It's not like we haven't shared a room before. Hell, we even slept in the same bed when we were younger. Of course that's the issue. We haven't slept over together in years.
Anxiously, I tap my feet as I stand inside his bedroom. Sam and Rose are sharing my room so now I have no choice but to stay here tonight.
Seb has gone for a shower. I can hear the water as I slowly walk to his bed. He would be gentleman enough to give me the bed right? Or will I have to sleep on the sofa in the sitting room?
Shrugging, I jump onto his bed and spread myself onto it. It's so comfortable.
"What are you doing Eva?" He asks from behind as he enters the room.
"Sleeping." I say nonchalantly.
"Hey, I'm sleeping on the bed too." He says and I feel water drop onto my feet.
"It's first come, first..." My voice trails off as I sit up and turn to face him. I gulp as I see his naked torso and wet hair. Thankfully, he has a towel wrapped around his waist to save my eyes.
How long has he been working out to get this sculpted body? I can't take me eyes off his six pack.
"Wipe your drool Eva."
I automatically wipe my mouth with the back of my hand before scowling at him with a warm face.
"Seb! I-I wasn't drooling. You tricked me." I fold my arms, "I am just appreciating God's hard work."
He laughs loudly, "Are you going to keep appreciating my body all night?" Seb smirks and leans his head down, spraying me with water from his wet hair.
I glare at him, "You made me wet."
"That's what she said." He grins.
I roll my eyes, "Can you stop being a perv. Let me sleep here tonight. You can sleep on the floor or sofa."
"You're asking the owner of the bed to give it up?!" Seb asks in wonder.
"Can't you be a gentleman for once?" I groan.
"I'm not a 'gentleman' like your Jason." He mutters, "What's the matter with sleeping on the bed anyway? It's not like we haven't slept together before."
I blush bright at his words, "That was when were kids! We're adults now."
"How is it any different?" Seb asks in confusion, "It's not like I would do anything to you."
I am not sure why I am suddenly angry but he makes sense. "Fine. Let's just both sleep here."
Turning away from him, I lie down. My heart is beating erratically. I hear him shuffling before climbing into bed beside me.
All of a sudden, my phone pings. I check the message and smile. It's Jason wishing me Goodnight.
"Goodnight Jason. Sleep tight. I'll see you tomorrow." I reply back.
"Who is it?" Seb's voice asks from near my ear.
My eyes widen and I move further away from him. "Jason." I say truthfully.
"He is messaging you at this time?" Seb asks in surprise.
"He can't?" I say sarcastically, "We're friends. You always message me at random times too."
"That's different." Seb says coldly. "You don't even know him well."
"I do. He is a good man and he helped me too. If he is bad, then everyone in the world is bad." I say. I frown. Why is Seb so interested anyway? "It's none of your business Seb. Let's sleep." I yawn.
Suddenly, I feel warm, strong arms pull me to face the other way and my breath hitches at our close proximity. "You're my best friend and Jason is my friend too. Of course it's my business."
My heart is beating fast as his deep voice whispers. I quickly turn my face to the other side again. I hope he can't hear my heart.
"I'm meeting him tomorrow. You'll be home with Sam and Rose right?"
"Why are you meeting him?"
"To return his jacket." I answer honestly.
"I can give it to him. There is no point of you going."
"Hey, why are you trying to stop me from meeting him? Do you really think I should become an old, lonely maiden?" I ask in annoyance.
"If you're not serious, there's no point wasting time. Your mother wants you to marry soon remember?"
"Who told you I am not serious about Jason?" I ask quietly.
"You... are?" His voice is low and quiet.
I smile in the dark, "He is friendly, kind, respects women and helps strangers. Jason is the perfect gentleman!" I gush happily.
"You make it sound like I'm not." He mutters.
"I'm tired. Goodnight." I say with another yawn. I reach out and switch off the lamp.

Refreshed, I wake up to find my head resting on Seb's arm. I am surprised that I slept like a log last night. I guess Seb doesn't effect me. Grinning, I pinch his cheek.
