compound's every nook and cranny but no amount of Sharingan or Byakugan could reveal its location. At first, I thought that the reason they weren't found was that Fugaku had either known about Itachi beforehand and hidden them, maybe telling him their location during his last moments, or Itachi had hidden them somewhere himself after he massacred them.

In either case, it was unlikely for the eyes to have been destroyed during the massacre, Itachi's worsening condition making him uncertain in his ability to pass down his own eyes to Sasuke, making his father's eyes… a type of insurance if you will. So that his little brother had a chance at the light in either case.

As I processed the information, my body finally touched the floor, falling down sideways, a blade still stuck in my chest.

"NO!!!" – Was the scream I heard as the sound of movement followed right after.

It only took a moment for Sasuke to come running, turning my body as I looked at his crying face, a single string of blood starting to drip from my lips in a dramatic fashion.

"You're going to be fine, "

Looking at his blood-red eyes, now sporting an atom-shaped pattern in black as he looked at me.

Raising my arm slowly, I grabbed Sasuke's shirt, dragged him closer as I looked straight at his face with half-closed eyes, and smiled lightly.

"Your knee is pressing on my abdomen… and you moved the sword when you turned me over…" – I said as Sasuke looked wide-eyed at me.

Looking down he saw that the knew he thought was pressing on the stone floor, was actually on his brother's abdomen. Staring at the sword promptly he also noticed how it had torn the wound by about 2 cm… sideways.

Moving quickly, Sasuke removed his knee and pulled out the sword carefully, making sure to keep a safe distance this time around.

"Haa" - I 'breathed in' as the pressure on my abdomen was released.

'I swear, if I was human, this idiot would have done more damage than Itachi.' – I commented as I looked at his eyes and smile a little more.

'Truly a worthy endeavor.' – I thought as I looked at those glowing orbs that would soon be mine.

"What are you doing? At this rate, people will start to think I'm really dead. Help me up." – I said as Sasuke wiped his tears, looking at me questionably and worriedly.

"YOU WERE JUST STABBED STRAIGHT THROUGH, the sword came out of the other side, the whole length of it." – Sasuke almost screamed as he looked at me like I was a lunatic.

"…So? What's your point?"

"… Just… wait here until my team gets here. I have a medic… of sorts." – Sasuke said as his eyes dodged mine for a moment.

I didn't bother thinking about it as something else came to mind.

"Wait, what happened to those two I left outside?"

"Oh, I put them in a genjutsu and knocked them out afterward. Why did you even bother taking them with you?" – Sasuke asked as I smiled.

"I thought you might miss them, you guys were a team after all. Maybe even exchange a few techniques to see how your training is holding up. I'm impressed you are able to effortlessly put them down." – I praised as Sasuke looked at me quietly.

"About Naruto… there is something inside him." – Sasuke began as I raised my hand to stop him.

"We have met. Quite an aggressive little fella isn't it? "

"… That is one way to put it 'little?'… I guess."

"So, how is your vision?" – I asked Sasuke, enjoying his reaction at just realizing their existence.

Focusing on them, a mass of black flames was sent flying cm off of my face, and an embarrassed "sorry" following at my deadpan stare.

"Tch…" – escaped from Sasuke as he felt pain overwhelm his eye as he covered it.

"Don't worry. After I replace your eyes with Itachi's, you won't have to deal with this pain."

Sasuke stood silent as he heard my words, opting to speak after a few seconds.

"….Then what about you?" – He asked as he looked at me.

"Don't worry about it, Itaachi's eyes will not benefit me in any way even if we disregard yours. They are too far gone. They will however secure your light. You won't have to worry about going blind… you will even have more power." – I said as I put my hand on his head while smiling.

Sasuke looked at my eyes, clenching his teeth as he spoke.

"Then let me at least be of use, since those eyes won't die out, let me use them to help you, instead of you continuing to use yours."

I grinned at him as I rubbed his head with force, shaking it continuously back and forth.

"Do you think you have a choice? You have been gone for this long and left me to handle the clan matters on top of my duties as Hokage. I let you do as you wish until now, but now I am going to drag you back with me to the village, hahaha." – I said laughing as Sasuke tried and failed to escape my grip.

Letting him go, we continued conversing for some time, it wasn't long before three figures appeared on the door, two males with physiques on completely separate ends of the spectrum and a single female with long red hair.
