THE HAUNTED CHILD

The priest's body that was stiffened by some unknown powers became free as he immediately turned to see who it was but there was no one at the door.


He got down immediately from Mary even before she could muster up the little strength that she had in her to push him away from her.


The priest put on his clothes and Mary did same too and they both left the room in fear that some ghosts watched them and might attack them at any given time.


The rush in their speed as they got down drew the attention of Martins, Pete and Marvel who has joined them downstairs with the cleansing as the loudness of their prayers stopped her from sleeping.


They were half dressed especially for the priest who wore his robe upside down and the trouser in the wrong direction. Now that called for explanation to everyone in the house as to why they were dressed that way.


"What's going on?" Martins asked as he was the only one that had the full right and fury to ask.
