Anino

"If you have time idling like that, why don't you go check up on that man and see if he's still breathing."

Lyrica's half-worn eyes directed everyone at the father who got helplessly beaten up by the knights earlier. His wife hurriedly went by his side.

"Dear, please..."

Through her observation, she found out that her husband is still alive but is breathing raggedly.

"Is there anyone or any place here where we can take him and get him treated?"

Lyrica looked around, but none of the crowd answered her question. She then shifted her gaze to the little girl, the same little girl she first heard screaming from afar. It's clear to Lyrica the worried expression on the little girl's face who doesn't know what to do to help her father in a half-dead state.

She let out a short sigh.

"Hey," Lyrica uttered, calling the little girl.

The little girl sheepishly looked left and right, thinking that the girl called someone else other than her.

"M-Me?"

"I can't stand yet so come here and give this to your father." Lyrica pulled out a bottle of Wither Bee honey. "Your father needs this more than me right now."

Though she's afraid of Lyrica and unsure of what's in the bottle, the little girl eventually gathered the courage to approach the girl in strange attire and a red scarf and took the bottle in her hand. She went to her mother as fast as she could, handing the bottle over to her.

"It's a honey of a Wither Bee, a Mother Bee to be exact." Lyrica mouthed after seeing the mother giving the bottle a confused stare. "I assume you already know what it can do."

The mother leaned on her husband, holding the bottle she opened close to the father's mouth.

"Dear, open your mouth. Drink it."

Seemingly conscious enough to hear his wife, the little girl's father gently open his mouth after his wife carefully lifted his head with her hand. Lyrica watched the woman pour the honey bee into the man's mouth.

Gulp... Gulp...

Although she doesn't show it, Lyrica felt a sense of relief as the man's body slowly healed up. On the other hand, the crowd and the father's family were rendered shocked by the miracle.

"I–I am healed?"

The man who is close to his death, finally opened his eyes wide and saw his wife and three daughters burst into tears.

"I'm glad... I don't know what I would do if you die, dear!"

"Father!"

While the mother wiped her tears away in utter relief, the little girl went and gave her father a tight embrace after getting himself in a sitting posture.

"Woah...!"

The little girl suddenly tackling her father caught him by surprise. He gave her a light peck on her forehead before he hugged her back.

"I'm glad you're all right." While caressing his child's hair, the father turned his head towards Lyrica. "I don't know who you are, but thank you very much."

"Hah. I don't need any thanks right now." She replied. "But, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me why the town is in this current state."

At first glance, it seemed like the town of Kabba was swept by a huge storm, but what kind of storm exactly? This got Lyrica curious so much that she completely disregard the fact that she's on the run currently.

"Before we say anything..." The little girl's mother interjected. "... Do you mind if you tell us your name and where you came from?"

"Ah, that's right, I haven't introduced myself yet." Lyrica stood up after finally regaining her strength a moment ago. "I'm Lyrica, Lyrica Ley Rael. I came from another world, but I've been to the town of Takkot until this morning."

"Wait, did I hear that right? You said you came from another world?"

Lyrica firmly nodded, following the crowd's curious question. Moreover, she knew what the people are about to ask again. That said, she went ahead and told everyone, "I know what you're all thinking, but I am not one of the rumored four heroes. No, wait, let me rephrase that."

Lyrica halted with a short pause before continuing to speak.

"I am not one of the four heroes, but they are, indeed, real."

Lyrica thought revealing that the four heroes are real would shock the people of Kabba, albeit the blank expression on their faces due to what the Hari did to them is something she already expected. But then, the mother went and said,

"We know you're not one of them. That's because we've seen them before."

"You saw their faces?"

Lyrica found herself surprised by the woman's words instead.

"We didn't just see their faces, we also saw one of them turn into an Anino who fought king Uruk which led to the destruction of our town."

Lyrica's eyebrows curled up. "Ha? An Anino?"
