THE HAUNTED CHILD

Mrs. Lois made her leave as Marvel's mum saw her off to her car while they chatted.


"What was that all about? Why did you lie to your husband that your child had a terminal illness when she was a baby?


Why did you lie to him about the delivery? What's going on because I don't understand everything that happened in there few hours ago." Mrs. Lois asked Mary when they were out of the house and the hearing of everyone.


"Hmm...it's not easy for me to keep this secret to myself." She explained but in a parabolic manner.


"Promise me that no one will hear about this, not my husband, not my daughter or anyone please." Mary asked her to keep her word to herself alone.


"Okay, I do...what's it?" Mrs. Lois asked Mary, curious to know what the secret was all about.


"You know that Marvel is my daughter right?" She asked her.


"My husband doesn't know about it." Mary replied.
