As Ryan was lost in his own thoughts, he didn't notice that incoming attack coming from Edimir and it was too late for him to dodge.

He braced himself for the pain that would inflict on him as he duck down his head and closed his eyes for the impact.

But after some minutes had passed, there is no pain that he felt.

He frown as he lift his head and opened his eyes to see what is happening.

The chestnut-haired man saw who deflected the attack and he saw Jeffrey standing in front of him as he was the one who clashed with Edimir's sword.

"D-don't just dawdle there! Do something!"

Ryan snapped on his daze as he heard Jeffrey shout at him and he looked at the auburn-haired man as he fights against Edimir.

'Where's Scarlette? I thought he is keeping her safe?'
