Chapter 26: New Information

~Tatsumi POV~

When we finally arrived at the previous location in the forest area of Elsa and Meili were waiting for our spot.

As we arrived, I open up the [Dark Space] to bring out Geuse in the open while Elsa and Meili were on guard while I raised my hand to them to stop.

Looking at the guy he still looks pretty much gross and the smell is certainly awful but…

Glancing over to Beatrice I see that she is a bit concern then I hear Echidna respond to me in a sad voice, 'Geuse… I didn't expect someone like him to be under madness for the last 400 years last I saw him he was a normal fellow and someone I could consider an acquaintance of sorts leaving him to teach Beatrice of manners.'

Really?

Talking to Echidna in my head I asked a few questions of who Geuse was in a curious voice, 'Really? Say Echidna how did Geuse manage to befriend you in the past anyway?'

Echidna was quick to respond to me in an awkward voice that was a new one, 'Well I guess I wouldn't say we were friends more in the lines of acquaintance since he has been guarding the Elior Forest and happens to cross to Sanctuary territory it wouldn't be odd for him to travel in that area.'

Next, I ask Echidna more about what she meant what Geuse does in the elf territory, 'From what I was aware from my time 400 years ago Geuse was from the moderate faction that does good for people following Flugel words at the time he always brings supplies to the elf village in Elior Forest with other Cultsist although he was one of the founding members don't know much after that.'

Interesting I know from the show it never really explained much about the moderate faction of the group but more so the radical faction with Regulus and Pandora leading the charge.

But it would explain a lot by destroying their own rebels in their group but Pandora on the other hand…

She is very dangerous to handle.

With her [Authority of Vainglory] she would make a horrible threat to deal with against me.

So long as I can't touch her with my Darkness and herself resurrection ability it would be very difficult to defeat.

Shaking my head, I see that Geuse is starting to wake up as he looks at not me but Beatrice with a normal look on him, "Ugh… where am I…? Beatrice? How… long has it been… no just how long was I out…"

Beatrice looks at Geuse with no madness in his eyes anymore only a normal-looking form well as normal it's going to get anyway.

Beatrice asks the question while Elsa and Meili stay behind me while viewing the scene before us, "Geuse… what happen to you… for the last 100 years, I have been hearing your name under the radical faction of the Witch Cultist and what happen during the Eilor Forest with the elves being frozen…"

Geuse looks confused about what Betty meant as he was able to speak more clearly about what happened, "What…? No… wait… I remember Fortuna, Emilia, and…"

However, seeing his eyes now looks enraged well it seems to me that he starting to remember about his past now with his fist clench drawing blood.

Next, I hear Echidna says to me in a curious voice with a hint of concern, 'Interesting, it looks like that Geuse is having some difficulty remembering during his time under his reign of madness it has been 100 years from recalling your memory Tatsumi.'

Agreeing with Echidna yeah, I don't what happened to Geuse during his time as the Sin Archbishops of Sloth, but it seems to me he's getting his sense back together.

Seeing as Guese is remaining quiet about all of this I began to walk forward to him as I ask him a question in a gentle tone, "Geuse… former Sin Archbishop of Sloth and friends of Emilia and Fortuna I'm Tatsumi it's a pleasure to meet you."

Geuse seeing me seems to recall our earlier encounter as he hesitantly gets up again by himself as he asks me with a clear hint of fear in his voice, "Yes… I seem to recall that you managed to take my Authority from our earlier encounter but thank you for a wakeup call, sir Tatsumi."

Nodding my head, I ask him what was his plans for the next following days since he has been woken up, "So then Geuse what exactly are you going to do now that you have your conscious again from being crazy? Are you interested in joining my group eliminating the Sin Archbishops from harming anyone else?"

Geuse had thought from the way his face is thinking but soon answers me with a frown on his face as he spoke, "Hmm… I may have been a Sin Archbishop myself I have always not wanted to harm people only help while I was under the moderate faction but ever since the attack of those two… tell me Tatsumi what would you gain from doing this."

Well, that was a fair question, so I answered him the same answers I said to Puck with the others listening.

