Chapter 8: Hi Dad

"Well Davis got the call and she turned down the internship so going through the daughter was a bust." Bryce said. "Maybe we should just give her some space and just do little nice gestures for her here and there until she you know let's up a little bit I mean come on man you can't just expect her to be acting all buddy-buddy with you after all that's happened just recently you got to build up to it. We are still in summer and she is not getting married until Fall we still have a little bit of time. Plus remember she is not mad at us, so maybe we can feel her out and talk to her we were her friends at one point to. It shouldn't be that hard to start planting seedlings in that wonderful brain of hers." Travis said. "OK fine, well try this for a little bit and then well go from there. I just can't give up on her. I mean I should have never let her go. I just got to get her to see how perfect we are together." He said as he got up and left the office she wouldn't be over in this side of the clinic today. It was hard on days he didn't see her.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Sitting down she placed Vince's backpack on his seat while he went to grab their drinks from the vending machine. "Hey, this is your first year here right?" The boy in front of her asked wear the schools practice football jersey. "Yeah?" She answered back to him. "Yeah most of us too. Your Aria right? I sometimes see you around Rylie and the others. I'm Dylan Andrews we actually have most our classes together except the weight room." He said reaching his hand out she took it. "I hope you don't mind me coming up to you, it's just you know the classes are not that big and the material can be a bit much I'm kind of branching out to some of the other classmates you know trying to feel out for study groups or incase I miss out on notes or something important." "Well that's smart." "Yeah I was hoping it would be." He said moving the backpack over and sitting down.
 "Ugh actuc…" She was cut off when Dylan continued his speech. "So I was hoping maybe some time when the tests start coming up maybe we could revise together? Do you need something man?" Dylan asked Vincent who was staring down at him. "You're in my seat man that's why my back pack was there. Had you let her finish her sentence a few seconds ago you would have caught that she was saving that seat for me man." Vincent said in the nicest tone he could muster even though he was hating this. "Oh my bad bro. Here. You're in my weight class right?" Dylan asked taking a deep look at him. "Yup, all the ones you have with Aria I'm there too." Vince said with a fake smirk. "Hey, there you go Dylan maybe you should get Vince's number and then we could all meet up and revise together." She suggested happily. "There's a thought. Oh better find a seat." Dylan said as the teacher came into the room. Dylan went back to his other jock friends. They all looked back randomly to Vince and Aria who did not notice and he wished they were a little more subtle.
 After class Vince was noticing Dylan in all the classes who couldn't keep his eyes from drifting back to Aria and kept taking deep breathes like it was hard for him to be away from her. It made Vince happy and blushed beat red every time Aria would wrap her arm or arms around Vince or grab his hand. "Is this ok?" She asked as they were walking out to grab lunch and she intwined her hand in his. He looked her in the eyes pulling the back of her hand up to him to kiss it. "You never have to ask to reach and touch me Ari. I really love your little touches." He said using his free hand to pull her stray hair behind her ear. Walking towards Dean who started walking with them to meet up with the girls. Once they got around them Dean started leaning in so only Vince could hear.
 "Dude, are you with Aria?" "Kind of, were taking our time but agreed to be heading in that direction why?" "Dude the whole freshman football team has been talking and one of the running backs has got a thing for her bad apparently she's in all his classes and he's hella smart like you two. He's just turned eighteen on of the few kids who got here early like you. Dude basically if you was a jock you would be him hell you two even look alike and your both built like a damn wall. Just watch out man." Dean said with a chuckle. "Thanks but he's already tried to make a play and she didn't even noticed I think I'm good." Vincent said with a chuckle. "So Dean how about you pick from the hat to see who picks this Friday's event." Maddie said happily taking Callies hat and throwing the names in it. "Is Joel going to be there again I liked him." Lexi said wiggling her eyebrows up and down. "God I hope so, I would climb that boy like a tree. We had a great time." She said happily looking at her drink.
