The Visitor

Aisha.

After escaping from Lilith's lands, Everette decided to show me some parts of Hell that I didn't know before, to finally reach the top of a mountain, just where we were when I had just become her soul, downwards you can see a great part of Hell.

"All this is my kingdom." he assures me with his eyes fixed on the landscape, I can notice the pride tone he uses, then turns in my direction and smiles with his usual malice. "I can give you anything you want just by snapping my fingers, the only thing you have to do in return is to be completely mine." he moves a little closer and lifts my chin so that our gazes connect. "Can you?"

Is he asking me?

I mean, officially?

He, who is the most narcissistic being that ever existed, he is pretentious and arrogant, completely sadistic and lustful, is formally asking me if I can be his, if I can be the owner of those eyes, that smile, those dimples, that body, of all the evil that he understands. Visually he is just a dream come true...

But despite that, the evil that possesses his being can be quite intimidating.

He is just letting go, just allowing the mark to connect us and accepting our destiny.

And I should do the same...

There is just no pint in opposing what can't be helped.

"Yes." I murmur with a big smile. "I will be yours."

He smiles once more and tilts his face sideways with an unusually innocent expression, which could fool anyone.

"I am well aware that my temperament is not the best, and I am still new to all this thinking about someone who goes beyond my existence, so I warn you that we will argue a lot. But I am willing to believe hat the mark makes us thing we feel." his nose brushes mine. "Many times I will be wrong and you will hate me as much as you want me."

"Well, I'm also kind of hard to deal with." I joke to which he chuckles under his breath.

"Yes, you are definitely very annoying, fragile, capricious and infuriating."

"And yet you are still willing to love me." I ask flirtatiously.

I notice how his body tenses, I know it's very difficult for him to say that, and just when I'm about to tell him it's just a joke, he takes possession of my lips with sensuality, bites the bottom one before pulling away.

"I am still willing to love you." he confirms. "But don't make me say it again, it makes me sick."

"I love it when you say that..." I bite my lip, which burns a little because he bit it himself just now.

"Yes? Well, don't get used to it, every time I say it, I feel the evil escape from my body." he grimaces in disgust, which makes me burst out laughing.

I put my arms around the back of his neck and dare to kiss him for a few seconds.

"Don't worry, if you love me it means you'll be selfish and won't let me be with anyone else, that makes you very bad." I encourage him.

He laughs and denies.

"You're right, I can use my love for you as an excuse to tear apart as many souls as I want without explaining myself to my father. "

Just as he utters this last word, his brow furrows and his gaze falls on Hell.

"What's wrong?" I ask when I see his sudden serious expression.

(...)

Apparently just at the moment when Everette thought of about his father, Diablo whispered in his thoughts that he needed to see him immediately, so we were transported at that moment to Lucifer's palace, which I had not entered before, the amount of statues of humans in agony is impressive.

I walk hand in hand with Everette until we enter a huge hall, in the background I can distinguish the figure of Diablo, sitting relaxed on his throne, while another man is standing in front of him and pacing back and forth annoyed.

"Well, this should be interesting." he murmurs and then lets go of my hand and takes a few steps in front of me. "Aladiah!" he exclaims mockingly.

The man turns around when he hears it and I am stunned looking at his face, it is almost as if light emanates from him, this man is not a demon....

"Everette." he replies in a formal but irritated tone. "I am pleased to see that you have been able to come to your father's call, we need to talk." he says.

Everette lets out a laugh and walks beside her and then up the steps to his father's throne, who is clearly struggling to contain his laughter. Demons really have no respect for anyone but them.

"Tell me, what do all the saints count?" he asks, looking at him arrogantly.

I open my eyes stunned and decide to take a few steps back to give them privacy, Everette notices my reaction and denies slyly, so I sigh and stay in my place paying close attention to all of their movements.

"We are grateful to see that the demonic people are making progress." Aladiah makes a forced bow. "However, we have a problem with your people."

"I'm all ears." Everette opens his eyes with false emotion.

"We know you have it, we beg you to rectify this situation."

Diablo lets out a weak laugh and Aladiah looks at him evidently indignant.

"I had no idea that our people had committed a fault against yours, I don't know what it was, but I don't regret it at all." Everette laughs in his face.

This seems to fill his patience, because from one second to the next, he spreads a pair of huge, snow-white wings and rises to his level, then walks the remaining steps and looks at him in a way that would make anyone tremble.

Anyone but the Haylel family, king and prince of Hell. Dark entities that have watch the most terrifying things in existence and found them pleasant enough to keep the in Hell.

"You know what you did!" he retorts angrily.

Everette smiles mischievously.

"Actually no, I have no idea what do you mean right now, but whatever it is, it seems to irritate you a lot." he mocks.

"Return us our Celestial!" commands the archangel.
