At Sea Again

Ilona left Mason in his cabin and went to find her mother.  Anja had spent her life on the sea and knew all the ways to help someone get over seasickness.  She was relieved when she found the woman in the galley with Jamie.

There was a barrel open and full of apples.  Ilona leaned against it and grabbed one, taking a bite out of it.  The crunching sound caught her mother's attention, and when she turned to look at her daughter, she put her hands on her wide hips.

"Your brother tells me your Prince is sick."

"Why does everyone insist on calling him mine?" Ilona asked in annoyance, "He's not mine at all.  He's a Prince.  If anything, I could be called  his  pirate."

"And I'm sure he does call you that," Jamie laughed before ducking as Ilona threw the half-eaten apple at him.  It hit the wall behind him and dropped into his hands.