He yells and opens his eyes. I smile as his light brown eyes widen and he stares back at me. Weird, why isn't he moving?
"You're not going to get up?" I ask, still lying next to him.
"I can't. You need to move your head." He says in a deep, low sleep-filled voice.
My face heats up as I realise that I am still resting my head on his arm. "Sorry. You can get up now." I say, quickly sitting up.
He sits up slowly and my eyes drift down before he hurriedly covers his lower self with the duvet. His face is red as he turns away in embarrassment.
Laughing at him, I climb off the bed and head to the bathroom. "Don't worry, take your time." I say with a wink.
Of course I know that men having that in the morning is normal but seeing it for real feels awkward. I splash cold water on my face to wake me up. I wonder how Miracle is doing.
After bathing, I give Rina a call and ask about Miracle. He has been a good baby for her all night and hasn't given her any trouble.
Feeling relieved, I walk to the kitchen and make breakfast. It doesn't look like Rose or Sam are awake yet. They must be tired. I set the plates and wait for Seb. It's better to eat together.
My phone suddenly rings and my eyes widen as I break into a cold sweat. Why is she calling?!
"Eva, why didn't you tell me?!"
Her voice is too loud. I groan, "What now Mum?"
"What exactly did you do to Tony on the blind date?! His mother called me to complain about your rudeness. You even poured wine over him! How are you conducting yourself Eva?" She shouts angrily.
Gosh. That man is really a mama's boy at his old age. He even tattled. "Mum, do you know what happened before I did that?" He cleverly didn't confess his wrongdoing.
"So you're admitting that you actually did pour it?! Eva, do you even want to find a partner?" She sounds furious.
I sit down on the chair and sigh. "Yes I did. But that man was a pervert. He knocked over the drink first and then used it as an excuse to touch me."
The line is silent for a moment. "That bastard! You should have told me earlier so I could tell his mother exactly what happened."
I smile a little. She can't stand rude men. "You can still explain the full story to his mother." I say.
"You've already made breakfast?" Seb's loud voice asks as he walk in.
"Is that a man?" My mother suddenly sounds excited. "Do you have a man with you at this hour Eva? Where are you? It's too early for work."
"M-mum, it's my neighbour." I lie, "He came to collect his post from me."
"Post? Isn't it too early for the postman to do his rounds?" She asks in doubt.
"Eva, who's on the phone?" I glare at Seb as he asks me.
"Hold on, he sounds familiar. Is that Seb?!" Her voice is louder than before.
Fine. I'll just tell her. It's not like I am doing anything wrong anyway. "Yes. It is."
"You're with him so early?"
"Is there a problem?" I moan. How many questions is she going to ask. "Mum, I'm hungry. Can't I eat first?"
"Fine. I'll let you go." She sounds oddly enthusiastic.
"Bye." I say and hang up. I groan loudly and bang my head against the table.
"Hey, you'll end up with an ugly bruise." I feel Seb place his hand between my forehead and the table.
"Who cares? It won't make any difference." I say but Seb catches my head in his hand.
"Let's eat first. I'm hungry and you made egg and sausages." He says, sitting down next to me.
I move my head to his shoulder and lean on him. "That Tony guy is really a scum." I mutter as I eat.
"What happened?"
"He complained to his mother about me pouring wine over him but he didn't tell her what he did to me." I explain. My eyes widen and I slap my hand to my mouth. I wasn't going to tell him about it!
"What did he do?!" Seb asks angrily, standing up. "I'll go and–"
He always gets riled up like this when anyone wrongs me. I chuckle and shake my head. "Sit down. It was nothing." I don't need him to do anything to Tony since I already settled the score that day.
"Tell me Eva. I knew Jason and you were hiding something that day." He says, narrowing his eyes at me in suspicion.
I glance at the clock. "That's right. I'm meeting him today." I say to myself. I smile. Maybe I can get to know him better.
