Extreme bloodlust

The shadow guard got extremely worried about the Crown Prince. This was not only detrimental to their lives but also to their Crown Prince's health. Why was his Master showing these symptoms? Something was wrong, terribly wrong. This wasn't supposed to happen tonight.

His Master would always show these symptoms on the 20th of every month. On that day, his Master would be consumed by complete bloodlust and he would become a monster, a devil hungry only for destruction and death. On that night, his Master would become a completely different person. Basically, his Master was a cruel and heartless man who wouldn't care about anybody's life and death but on that night, his Master would become a killing machine. That night, his Master would become the devil himself.

What to do now?

Was this their end?

The only person except for him, who knew about their Master's state on the 20th was the Emperor. Yet, he never hated their Master nor he called him a monster who killed people. Despite their Master's insanity and bloodlust, the Emperor still loved him very him. Unlike other Emperors who would take this opportunity and sometimes kill their own child, the Emperor did not choose to do so. Instead, he helped their Master when he was in that state. This was the proof of the Emperor's love for his Master.

Once his Master entered into that bloodlust state, he wouldn't be himself. He would not think twice before killing anyone. He was deadly in that state, uncontrollable and evil. Only the Emperor could help their Master but now, they were far away from the capital.

Now, who can help the Crown Prince?

The shadow's entire back was covered with cold sweat and he couldn't help but look at his Master twice. He could tell that his Master was trying to suppress his bloodthirst. It showed that he didn't want to hurt anybody. But, the more his Master was trying to control himself, the more it would turn harmful for everyone around him.

The shadow tried to move. He tried to speak, to open his mouth but no matter what he did, it was impossible. He couldn't understand what kind of poison did this woman had used on him. He looked at her and on seeing her sleeping soundly, he couldn't help but curse her in his heart.

STUPID WOMAN!!! GET UP!!!! OTHER WE WILL ALL DIE SOON!!!!

The shadow guard howled in his heart.

Murong Jinzhi closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. For some reason, he could feel as if he was breathing her in the air. All of his senses felt heightened at this moment. He clenched his fist tightly and bit his tongue until he tasted blood. What was going on? What was wrong with him?

He looked at his shadow guard, sensing his worry and fear. He knew what he could do once he lost control of his body and mind. He did not want to lose that control. He did not want to become that other person.

This was supposed to happen on the 20th and it was still two more days to go. Why today? Why the mere thought of killing this woman made him so excited? Why was he so attracted towards her? Why? He couldn't understand. Nothing was making sense to him. Since, the moment he let her enter into his carriage, he had done things that he, himself could never do.

Why was she affecting him so much?

It was all his fault. He shouldn't have let this woman enter into his carriage? Yes, it was him who let her enter otherwise, based on his strength, she might not be able to even come closer to his carriage. At the beginning, he was simply curious when he heard her words. He didn't know why, but unlike other normal humans, he could hear anybody even though they were at a little distance from them.

Maybe it had to do something with his disease that made his ears exceptionally good. However, his father, the Emperor thought otherwise and mistook his ability to hear faraway things as another one of his talents.

When he heard this woman cautiously talking about entering into his carriage, he couldn't help but think of her as a fool. Like, who in her sane mind would consider entering into somebody's carriage with that person's permission and when the carriage was surrounded by numerous shadows guard fighting with sword and spear. Who would do that? One wrong move towards the carriage could kill her.

He didn't think that she would be so courageous to do that. Hence, when he heard her arrogant words, he simply rolled his eyes. and choose not to do anything. Because her doing was completely impossible. However, she proved him wrong. Under everyone's gaze, she entered his carriage and nobody saw her. How did she do that? He didn't know but he was curious.

After she entered his carriage, she did a lot of things that increased his curiosity and his interest in her. But, now he was regretting it. He regretted let her step inside his carriage. He hated this no-self control she was putting him in. What if, he killed her?

Would everything return to normal?

NO!

The second that thought came into his mind, he clenched his fist. His nostrils flared as he tried to suppress his bloodthirst. He did not want to kill her. Knowing that his blood was boiling inside his body and every cell, every vein inside of him wanted her blood, he tried not to lose control. Murong Jinzhi's eyes turned completely black the aura of evil on him increased. He looked at the woman sleeping beside him. Just one single move and he would have her blood dying his hand beautifully.

Just one single touch...

Half of his senses were already gone. Murong Jinzhi raised his hands to touch her when suddenly Amelia moved.

Murong Jinzhi froze. His hand remained still in the air as he watched her turn around, facing him and still sleeping soundly. While turning around, her hands accidentally touched his leg, and instantly, all of his bloodthirst was gone. He had turned back to normal.
