Over

Ilona marched back to their cave and quickly slipped inside.  She didn't look to see if Mason was following her, knowing he likely wasn't.  She wasn't sure if she should be angry or sad about that.

Inside by the dying fire, she quickly stripped off her wet clothes, peeling them from her skin where the water had made them cling.  She hung them up on a rope that she and Mason had strung up long ago for occasions just like this.

She stood naked in the middle of their cave, knowing he might arrive any moment.  Ilona wasn't concerned about that anymore, however.  She was so angry with him now that, naked or not, nothing would come of it if he did discover her.

Ilona toweled herself off as best she could and pulled on one of her long, sun-bleached shirts.  It wasn't until it came to rest hanging down near her knees that she realized it was actually Mason's shirt and not her own.
