Hell's Rules

Aisha.

"This place is huge" she commented with surprise as we flew over part of hell.

"That's thanks to the humans, I must admit. So many people come here that it has been necessary to make extensions."

"I would say that I am not surprised."

He only uses his mind to lift me up with him, it gives me an idea of how powerful he is. I see his profile, his marked jaw makes him look imposing, his dark complexion looks smooth, without any imperfections, his lips are thin but tempting, it makes you think of all the things he could do with them. Her hair is curly, dark brown, just like his eyes. His ears are small, giving a touch of greater delicacy to his face, his nose turned up makes him look like a god, everything is incredibly beautiful, his body is not left behind.

His hands are incredible; you can see his marked veins, as if he were exercising for hours; just by seeing his hands you get an idea of how his arm is, very strong, even though he wears a black shirt with buttons, you notice his chest muscles. I remember the smile he directed at me recently, even though it was mocking, little ears formed on his cheeks and his eyes became narrower, his teeth were perfectly aligned and as white as snow.

I wonder what his tongue looks like...

"Could you stop staring at me like that?" he says, startling me and making me realize that I have been staring at him for quite some time now.

"I'm sorry" I don't know if souls can blush under my face, but I'm sure that if that's the case, I'm like a tomato right now.

"Do you like what you see?"

I snort and roll my eyes.

"I just found out that you are the son of the Devil, I think it's just for me to be a little surprised and curious."

"Do you want to know why hell is so hot? Very simply, it's because I'm down here."

I try to fight the silly smile that threatens to take over my face. Just a few minutes ago I was alive, living with humans and everything was normal, now I'm in hell and I realize that demons are the sexiest creatures on the planet.

So much to process.

"I see that you are very sober" I comment.

"I'm just honest" he shrugs. "It's funny how humans get so carried away by appearances."

"What do you mean?" I raise an eyebrow.

"You said it yourself, you just found out that I am the son of the Devil, yet you are violating me with your eyes. Your human instincts are still too present. In time you will notice how weak they made you."

"Apparently, you hate humans."

"They are so insignificant that they are not even useful to be hated."

"Have you ever killed one?"

He seems to meditate for a few seconds before responding.

"Some of them" he adds finally. "But they are a waste of time. They are like cockroaches, you chase them and they run in every direction, panicky prisoners.Their screams are pleasant, I must admit."

"You are very twisted" I grimace.

"Thank you."

Silence.

For someone with a lot of stories to tell, he's not much of a talker.

"How old are you?"

"Enough questions, you talk too much."

We started to descend and stood in front of a glass building. Hell is quite similar to a city that is too modern in some places, while in others it seems to be many millennia old. I can't even see the tip of the building, its height is too much.

Everette enters and I rush to catch up with her, the truth is that being alone terrifies me.

Several people bow as he passes by, I keep my head down and follow him through a corridor that seems to go down. We enter a room full of candles, there are several black velvet armchairs and the ones there are holding crystal glasses.

"What a pleasant surprise" a velvety voice is heard behind us. "Hello, Everette."

He turns around and on his lips for the first time I see a different smile, not sarcastic, nor malicious, nor mocking.

A mischievous smile.

"Shameena" he says, in the form of a greeting as he looks up and down at her in a lustful way.

"It's been a long time since you've been here" she says, raising an eyebrow.

Shameena has a light complexion, her straight brown hair reaches her back, her body seems to have been sculpted by the best artists in history, her expression seems sweet, but at the bottom of her brown eyes you can distinguish cunning and malice shining through. She wears a kind of golden tunic and is adorned with jewels of what appears to be gold and rubies. Her medium-thick lips form a slightly pleased smile and do not hide for a second her obvious attraction to Everette.

"You know, business with my father" he answers simply, always keeping that mysterious air by not revealing more than necessary.

"The good dark master" she nods. "What can I do for you?"

I notice the double meaning in her words.

"I need your help with this" Everette's eyes are on me, and for a slight second I feel exposed under his cold gaze.

Shameena looks at me for the first time since we arrived at the site, she walks around with her eyes and grimaces in disgust.

"It stinks" she complains.

I back off and Everette laughs.

"She is my new human soul, she will become a demon."

She laughs in disbelief.

"Wow, I didn't know expectations had fallen so low for her to become a demon."

Everette's gaze grows heavier.

"I asked for your help, not your opinion" he reminds her.

She laughs, and seems to be used to Everette's changing mood.

"Very well. What do you want?"

"I need you to teach her the dark arts." he says.

She looks at me with grace.

"I don't think she's ready for that." She comes up to me and grabs my hair like a snotty cloth. "She's not even a born evil entity, she's not a demon yet."

He watches me for a few seconds, without any expression on his face.

"You're right, she still reeks of human.Take care of her appearance and make sure she learns the rules of hell."

