Third Person Point of View

Shawna was anxious as she walked towards the meeting place with her friends. She doesn't know how come the book they will use is missing when she is clearly sure that she hid it well. It was not in her grandmother's old trunk.

Her friends will surely be angry with her. She even boasted that it was really well hidden. She even gets mad at his housemates because she thought they have the book but they did not have the book. She just doesn't know if they were telling the truth or maybe they're just lying.

"Guys-" Shawna called but she stopped when she saw Briseis. Its long hair is loose. She was wearing a long black dress.

"What made you dumb?" Briseis asked here. It sat on the boulder in front of the abandoned building.

"Nothing. I'm just surprised at what you're wearing," Shawna said to her.

"Why? Have you just seen a black dress for the first time?" Briseis asked her.

Shawna winced. Briseis was wearing an old fashion dress and looked like a witch in ancient times.

"Not really," Shawna said. "You look like a cult in your clothes. You take the ritual too seriously."

"What do you think of the ritual? Something that can be played?" Briseis asked her. "It's not a toy you can just leave alone when you are sick of it. What you started, you must finish."

Shawna was devastated by what she said.

"Aren't they here yet?" Shawna asked trying to divert the conversation.

"Only Kyle is here," Briseis replied to her.

"Huh?" Shawna asked in shock. "What is Kyle doing here?"

"You'll see later what he's good for," Briseis replied.

"What if he reports us?" Shawna asked. "I know he likes you but maybe later he'll report us when he finds out that we took the book!"

"Don't worry. He won't be able to report anymore," Briseis replied.

"I doubt but anyway," said Shawna. "I have bad news about the book. I'm really sorry because I know that I hid the book in the trunk but it wasn't there now. I don't know who took it."

Shawna bit her lip so hard. Briseis, on the other hand, took the small black bag with only the strap on.

From there she pulled out the book Shawna was looking for.

Shawna immediately took the book from Briseis' hand.

"Oh my gosh!" she can't believe what she is seeing and covered its mouth. "Where did you get it? How did you get it? I hid it in the trunk ha!"

Briseis took the book back from Shawna's hand.

"Even if I explain it you won't understand it," Briseis said. "The important thing is we have the book. Right?"

After a few minutes Marissa, Bret, and Seven arrived.

"Oh, what is Kyle doing here?" Seven asked when he saw Kyle sitting on the side with his hands tied to the chair. They were already on the sixth floor of an abandoned building.

This man is asleep.

"Why is he tied up?" Marissa asked. "Don't say you kidnapped Kyle?"

"Briseis brought Kyle here," Shawna said. "I didn't know he was tied up like that."

"Briseis," Bret called Briseis. "Why did you bring him here? We might be charged with kidnapping!"

"First of all he willingly came with me," Briseis told friends. "Second don't mind him. I'll take care of him."

"I can't," Bret said. "Who knows later we'll be locked up in jail for what we're going to do."

"Can you just shut up?" Briseis asked. "I'll take care of everything!"

Bret didn't talk to them anymore because he couldn't do anything.

"Remember the name that we're going to call," Briseis said. "Necro, Necro is his name."

"Who is Necro?" Marissa asked her friend.

"The demon we'll call," Briseis replied as she took out the belongings from her black bag.

"Demon?" Seven asked. "Why would we call a demon ?!"

"Who do you want to call? San Pedro? Will he give you wealth? Only slaves of darkness will give us our desires! No one else."

Seven fell silent to one side.

Briseis tossed Shawna and Marissa a bag of salt.

"You make a big circle with that," Briseis said. "Make sure you don't have a hole in the circle that you will make,"

The two women followed her. Then she handed the two men black candles.

"Round it out of the circle," Briseis commanded them.

"Then you turn it on and you enter the circle that Shawna and Marissa are doing."

Briseis turned to the tied man in the chair.

She waited until the comrades had finished making a circle and lighting the candles.

Bret was stopped by the sight of Briseis holding a knife. The woman watched what they were doing.

"Briseis what is that you were holding ?!" Bret shouted at her.

"What else do you think?" Briseis asked and showed them the knife. It is sharp and can cut skin.

Shawna and Marissa's eyes widened.

"Where are you going to use that?" Seven asked her.

Briseis pointed the knife at Kyle's neck.

"Is it obvious ?!" Briseis asked them.

"Are you crazy?" Seven asked her. "We'll be charged with murder for what you're doing!"

"Didn't I tell you not to worry ?!" said Briseis as her eyes widened. "I'll take care of it! So hurry up there and enter the circle because we're about to start the ritual!"

"Why do you have to do that to Kyle ?!" Marissa asked her friend.

Briseis laughed like a madwoman.

"Do you think you can get what you want without an offering?" Briseis asked while smiling. "You need to pay for it!"

"Take that knife away!" said Bret to Briseis. "Stop that Briseis. You're doing the wrong thing."

"We need an offering for the ritual," Briseis said and pressed the knife to Kyle's neck. The other two women covered their mouths. "And Kyle is that offering! Oh, maybe you want to take his place?"

Briseis's friends couldn't believe what she was doing.

Kyle open up his eyes and was awakened by the commotion.
