Chapter 47

Yuji looked around the area as he emits an impressed and amazed mood, "It's huge,".

"I know right?" Yukina said in agreement, "now then, there are shops here I wanted to stop by, is that ok?" She said.

"You can go explore on your own if you like," Yukina said, "it might be boring for you to stick around shopping with me,".

"Nah, I'd rather go with you than explore alone," Yuji said, "plus if you're going to shop, I might as well check some things out too,".

"I see, don't blame me if you get bored," Yukina said.

"I won't, I'm not that kind of person anyway," Yuji replied.

The two of them walked over to the escalator leading to the second floor of the building, where they soon set foot in front of a certain store.

"Here," Yukina said, going inside.

The store contained a variety of products from house appliances to gadgets.

"Stuffs you buy for houses..." Yuji said, "what are you planning to buy here?" He asked.

"Oh, I'm not buying anything here," Yukina said, "We go a bit more forward and you'll see,".

After a quick walk, they reached another part of the store.

"Clothes shop?" Yuji said, "and from a distance over there, I think I can see a gadgets shop," he said in slight excitement.

"There aren't things like this in city A too," Yukina said, "I had the same reaction when I first went here,"

"I see," Yuji said, looking around at the area with an amazed expression, "maybe all go a and buy a bunch of useful stuff too,".

"Buy all you want, we're sharing the expenses each make today since we're still together after all," Yukina said.

"So, how much budget do we got?" Yuji said.

Yukina then began to slowly walk toward Yuji until she was close enough to his chest.

Yukina raised her feet and puts her hand on the side of her mouth, as she reaches for Yuji's ear.

"Eight hundred thousand..." She whispered.

Yuji was stunned shocked, "Eight... That's a lot..." He said in a low voice.

"So shop all you want, I told you it was worth gathering this much," Yukina said.

"I didn't expect us to get that many though..." He thought.

"So, first things first," Yukina said moving forward, "help me pick some new clothes! Since you're here and all,".

"Sure," Yuji said with a smile, "hopefully this won't take long..." He thought.

And so, the two of them went together looking for clothes that can suit Yukina.

After some time, they both brought a few clothes and went by the dressing room.

As Yukina was changing clothes, Yuji stayed outside waiting for her to come out.

"In the end, I didn't pick anything for her," Yuji thought, "well, it's not like I'm good at picking clothes anyway,".

As Yuji was waiting, he looked around and saw something that took his interest.

Meanwhile, inside the dressing room, Yukina was changing into clothes of her choosing, "this feels nice, and I think it looks nice," she said looking at herself in the mirror as she waves the dress, "I wonder if I'm looking a little fat..."

She presses her hips thinking of her weight, "I'll just ask him," she said, "wait... Isn't this basically like what a couple would do..." She thought as her face became a little red.

Yukina then began to shake her head, "no! It's not like that, I should probably just stop thinking about it like this,".

And just like that, Yukina acted normally.

"Hey Yuji, do I look fat in this?" Yukina said as she went outside the dressing room.

"Tha..." Yuji said as he was taken by surprise at how mesmerizing Yukina looked with her dress.

"Tha?" Yukina said, tilting her head.

"Calm down Yuji, you've been here before," Yuji thought, " just act like that time when Erina did the same,".

And just like that, Yuji acted normally.

"That seems nice, it doesn't look fat on you at all," Yuji said with a smile, regaining his composure.

"Really?" Yukina said.

Yuji nodded, "yep, and it's really cute too,"

"I know right?" Yukina said with a smile, "I'll go check the other clothes now," she said, going back inside the dressing room.

"I did that one right, didn't I?" Yuji thought.

"that's a bit unfair don't you think?" Alicia suddenly spoke, "you used the same line you did with that blond girl before, even though you were so mesmerized by Yukina,"

"stop snooping through my memories!"

"you can't stop me! Hehe,"

"He... Called me cute..." Yukina thought.

Yukina then shook her head again, and this time more vigorously, "no! He's just expressing his opinion on the clothes! This is nothing but a casual interaction with friends!"

As she thought of that, she paused as she went deeper into thought, "friends... Now that I think about it, I'm just someone who saved him and is currently guiding him to City A," she thought, "I'm just... Doing my job,"

"But he's been really easy to get along with ever since," Yukina thought, "aren't we basically friends at this point? Or is he just used to dealing with people... Especially girls..."

She brought out her other clothes as she removed the first one, "I wonder..." She thought.

"Hey, Yuji! How about this one?" Yukina said as she went out of the dressing room.

"Eh!?" Yuji said in shock.

Moments have passed and Yukina went in and out, asking what his opinion was on every clothing she chose.

"I... Didn't expect her to ask me about all the clothes she picked," Yuji mumbled, as he tries to recover from the mental pressure brought to him by Yukina's questions.

Yuji once again glances at the sight he saw earlier, "that last clothes she wore, it was the last one we brought wasn't it?" He thought.

Meanwhile, inside the dressing room, Yukina was changing back to her original clothes.

"I didn't seem to get much info after his reactions..." She thought, "and if anything, else, he seems tired, I must have taken much of our time," she thought as she looked at the wristwatch she brought earlier after entering city B.

She let out a sigh and went outside of the dressing room.

"Yuji?" She said in question, as she sees Yuji holding a dress on a hanger.

"Are you planning on wearing that?" Yukina asked.

"Heck no!" Yuji replied, being bashful, "I thought..." Yuji said, being hesitant to complete his sentence, "I was... Curious about how it would look on you..."

"You... Want me to wear that?" Yukina asked.

"It's just... I was feeling guilty about not being able to suggest anything... Then I saw this and thought it might look nice on you..." Yuji said with a fading voice, still being bashful

Yukina smiled as she took the good-looking dress from Yuji's hand, "sure!" She said, "this dress seems nice, I can't believe I didn't see this earlier," she said as she walked back to the dressing room with a smile on her face.

After changing, Yukina found herself stunned in front of the mirror with a feeling of excitement, as she felt more confident than she had before.

"This dress... Not bad Yuji..." She said.

Then after a short moment, Yukina went out of the dressing room.

"Well?" Yukina said.

Yuji found himself stunned the moment he glanced at Yukina without saying any word.

"Well? Say something?" Yukina said.

"Oh! Sorry!" Yuji said, "it looks great on you, really great!".

"I know right!?" Yukina said with a smile, "nice job finding it,".

"Glad I could help," Yuji said.

And so, Yukina went back inside the dressing room to wear her original clothes, "just a friendly interaction..." She thought, blushing.

"That cloth somehow seemed similar to what Erina wore before," Yuji thought, "I remembered she looked really great on it and that's why I picked it up... I'm glad Yukina seemed to like it,".

Note: Erina searched the store thoroughly to find an awesome dress similar to the one Yuji got in order to impress him.
