Special: Samantha and Himei

"Don't you think that girl is weird?" Siren said.

"Who?" I asked.

"There," she said and pointed to Pauline.

'We didn't know each other yet so here we are.

This is Samantha btw, just to make sure you know,

We're friends now, and I think she's really cool.

Anyway, let's get back to it.'

"Why would you say that?" I asked.

"Haven't you noticed?" Banshee said, "she's always walking alone, eating alone, like she doesn't even have friends."

"Why would that be weird?" I asked again.

"Just look at her!" She said again.

"Maybe she really doesn't have any friends,"

"Isn't that kind of sad?" Himei said.

"What do you mean Himei? She's a nobody," Mandragora said.

"Aren't we all?" I said.

Everyone laughs.

"You're joking, right?" Siren said.

"I don't think you girls are the "talk of the town" here," I said.

"Tch- you clearly don't know us," she said again.

"I don't understand why Himei and you are dating,"

"You're just making me mad,"

"Don't listen to them," Himei said, "I think you're really nice!" She said and smiled.

"You're nice too, sometimes," I responded.

"Sometimes?" She asked.

"You do know spreading false rumors isn't really nice, right?" I said.

"That's none of your business,"

"You're making those rumors about someone, that you don't even know, for no apparent reason,"

"Yeah, so?"

"I try to stop you, then you say it's none of my business,"

"That's right,"

"Mind your own business," the other girls said.

"Fine, do what you want," I said.

"Let's see what happens to you after all this," I said before leaving.

"Wait!" Himei said.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Back to the classroom, there are still classes anyway,"

"I'll come with," she said

"Nah, I know where I'm going, just do what you're doing now,"

"But, I want to do it with you," she said.

"Do what? Ruin someone else's life? No thanks,"

"No, I'll stop, I promise,"

"The heck are you talking about, you said earlier that I should mind my own business,"

"That was... Just a joke," she said and smiles awkwardly.

I didn't bother her and got going.

"Wait--,"

"Himei, don't mind her," Siren said.

"That nagger is finally gone!" Banshee said.

"That girl really ticks me," Mandragora said.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys!" Himei said and starts to leave as well.

"You're not gonna stop her, Siren?" Banshee asked.

"4 is a crowd, we're better this way, and I think that Samantha rubbed on some of her nagging on Himei,"

"That sounds weird," Mandragora said.

"YOU KNOW WHAT I MEANT!" she angrily said.

"Why am I even hanging out with those girls," I said to myself.

"Samantha...,"

"What are you doing here?"

"This is also my classroom,"

"I mean, what are you doing here so early, I thought you were hanging out with your friends,"

"Samantha,"

"They're your friends too,"

"Friends? Those three?" I said.

"I'd be better of not being friends with them,"

"Samantha, I'm sorry, I should've been more considerate about your opinions,"

"That's weird, you never really bothered listening to what I wanted to say,"

"And you'd completely do the opposite of what I would say,"

"And now you're saying sorry?"

I laugh

"If there's someone that you would apologize to, it should be that girl,"

"I know about what you did,"

"What are you talking about Samantha?"

"Don't play dumb, a rumor spread about her streaking in school,"

"Don't tell me that it wasn't you who started that,"

"Why do you always care about that girl? I thought I'm your girlfriend?" She said.

"Oh, just because you're my girlfriend means I tolerate all the bullshit that you do,"

"That girl is just trying to make friends and what you do is get her embarrassed,"

"And I'm really impressed actually, about how you spread that rumor because there's no actual way that something like streaking would spread out if the people actually saw it,"

"There was a streaker, but they never knew who she was,"

"So you decided to blame her?"

"I don't even know why we ended up together, you're disgusting," I said.

Himei starts crying.

"I was just jealous of her,"

"Jealous? Jealous why?"

"You always talk about her,"

"What do you mean, talk about her? I'm trying to defend someone who doesn't even know that she's being insulted,"

"Just go back to your friends and cry about it, I can't even stand looking at you right now," I said.

She runs away, crying.

*Present day, lunchtime

"Hey Samantha, you wanna grab lunch?" Pauline asked.

"Why don't you go on ahead, I just need to go somewhere,"

"Okay! You want me to order for you?" She asked.

"I'll order once I get there, just save me a seat,"

"Okay, see ya!" She said and went to the cafeteria.

"Samantha...," Someone called.

"Oh, Himei,"

"About, what happened, between us...,"

"Oh, that,"

"Are you still mad at me?" she asked.

"I wasn't really mad, I was just disappointed,"

"Oh," she said, her eyes starting to get teary.

"H-hey, don't cry, that was before,"

"I'm actually glad you're bettering yourself now, "

"So, you're not mad anymore?"

"No, I'm happy to see this change in you," I said and smiled at her.

She bursts into tears,

"Thank you, Samantha," she said and starts hugging me.

"H-Hey, I told you it's fine,"

I hug her back.

"I just *sniff* just thought that *sniff* you hated me," she said, still crying.

"I never hated you, Himei," I said.

Himei starts wiping her tears.

"Hehe, sorry for all of that," She said.

"It's okay,"

"Do you want to eat with me and Pauline?" I asked.

"That would be nice," she said,

"But, I still have to do something,"

"Oh, I see,"

"Let's just meet later," Himei said.

"Yep, see ya then!"

"Yeah, see ya!"