 "Rylie. Should we be nervous." Dean asked a little scared. "No actually there is a little carnival fair going on this weekend and we students are going at half cost as long as we show our ID's so what do you guys say you want to go eat greasy food, boogie on the makes shift dance floor, play some games, ride some rides come you guys let's go please." Rylie said in a begging voice. "I'm down I actually got coupons for that place. " Aria said holding them up passing them around. "Perfect." Vince said smiling at her. "I'm in." Dean said pulling Lexi closer to him by her waist and resting his arm there. "I can't wait to go dancing. Is this a bring a date thing?" Callie asked. "Why you bringing one?" Dean asked wiggling his eyebrows. Everyone smirked. "Well I don't know this guy in my English class asked me out this weekend and this seems perfect." She said looking at the flyer. "Sure, I promise we'll be nice." Maddison said crossing her heart.
 It took them all by surprise when a huge guy came running up to them out of breath, leaning on Vince for support. Thankfully only him since none of the girls were strong enough to hold him up. "Sorry." (Breath) "I'm so." (Breath). "Late." "Teacher was." (Breath) "A dick." Joel said holding his side making everyone laugh at and with him, never guessing that sentence would leave his mouth. "What'd I miss?" He asked looking at the guys who were smiling at him. Joel was growing on them as they texted back and forth last couple of days. "Rylie picked the activity this Friday." Vince said with a smirk. "Should we be scared?" Joel whispered. "Bro that's the first thing I said! But no it's going to awesome. It's this carnival here." Dean said showing him the paper as Joel stood over Rylie reading it. "Oh score great choice, babe." Catching everyone's attention making Rylie beam in happiness as he was reading the paper and rubbing her back.
"Ok well we all got things to do places to be." Lexi said as Dean and Vince moved aside to let Lexi and Aria step through to walk them to their shift at the campus library. Dean kissed Lexi's cheek and wished her a good night. "Dinner after?" Vincent asked. "I think Mr. Holden we have a new nightly ritual. Seeing as we have been having dinner together almost every night since we met. So how about unless something comes up we just keep having dinner every night together?" Aria asked smiling widely at him. "I think that sounds perfect. Wait for me here." He said smiling brightly at her. "Have fun at weight class." "Will do." Vincent waved off.
 "So I won't even ask you about dinner I know your forever booked up." Dean said making him laugh. "I do want to know though how you feel about this class it starts in ten minutes and basically the whole damn football and other sports team. I mean we meeting Joel up in there but what do we do with the running back who seems to be running towards your girl?" Dean asked. "I don't know I guess just play it by ear. I don't even know how I feel about it. Is it wrong that I feel a little mad or jealous or something. I don't know I never liked a girl before this is all new. I'm not sure how to handle it. It's a little overwhelming." Vincent said in a frustrated sigh.
 "Dude calm down it's ok. Your just feeling a little protective I think is the term you going for and yes you have every right to feel that way. It would piss me off if he was going for Lexi, since you know I'm going for Lexi. Everything is normal you good bro. I'm right here if you need anything to ok. Remember Joel and I hell even Aria and the girls this is new to all of us, except the girls aren't nerds like us." Dean said making both of them laugh. "Yeah come on let's hurry and change before Joel thinks we ditched him." Vincent said as they jogged a little bit to the locker rooms.
 "Hey guys, thanks for telling me about this class. I'm super stoked not to have to worry about finding a gym when we got one here already and can get credits man double win." Joel said smiling brightly. "Yeah that was my main worry too. I did get Aria to start running with me on weekend mornings so that was a small fix, but I miss the bag and stuff." Vincent said. It was scary how well built they were for just being seventeen and the other two eighteen. "Ok you all listen up there is no possible way for me to keep up with how many of you guys are present so as long as you sign in through punch system it will email a confirmation of class credit you sign in when you come you clock out when you leave. That is how we will take roll I don't care what you do as long as you working out somewhere and putting in at least thirty minutes, that's all if you have any questions feel free come to the office other than that get at it. No fighting over machines. First come first serve don't hog the machines either. There's plenty of room for everyone also you don't have to be a part of the class to use the weight room this place is opened twenty four hours a day it does not close. So if you have to drop the class that doesn't mean you're not welcomed to come here any other times. That's all boys get to work don't forget to clock in and out either on your phone or the machines." The teacher and head coach waved off.