She sighs, clearly not wanting to help me one bit, but Everette doesn't seem to be someone you can say no to.

"Very well."

He smiles contentedly and turns to me.

"I'll be back soon" he turns to leave, but panic sets in, so I grab his arm to hold him. He turns and pulls his arm away sharply, as if my touch were burning. "I ordered you not to touch me."

"You can't leave me here" I plead, staring at the place in fear.

Several of the people present are looking at me indignantly as they see that I do not treat Everette with respect, but he just rolls his eyes.

"You'll be fine, this is a high class place, nobody devours souls. Or at least I don't think so."

"I'm still a soul!" I scream in terror. "Please don't go, I beg you."

He stares at my face with an impatient gesture and materializes in his hand a golden chain with a golden snake.

"Here, wear this" he comes dangerously close, his chest collides with mine, so I try to back away but he stops me, he pulls my hair out and puts the chain on me, then he walks away. "So everyone will know you are mine, no one will hurt you."

I watch him in surprise and I caress the little snake that is on my neck.

"Thank you" I tell him sincerely.

He rolls his eyes for the thousandth time and sighs.

"It's so that you hush at once, you embarrass me" he says, and then he approaches Shameena. "Thank you for your help. May the darkness be in your path."

"And guide my destiny."

Having said this, she moves away from the crowd and I stay with Shameena.

"What will you do with me?" I wonder if she is just watching me like an insect.

"I would like to throw you into an abyss, but you are the property of someone who could destroy me just by breathing." recognizes. "First of all, we will change your clothes, you look ridiculous."

She turns and walks followed by me, down another corridor with a dim light, we turn and go down more and more until we reach a room full of clothes and fabrics of different shades.

"Wow..." I whisper in amaze.

"Come in and try on what I tell you, in the meantime I will tell you the most basic rules of hell."

"Okay" I mean to go into a kind of dressing room, it has a huge mirror, it's incredibly big, it covers a big part of the wall, which is also gigantic.

She throws a long dress at me, it's made of silver fabric, slightly transparent, like satin, it's tight on my breasts and loose after that. I begin to shed the white dress I'm wearing.

"Number one..." begins. "Never get closer than necessary to the river of lost souls, actually, try not to stare at it."

"Why is that?" I ask, passing the fabric of the dress over my head, it slides perfectly and fits my body.

"It is a trap to detect the weak, I myself feel great difficulty to be close, the souls inside hypnotize you and once inside, you will never come out."

I come out of the fitting room and she evaluates me.

"Done" I inform her.

"I suppose that one will be all right" she nods in agreement "Number two" she continues. "You have to have total respect for the Haylel family, which you don't."

I make a confused gesture.

"Who are they?"

She rolls her eyes as if she has never heard such a stupid question in her life.

"Everette and his father, the leaders of hell."

"But he's an asshole" I assure her.

"Everette is not a jerk, it's just that you are used to being treated like a queen, here it will not be like that, if you want that kind of treatment you must earn it, as well as I did." smiles proudly.

"Are you powerful?" the idea that she has a greater strength than mine scares me, makes me feel that at any moment she will finish with me.

"Number three" ignore my question and continue. "Be loyal to your owner."

"This thing about Everette being my owner is stupid."

"Number four" She's approaching me threateningly. "Learn to keep your mouth shut."

I blink my eyes and sit down.

"I understand." I murmur self-consciously.

"Number five" walks away and slowly walks around the room showing off her legs. "Don't feel love."

"That cannot be considered a rule."

"Do you think I would joke with you? All I want is for you to leave, the sooner we finish, the sooner you will leave."

"Everyone here is so nice." I'm being sarcastic.

"Number six." she continues "Find your place in hell."

"My place?" I wonder without understanding,

"So here they are" Everette comes into the room and watches me. "Wow, dressed like that you almost look like you have a decent presence."

"Thanks?" I squint in confusion as I tilt my head a little to the right.

"Time to go, see you soon Shameena."

"I'm counting on it." she smiles flirtatiously. "May the darkness be in your path."

"And guide my destiny."

He walks out of the room and I chase him.

"What kind of spirit is she?" I ask him.

"A demon of seduction." he turns and looks at me reproachfully. "Don't call a demon spirit, we are much more powerful than they are."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know there was a difference."

"Of course there is. Demons are the possessors of darkness."

"What does a demon of seduction do?"

He turns his back on me and continues to walk.

"It has the ability to know what the desires of those around it are, then it seduces the one it desires and manages to do what it pleases with them."

"What kind of demon are you? "

He doesn't answer, he just walks until he leaves the glass building and continues until we are left in some kind of labyrinth, as if this place wasn't already.

"There is a very special place for me in hell. It is called the throne."

At that moment, I felt how much power was emanating from his body, I felt how powerful he was, I felt sorry for anyone who crossed his path.
