Screeech!!
The Mother Bee lets out a loud cry and spawns five Wither Bees in addition to the other three creatures beside her.
"Looks like you called more of your children." Lyrica clenched her fists as she hears the Wither Bees buzzing their wings, surrounding the girl. "I can't tell how many there are, but that doesn't matter to me."
The pack of Wither Bees took the initiative and fire their sting towards the girl. But before those needles could go far out of their butts, Lyrica, swiftly jumps to one of the Wither Bees and surprises the creature with a few powerful punches before sending it down to the surface to deal a killing blow.

Right at that moment, Lyrica hears two Wither Bees coming her way. She starts running towards a wall of wax as the two continue to chase after her. Before she finds herself colliding to the said wall of wax, Lyrica leaps forward and steps right into it, propelling herself towards one of the Wither Bees.
She rams her feet into it, squeezing the creature against the ground before going after the second one. Lyrica bombards the Wither Bee with punches. As soon as the monster appears acting lightheaded, the girl carries it and hammers its head right into the wall of wax that they made themselves.

Without delay, Lyrica goes over to the other Wither Bee whom she incapacitated to the ground, and finishes the job.

After dealing with the first three Wither Bees, Lyrica uses the moment to check out her Heavy Metal music.

Heavy Metal increases durability and coats the Listener in a strong magic barrier that is as hard as metal for 3 minutes.
Lv. 1 -> 2
MP Cost: 6MP in every 20dB used.
CD: 10s
Effects:
> Magic barrier absorbs 15% -> 20% of physical and magical damage received.
> Increases durability by +5 -> +10 in every 10dB used.
Drawbacks:
> A portion of barrier's weight (20dB = 100 kg) no longer affects the Listener, decreasing AGI reduction from 50% to 35%.
> May immobilize the Listener without enough STR to carry the weight.
"I see... it minimizes the effect the weight is giving me, as well as improving the DMG absorption of barrier while also giving me more durability," Lyrica uttered as she tries to catch her breath. "If I can level-up some more, the other Music might get their levels increased, as well."
Soon after swiping the music info off her sight, Lyrica faces the direction where the remaining Wither Bees are.
"Looks like there's a few more out there. That's good."
That's right. Although she can't tell exactly how many there are trying to hide in the dark, there's still a total of six bees, including the Mother Bee. However, after witnessing the deaths of her three children, the Mother Bee immediately told the others to halt for now.
This allowed the girl to go back to where the Mother Bee's honey reside and eat some of it through her fingers.
"It's not like I took any damage, but each time I take some honey for myself, I can feel it recharging my stamina."
The Mother Bee observes the girl in wonder and confusion. They've encountered countless humans before, and they always fall prey easily once they lose the light that lets them see in the dark. But the young girl, the human that's standing casually and eating honey inside their beehive doesn't seem to be getting trouble to move in the dark.
Looking at it, it almost seems like she, too, can see in the dark. But can a human really see in the dark? Perhaps a person with a magic ability that gives oneself night vision could do it. Certainly, Lyrica isn't capable of such a feat.
So then, how is Lyrica capable of moving around in the dark as if she's walking in broad daylight and are effortlessly dealing with the Wither Bees? That answer lies in their noisy, buzzing wings.
"Did you know that if you lose one of the five senses, the other four gets heightened to a degree?" Lyrica uttered out of the blue. "It's what allows people who had lost either one of their five senses to function just like any normal human being. You understand what I'm saying, do you?"
The Mother Bee lets out another scream. A desperate cry to finish off the human signals her children to attack.
But...
"I guess you don't."

"Two of them fired their stings at the same time the other three are coming."
Without needing to see what's coming her way, Lyrica can predict the Wither Bees' movements by the sound of their buzzing wings.
By trying to hear whether the sound they make is increasing in volume, as well as whether she's hearing them from the left ear or right ear, Lyrica can pinpoint where they're coming from as well as how close they all are to her.
'One on each side and another one in the middle.'
Through further focusing her hearing, Lyrica can tell if the Wither Bees fired their sting judging by the slightest change of sound their wings are making.
'The stings are flying at the same speed as the three, and they are beside the one in the middle.'
By doing so, she can picture them and their movements as if they can actually see them coming.
Lyrica goes forward. It almost looks like she's going to collide with them, but nay. The girl swiftly squeezed her way between the two Wither Bees and catches one of the stings that was shot at her.
In that instant, Lyrica throws the sting towards one of the two Wither Bees who shot them. The creature failed to react in time and was struck right on its head. The power of the sting takes effect soon after that.
One of the Wither Bees who fired the sting watches as its sibling's head begins to wither and eventually dies.

The three Wither Bees who failed to land a blow on Lyrica flap their wings and takes a u-turn towards their target. But when they did...

They see a horrifying sight of their fellow Wither Bee being pummeled to the death on the ground. After that, the girl stood up right on top of the lifeless Wither Bee menacingly. Her arms were covered in bodily fluids.
"The problem when you monsters try to attack me head-on is that..."
The three Wither Bees try to go for her one more time, but to their dismay, the girl is fast enough to avoid them. She then used the chance to go back to the center of the beehive and eats honey one more time, allowing her left hand she used to grab the sting earlier to heal and return to its original state.
"When you fly to hit your target with great speed, you cannot maneuver yourselves and could only go straight until the momentum disappeared. And on top of that..."
Without wasting any moment, Lyrica jumps on top of one of the Wither Bees, drags the creature to the surface before ramming her left fist into its head.
"You guys were trying to aim for my head. Even after you failed countless times, you guys keep going for the same thing over and over."

"I thought you insects are intelligent creatures."
Lyrica goes forth to the remaining Wither Bees who turns around to try and attack her one more time. She goes between the two before grabbing the back of both the Wither Bees' heads.
"But I was wrong."
The girl uses her weight and strength to drag the bees down to the surface. Right after that, she throws them towards a wall and then uses both her fist to punch their gut at the same time.
The moment Lyrica grabbed them by their heads, the weakened Wither Bees try to do their last-ditch move by shooting Lyrica with their stings at close range.
Lyrica jumps up and tries to walk over the wall while still holding the creatures' heads. The stings that the girl avoided instead struck the Wither Bees themselves.
"Brainless insects."
Then finally, as the front of the brainless insects begins to wither thanks to their own sting, Lyrica forcefully pulled the Wither Bees' heads out of their bodies.