 "Alright the fun part where to start. Hey, we can switch off spotters over there and one of us can be working on the leg crunches as we shift." Dean pointed out in area close to a corner away from most people using dumb bells and tread mills. "Perfect, I'll spot first." Joel said as Dean got on the leg crunch. Vince put on about the two hundred pounds to add to the bar which already weight about forty-five pounds. "Damn, you a beast." Dean chuckled as Vince didn't even break a sweat for about ten minutes than switched with Dean so Joel could get on. "I aint even doing all that for ten minutes I'm dropping some of these off." Joel said laughing hard with Dean joining him. The guys from the room were impressed no one else could even come close to that in that time.
 Getting on the leg machine he adjust to the weight and added the part that helps him pull stuff up to him as he lifts with his legs. Feeling relaxed until he came up to him. "Can I help you?" Vince asked after the boy in front of him kept staring at him for a minute. "Yeah your Vince right from this morning?" Dylan asked. "Yup." Vincent said not slowing his work out down and popping the p at the end of it. "I noticed you hang around Aria a lot. Are you guys like together?" Dylan asked scratching the back of his head. "Well not officially but basically." Vince said as he stopped to look at the guy with a bored look. "So than she's single?" Dylan asked looking at him getting some gleam in his eye. "Technically yes. Trust me bro not for long. We're working our way there." Vincent said trying to get the point across. "Are you sure about that? You sure you're not just that best friend stuck in the friend zone?" Dylan asked with an arrogant smirk.
 "Nope, definitely not in the friend zone at least when I got her number she didn't have to ask another guy to give it to me." Vincent said confused on where the confidence came from that made a bunch of guys around them laugh out loud including Joel and Dean. "OH Good burn bro. Look dude, it's obvious they got something going on so why don't you go hit up one of those many cheerleaders who've been following you around like a lost puppy they seem more your type than Aria does. Trust us on that dude we just looking out." Dean said politely but squaring up to him at the same time. "I mean this with respect dude really I do. But she's fair game until she tells me otherwise. Good luck man." Dylan said as he walked off.
 "What the hell is his problem. You know my class in third block is in front of yours that dude stares at her hard like all the time it's creepy. It's a good thing we only got like three more weeks of summer classes, hopefully when the fall ones start she can get a break." Joel said whispering to the boys. "Dude like the whole team is just checking us out." Vincent said as he kept his work out going. "Well yeah dude, you told off the star player and your intimidating as fuck in here did you see what you can do and you aint even break a sweat. Fuck I'm scared of you." Dean said making both of them laugh hard. After wards he changed quickly and ran over to the library just in time to see her walking over to him smiling happily.
 "How was class? She asked smiling. "Boring, how was work?" "I LOVE BOOKS! It was slowish kind of I got a lot of homework done. I'm happy to see you though. What do we feel like tonight?" Aria asked. "There's a Chinese place few buildings over down the way across the street there." "A man after my own heart." She said making him laugh. "Damn straight." He said pulling her closer wrapping an arm around her waist tucking her into him. "Is this ok?" He asked. "You never have to ask to touch me Vinny." She said playfully putting her head on his chest as they made their way to the restaurant where they stayed until just before it got dark and he walked her back to the dorms only to text each other for three hours later while they did their work. Summer courses were double credits, harder material but also only two months long so they could still enjoy one month of summer and still be able to live on campus until fall classes start.
 The week went on long and tedious for Vincent as Dylan kept trying to do any little thing to talk to Aria. It was their last class about end when the teacher brought up a case study project due in two weeks and she already picked our partners… great." Vincent thought to himself. "Vincent and James and lastly Aria and Dylan you guys have two weeks to complete the case study you have a patient with these symptoms on the card and it's your guy's pace to make a full report on the treatment plan. You don't have to present it, just turn it in. I want it not this coming Thursday but literally the one following next week if you're unsure about anything or have questions please get ahold of me or feel free to reach out and actually use doctors or nurses or people in the past who have the same problems you may know. All will only help you. Good luck all." The teacher said as she dismissed them.
