CHAPTER 54

The priest started after he had cleared his throat several times as though he had something important to say.

"Concerning the peace and the well being of this family, I deem it fit to visit and pray for you." He replied.

Mary heaved a sigh of relief gently as she felt relieved that it wasn't about her or her daughter but a general case which no one even knew the root of it.

"Thank you pastor but you could have just called us to the church and we'd have come right away rather than you taking ths stress to come and pray for us." Martins answered to what the priest gas just said.

"If I let you to come then who will pray over the house and cleanse it from evil spirits and doom?" The priest asked.

"Sorry to say but this house houses no evil spirits." Mary replied and her husband nodded in support of what she had just said.
