Chapter 46- City B

"Woah," Yuji said, admiring the unique setup of the reddish city, as they walked through the sidewalks.

"Pretty cool isn't it?" Yukina said.

"Yeah, it's really nothing like city D, it's somehow both traditional looking and advanced.

"Yep, though no other city looks like this," Yukina said, "I think it's some sort of culture here,".

"So, this place really takes care of their culture huh..." Yuji said.

"Though there's that, I think it has something to do with its business, I think more of this City as a business main of some sort,"

"Business?" Yuji asked.

"People in City A sometimes visit this city as if it's a tourist destination, that's why they have a travel system here to City A at a slightly expensive price, including the service and settlement,".

"You sure know a lot," Yuji said, "I think it's obvious to say that you've been here a couple of times?"

"Yeah, I've been here a lot," Yukina said, "As you may already know, S classes get sent to missions relating to other cities to provide support, I happened to be here a lot because of those missions,"

"I see," Yuji said, "so that means you get free trips to this city a lot,".

"I can't say it's free, I do missions after all," Yukina said, "and sometimes it ends up being really troublesome,".

"Oh yeah,"

As they continued to walk, Yukina suddenly stops.

"What's wrong?" Yuji said, stopping beside her.

"Now that I think about it when you said explore, what did you have in mind?" Yukina asked.

"What? I thought you were leading us?" Yuji said.

"Wait... So, you're telling me we were walking with no direction whatsoever…" Yukina said.

"Then do you know any popular places here?" Yuji asked.

"By popular, you mean for tourist or something?"

"Yeah," he nodded

"But why?"

"We just got here last night, might as well use the first day to relax don't you agree?"

"So… you just want to have fun?" she tilted her head looking confused.

"Today, yeah," Yuji said, "I already have an idea on what we could do tomorrow to get Intel and stuff,".

"I see..." she nodded, "so we're basically just strolling for fun today,".

"Yeah, it'd be a wasted opportunity for me now that I'm here to not have fun,".

"And here I thought you were a super serious person," Yukina said, "isn't this basically what they call a date?" She thought.

"Is that bad?" Yuji let out a smile.

"No... Not at all," Yukina replied, "No... I probably shouldn't be thinking like that," she thought.

"There's an amusement park nearby here that's really entertaining, what do you think?" Yukina said.

"Sure, but let's also make time for other places," Yuji said.

"Other places..." Yukina bowed her head as she thinks of what to do, "hmm, I don't know, the amusement park seems to be the best place,".

"There isn't anything else you can think of?" Yuji said.

"Well... It's because most of the awesome things are in the amusement park, including one of the best Cafe and entertainment. It's like the center attraction of the city,".

"In that case, I wonder if it's an actual amusement park," Yuji said.

"That's just it, it's an amusement park, but it's completely different from what we have in city A, as well as the one in City D,".

"So that's this country's uniqueness on a different level..." Yuji said, not knowing how to react.

"I guess..." Yukina said, "how about we actually go there first, it's still early so we can have lunch somewhere else if you want,".

"I thought you said it had everything good in there," Yuji said.

"Almost everything," Yukina said, "the meals there are pretty decent but there's a restaurant near there which I'm very excited to eat at again, everything on their menu is the best tasting dishes I ever tasted,"

"I see, then I guess we'll head there for lunch?" Yuji said.

"YEP!"

And so, Yukina and Yuji made their way towards the amusement park, as Yukina lead them with a cheerful expression filled with excitement.

Yuji followed Yukina feeling a sense of relief he had not felt for over a long time.

"Hmm, isn't this like a date?" a soft voice whispered onto Yuji's head, "ahh, what a wonderful youth you're having right now,"

"You talk as if you're an old woman, didn't you tell me you were only 3 years older before than us?" He replied.

"That was before I died, now I'm basically four years older!"

"that's not much of a difference…"

"hm?" Yukina turned around, "Yuji did you say something?"

"ah! No… It's nothing I was just mumbling,"

"I see, you seem to mumble a lot now that I noticed, I don't think it's weird though, just saying,"

"I…thanks…" he said, "she definitely thinks I'm weird…" he thought.

"come on, you've been talking back and forth with me for about three days now, you should master talking with your thoughts already.

"Easier said than done, it's not normal talking to a person using your head you know…"

Yuji looked forward, noticing Yukina glance at him.

"I… really need to master this as soon as possible though,"

After some time, Yuji and Yukina reached the amusement park entrance.

Yuji stood still, stunned at the sight of the entrance.

"This... All I can say is... It's big...." Yuji said, not knowing what would be the right words, as he looked at the massive gate of the amusement park with what seemed to have averagely tall buildings inside.

"Yeah, that's the same reaction I had when I first got here," Yukina said, "despite having those buildings inside, the park is large enough for those buildings to not be a bother for the view,".

"It's... Really different too, I never even thought buildings could be put in amusement parks…"

"Yeah…"

Suddenly, a large holographic dragon flew over the gates going around the park.

"What!?" Yuji said in shock

"Oh, that's a holographic dragon, named Loong," Yukina said, " that dragon pretty much represents this country, it's like a god or something that they worship,".

"I see, so they worship something different here, how about in City A?".

"Like I said before, nothing is like this City," Yukina said, "the culture in City A might have a slight difference from City D, but the religions are pretty much the same,".

"So, this City is just really... Unique, I don't think it's bad though,".

"In fact, that's the reason why this place gains so much money," Yukina said, "because people love to see its uniqueness,".

"I guess not everything different is bad," Yuji said, as a small smile emerged on his face.

"Anyway, why don't we go there first?" Yukina said, pointing at the massive building behind them,".

Yuji turned around and was once again shocked, as he sees the massive building with a large dragon face in the middle as its symbol.

"Is that..." Yuji said.

"That's the mall I said earlier," Yukina said, "this country is very well developed thanks to its large amount of income,".

"I see..." Yuji said, " I wonder how many more buildings are like this in this city,".

"Oh! About that..." Yukina said, "These two are the largest places here in City B,".

"Oh! I see, they placed both of the biggest and best attractions near the wall so that the tourist can have an easier time going there,".

"That's right..." Yukina said with little shock, "you're really sharp aren't you,".

"I thought that was most likely, based on what you said so far," Yuji said.

"Then shall we go?" Yukina said, " I suggest we go to the mall first since we'll be eating there,"

"Sounds good to me,"

And so, the two of them walked to the entrance of the mall.
