"What?!"
Everyone's eyes were attracted on top of the church-like building where a girl can be seen trying to get something out of her left arm in sheer horror.
"Who is... Huh?"
The unknown high commander focused his eyes on Lyrica's school blazer and white shirt, down to her skirt, stockings, and shoes.
"It's gone, finally." A sigh of relief exited the girl's lips. "But it looks like I got everyone's attention."
"That clothing... Hey! You're the one named Lyrica, right?!" Said the high commander in a high voice. "What are you doing here?! Aren't you supposed to be in the capital right now?!"
As much as the high commander is confused as to why he was looking at the girl who's supposed to be in the capital city of Kruule right now, supposedly dead, the people are also confused about who the girl was. For someone like her to be sent to the capital, they thought she's a very important person. They were right, however, the reason behind the girl's importance is far from what they have in mind.
'What is she doing here?' The high commander asked himself in his thoughts. 'She's supposed to be escorted by Gilberto to the capital, at least with her dead body. So what is she doing here?'
"Isn't it obvious?" While glaring menacingly at the high commander from up top, her headphones materialized shortly before her body flickered with red light.

Lyrica descended. Going straight down towards the high commander.
"Ah...!"
The high commander tried to pull out his sword to defend himself against Lyrica. However, it was already too late. Lyrica rammed her fist right in his face.
"Arfhg–!"
"I'm on the run, you fool!"
She sent the high commander crashing to the surface rather helplessly. His back was buried deep against the ground.
"I-Impossible...!"
"She defeated the high commander..."
"...In just one hit?!"
They watched in sheer terror as the girl nonchalantly looted the high commander's seemingly unconscious body, looking for mana potions. Eventually, she managed to pull out a small bottle full of mana from the high commander.
"Only one, huh... Expending 21 MP on you is expensive." She mouthed as she shifted her cold gaze towards the other knights. "You guys better have mana potions on you."
As if they were petrified, the soldiers could do nothing but remain still to where they are currently standing. However, while the girl's attention is on them, the people and the knights witness the high commander slowly and silently getting himself back up.
'You fool, putting your back wide open against me...' He pulled out his sword and poured all of his mana within its blade as he started edging on the girl. '...I'll slice you in half!'
"What an idiot."
"Huh?"
On that split second the high commander froze subconsciously.
Whip!
Lyrica took a stance.
Bam!
And struck the high commander's face with a back roundhouse kick.
"Gurgh!"
The high commander fell back to the ground, to where he belongs. And just when he thought it was over, he turned his body around, facing upward, only for Lyrica to approach him and pressed one of her feet on top of his torso.
"Ackk!!"
"It hasn't been that long, but looking at you reminds me of the very first person I killed and it pisses me off in so many ways." From the palm of her hand, came a ball of fire, waiting for it to be released and engulf the high commander to death. "I'm only asking you this once and I'm not taking a no for an answer. If I spare your life, will you promise not to show your face to this family, to these people, to this kingdom ever again?"
"Y-Y-Yes!" The high commander nodded frantically. "You'll never see my face again, I promise! Don't kill me please!"
Lyrica grabbed the high commander by the neck before throwing him away from her and everyone else.
"Go."
He turned his back on the girl who ruthlessly threw him like a ragdoll. Grasping the dirt as he tried to get back up, the high commander's thinks:
'Who are you to tell me what to do?! B*tch, I bet you just used a trick to kill someone.' The high commander stood up, stealing a glance at Lyrica who's blankly staring at him before moving forward slowly. 'For now, I'll head back to the capital and get myself treated. I'll come back and get what belongs to me. And when I see your face again, I will turn you into my plaything as well.'
As he get himself further and further away, malicious thoughts towards Lyrica sprung out of his mind, all the things he could think of he would do to the girl once he managed to get back at her summoned an evil grin on his face.
"You."
Grab!
Following Lyrica's dead calm voice, the high commander felt a hand grab his right shoulder tightly. When he tried to look, the face of Lyrica glaring at him as the veins popping around her forehead brought him terror.
"W-What?!" He backed away instinctively. "I already promised you'll never see my face again! I'm leaving!"
"You're just like Gilberto."
Bam!
"Ha? Gil–!"
The high commander's eyeballs were almost falling out of their sockets as the girl gave her a hard left directly in his guts.
"You pig!"
Right after that, Lyrica followed him with a couple of strong blows into the high commander's gut before grabbing his face.
"The only thing that makes you different from Gilberto..."
The crowd is speechless as the girl pressed the high commander's head to the ground, making him cry in utter pain.
"... Is that you're bad at hiding it."
Fiery flames enveloped Lyrica's hand. Eventually, it engulfed the high commander who could do nothing but suffer in pain, heat, and suffocation. Right where he was laying down helplessly, the high commander lost his life.

Lyrica took her hand away from the lifeless high commander and stood up. She looked into the sky and let out a deep sigh as if trying to get something out of her mind. Right then, she shifted her gaze towards the other knights and said,
"Your mana potions... Give them to me."
The knights who already lost their morale gave the mana potions in their possession to Lyrica. Right then, she requested them to leave before threatening them that they will share the high commander's fate if they so much even thought of scheming against her.
Lyrica and the crowd watched the soldiers make their exit from the town and disappear into the distance. At that same moment, the girl suddenly fell on her knees, which brought the attention of everyone to her.
Seemingly in a worry, the crowd stared at the girl from all directions. But although they appear concerned, none dared to approach Lyrica. They are afraid that they don't know who she is, and they don't know if she's an enemy or not after killing the high commander before them.
"Well, that's a normal reaction."
