After a worldwide pandemic strikes his town, Desir Snow was forced to work from home in the safety of his one-room apartment. In the beginning, everything was good for the twenty-six-year-old computer programmer. A natural loner, Desir relished in the confined life. He no longer needed to socialise, his meddlesome friend was banned from visiting, and Desir could enjoy the things he loved the most.
However, when his beautiful next-door neighbour collapsed right in front of his door a week into the lockdowns, Desir’s life was flung into a direction that he could never have imagined.

I'm writing this novel with Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken as inspiration. So if you like that novel, I you'll probably like this one :)

Hi, this is the author here! I'm writing this novel as a way to practice writing from the first-person perspective. This novel is inspired by Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken and I also wanted to add a little spin to it, mainly the pandemic life. I hope you enjoy the novel!
If you are looking for a romance and slice-of-life story, you have come to the right place. Angel in the Pandemic is a great story that starts off with an event that changes Desir Snow's and Althea Kong's lives. Through this event we are able to see great character development and insanely good character design. Author Snow does a great job of creating the characters' personalities and backgrounds. The conversations feel so real and the descriptions of emotions make it feel even more real. The story flows in a very smooth manner and does not feel repetitive. You will be able to see a significant change in our couple's personalities and lifestyle by the time you are caught up with the latest chapter. There are basically no grammatical errors. I believe I only spotted one typo and that was it. Updates are every other day or 4 ch/week. Overall, I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a fluffy, chill book to read!
This book is lovely! Fluffy and all... Honestly, the way that they author express the characters it's incredible. Each one of them had their own uniqueness and their personalities are portrayed very well by his writing. The story itself has a good pace, and it's enough to maintain the immersion without break the concentration. Overall, I loved it, I recommend it and it should have more recognition.
I really love this story, it's quiet, funny and what made me like it the most are the really cool and well-developed characters.
I have also read the novel you have taken inspiration from and I must say the quality of your novel matches my expectations. Really good. Awesome novel. Keep it up! Also do try to not go down the path of that novel where plot development was basically almost gone towards the end. Though fluff always keeps you hooked I guess 😃