Geuse was skeptical about it but once it was confirmed by Beatrice he could only accept it as the truth but then he surprises me by asking in a serious voice, "I see… very well then I will accept to join you as well Tatsumi but I'm afraid with my 'well' known appearance I would be a hindrance to you it would cause a problem to you…"

Shaking my head I merely smirked at him as I began to tell him of our next hunt which surprised him that I was this bold, "I wouldn't worry about that actually pretty soon the Sin Archbishop of Lust Capella is coming over to the Eilor Forest to punish Elsa and Meili but as soon as she enters I will be able to deal with her having her powers nullified by my power as well as steal her Authority and by then I will give you a new look since your current one stinks."

Geuse actually looked embarrassed about that and please don't it's creepy as hell man.

But after that Beatrice goes over to Geuse with a smile on her face as she speaks to him in a happy voice, "Still it's good to have you back Geuse… I really missed your teaching lessons I suppose."

Geuse managed to smile at this but now that we have him as an ally, I decided to ask him the questions about the other Sin Archbishops but importantly their church as well.

After all, Geuse was an important member of their group since he also knows the rest of them so there is no doubt that he knows vital information about the rest.

So I asked him in a serious voice to him match my expression, "Ok then Geuse can you tell me where are the other Sin Archbishops are at, where do they live, what are their plans, and most importantly where I can find one of The Three Demon Beasts."

This was certainly going to be a long day for me once Geuse started to spill out what he knows about the enemy…

After my discussion with Geuse, it was already nighttime as everyone already set up creating a camp with Meili using her [Divine Protection] to command the hornless to handle the protection while Betty is enjoying Geuse company while Elsa is enjoying Meili company.

But the information…

Smiling at this it was a wise idea to get Geuse on my side.

Holding out my hand what I hold was Geuse [Gospel] detailing the events that will happen if he were to follow it…

The [Gospel] gave me plenty of answers and from Geuse himself for that matter as well telling me where each Archbishop would be located at.

Especially the Sin Archbishop of Greed home Regulus is somewhere in the Kingdom of Lugnica forest area that resides in the Kingdom of Luginca faraway from the Kararagi lands.

Kararagi is presumably the country farthest to the west, bordering the Kingdom of Lugnica on its east, with Vollachia to its Southeast, and Gusteko along its Northeastern border and the Lugnican city of Priestella borders Kararagi on the eastern border just across the Tigracy River, and thus shares a unique cultural bond with the region.

Presumably, around the same latitude as Lugnica, the territory supports temperate to sub-tropical climates and Ligers, a mammalian animal similar to can be commonly found in the region and as such have been domesticated in the same way ground-dragons have been in Lugnica.

Sounds to me is that where I can find Regulus there in his home is just outside the town far away from his home.

As for finding Gluttony.

From what Geuse has provided me it seems to be the one that is with the White Whale is the one of the Sin Archbishops of Gluttony Lye is currently at the edge of the world with the White Whale.

According to Geuse the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony Lye was so fond of the Whale that he considered it a pet that whenever the Hakugei wasn't being used by the Cult, it would rest in the Great Waterfall located at the edge of the world.

Seems to me I found another target to get rid of in the process and one world menace to take care of.

But I should be careful all the same against him since he has eaten the memories and experiences of others throughout his years.

And his memory eating ability will be hard to defeat but unfortunately for him, I'm just a hard counter against him.

For his Authority to work he needs to know the true name for it to work but that is not going to work for me since I go by two true names Tatsumi or Jason so if he eats one of them it won't harm me much.

Since both those names are already filled with both my pieces of knowledge of both worlds so even if he did eat my name it won't help him much.

Well, it's no use worrying about it now since I have about 5 days remaining to meet up with Capella and I can get the rest of the two simples as that now I know their locations.

It will be a matter of time to defeat them.

Since I'm in a good mood the next target should be Greed so I can complete my Authority of Greed.

With that I closed my eyes sleeping in the bed I stole from Rosswaal inside the tent preparing to hunt down Regulus.
