Glamour's POV
#previously**
"Hey, you need to come over early tomorrow, or I would come pick you up, I saw a few things we need to get," I said without pausing, or waiting for her to say anything, and when I finished blabbering all that, I waited for her to say something but the line was silent.
"Wait was I talking all by myself, " I said confusingly and moved the phone away from my ear to check again but then my eyes widened the moment I saw the number, and it definitely did not belong to Maya.
***
Even though it was a strange number, I had a strong feeling that I know who that number belonged to even before I heard the persons voice.
I knew it was definitely Mr husband; the person I least expected to receive a call from after the conversations we had only a few hours ago.
I'm definitely not having this, I thought to myself and then decided to end the call, but his voice stopped me mid-action.
"Don't end the call," he said, and of course it was him the douche bag. His words made me froze for a few seconds when I heard them, and I couldn't help but wonder how he knew I was about to end the call.
"Could he-" I started to say but quickly stopped and covered my mouth with my other hand and then started to look all over my room.
He couldn't be watching me right now could he, I thought inside my head and the thought that it might actually be true sent creepy cold shivers down my entire spine.
I got up from my bed and went towards my tv that was mounted at the wall close to the door because that was the only place he had stood when came into my room.
I traced the whole of the tv from edge to edge, and even checked behind it for any hidden cameras but I found none.
Behind the tv is the only place he could hide a camera because he wasn't fully inside my room unless he had one of his minions do it while I was not home.
I turned and started to search the whole room, completely forgetting that I had not ended the phone call.
I was only reminded of the call after he spoke again, and what he said confirmed my suspicions.
"Stop searching for a hidden camera, you'll never find any because I didn't install them," He said and that made me stand completely frozen.
If I felt creepy shivers a while ago, it was definitely not as creepy as the one that ran down from the tips of my hair, down to my toenails when he said those words.
Oh my God, I married a psychopath, of course, I did what was I expecting getting married to someone who I know nothing about, I thought to myself, still standing in the same spot.
I turned slowly looking behind me to see if that was where the camera was, but I found nothing.
I need to pull myself together I can't let him see that I'm scared, I thought to myself slowly and went to sit on my bed.
I then cleared my throat and spoke trying to hide the slight trembles from my voice.
"What do you want," I said trying to sound confident.
But I was everything but confident because my lips were trembling slowly, I intentionally said nothing about the camera because it might make me lose my shit and that wouldn't be such a good idea.
"Calm down little Missy, I only called because you refused to invite me to the party you're family was throwing," He said in his annoying voice.
I didn't know I had the ability to instantly switch from been scared to been angry this fast until I heard him say the words, little Missy.
My face became flaming hot after he spoke those words, like how dare him call me that stupid name, even after what he did. I didn't even know why I was receiving this phone call right now, but I was not going to let him have the last words like the previous call we had this morning.
"You should better start counting your days before you come back because I'm going to make sure I kill you," I said seething through the phone without filtering my words.
I ended the call immediately after I dropped the call, and got up from my bed and started to search for the hidden camera.
However, no matter how much I searched the whole room, I still couldn't find anything.
I plopped down onto my bed tiredly after searching the whole room for the fifth time.
I had totally forgotten the conversations we had while I searched for the camera because the only thing on my mind after I dropped the call, was to find the damn camera. And now that I couldn't find it, the conversation came back into my head repeating itself like I was currently having it.
"Shit! Shit! Shit!"
"What the fuck did I just do," I shrieked to myself realizing what I had just done.
"I can't believe I had told him that I was going to kill him, how could I have been so stupid, how could I have been stupid enough to let my anger get the best of me," I said out loud sitting up in my bed, grabbing a fist full if my hair before letting it fall all over my face.
I don't think things are going to go my way after that display, after those words I just said, I mean what if he was the person who has my shot gun, or what If he tries to kill everyone I ever loved because I threatened to kill him, I thought to myself and all those thoughts only made me feel even more frustrated.
I couldn't believe myself right now, and I honestly don't know what I was going to do, I felt like I've totally messed up now, and there's no more escaping, I mean what could be worst than informing an enemy of your plans to kill them right before you even get the chance to.
I laid back down on my bed letting all the possibilities of ways that I might try to take back what I had said, but I couldn't think of any, so I continued to lay still on the bed until I heard a message alert tone, and the phone I was clutching tightly in my hand lit up, indicating an incoming message.
I didn't feel any strength in my limbs, so I brought the phone slowly to my face and opened up the message before reading it quietly.
"Hey, Glam, uhh, I sent your number to your hot and handsome husband, just in case he calls, bye (wink emoji)," the message read.
Of course, it's Maya, it's always being her.