 "Hey man how about we talk it all out in weight room class and we can just you know type it up on our phones and then I can print it out next Thursday morning in free slot before the class start?" James asked Vincent as all three were walking out. "Sounds good man we should have it done before next week maybe we can just turn it in early and be done with it." Vincent said back. "Man for sure. See you in a little bit man, take it easy Aria." "Later." Hey both waved him off. James was captain of the freshman basketball team and was on the football team. He was more of a class clown who was actually really smart. "ARIA!!" She heard someone holler out very loudly. Making them both turn around to face Dylan as they stood in the middle of the sidewalk.
 "Hey, can I talk to you for a sec?" Dylan asked looking at Vincent. "Well yeah can you make it quick were meeting some friends for lunch." She said not moving away from Vincent. They all just stood there looking at each other. "Well did you have something to say or?" She asked, as Dylan understood now he was just going to have to talk in front of Vincent. "Well yeah so the project. I mean like you know I was wondering when you were free. Maybe we can work it tonight or tomorrow maybe you know go grab some dinner and get started it may take a while. There's no real rush and we can go over the material and the study cases." He said smiling his million dollar smile that drove the rest of the girls to their knees, just not her.
 "Well actually I was hoping we could just meet at the library each time seeing as there are so many newspapers, journals, magazine articles from famous doctors and of course the wi-fi. You can meet me there any time between twelve through five. I have preset dinner plans for a while so that is not going to work." "Ok if that's what you feel comfortable with, that works for me. Do you think I could get your contact info down?" He asked blushing handing her his phone. "Ugh sure." She said typing in her info than handing I back. "You saved your email?" He asked with a question. Vincent looked down and smirked trying not to laugh.
 "Well yeah you know so we can send each other copies of the notes or other stuff, remember the first day of class you said you needed study buddies well I type everything out so this would be the best way to send and receive info from each other. See you whenever you come in. I know you got weight class soon maybe I'll see you after that." She waved to him smiling brightly making Dylan blush and smile and wave back. It wasn't much but it was a start for him, she was truly something special any other girl would have killed to get her number in his phone, yet this beautiful other worldly creature gave him an email. Vincent was smiling bright to her. "What?" She asked curiously. "You just make my day, that's all." He said holding her chin to look at him as he leaned down to give her a sweet quick kiss. Grabbing his hand walking to the girls and Joel they quickly ate and made their way to their normal routine.
 Vincent and James decided to stay on some tables working on their case study which they found rather easy and were already half way done with the research and notes. All they would have to do now is type it up. Which Vince already had half way done. "Damn man I hope I get you every project. Two weeks my ass. Take it easy man I'll type the rest of this up by Thursday and just submit it in. Take it easy man. "Thanks see ya." Vincent waved off. Vincent made his way to the library and went in. He saw Aria laughing hard and quietly with Dylan as they had just piled up all their research materials walking up he got their attention seeing as he wasn't a small person not to notice he was still a little nervous around a lot of people. Something about Aria made him a different person though he was more outgoing and brought out a predator side to him that made him want to protect her from any and every thing.
 "Vince!" She said happily opening her arms for a hug as I wrapped her into me. "How was your shift?" I asked her sweetly seeing Dylan's face drop. "What shift?" He asked feeling lost. "Oh I work here from 12-5 most Monday's through Thursdays and earlier shift on Fridays. "Is that why you was going back and forth from the carts, you was putting stuff away in between articles?" Dylan asked mostly impressed they got almost half their project done and she worked the whole time. "Yup, it's also why I told you to meet me here. See you asking for help on our project helps me get paid to do homework." Aria said smirking at both of them. "Your dangerously smart. Got to keep my eye out for you." Dylan said shaking his head grabbing his things. "Are you sure I can't change your mind about grabbing a bite?" Dylan asked trying to use a seductive voice.
 "No, were good. I get dinner with Vince. It's our thing." She said throwing an arm around Vince's waist as he smiled down and winked at her. Than he couldn't help the smirk that he gave off to Dylan seeing him urn a little red. "Alright. So I'll see you here after class tomorrow than?" Dylan asked. "You bet. I had fun thanks for not being lazy." Aria said making everyone laugh as they walked out the door. "So you handsome stud muffin what sounds good." "Well loving the name by the way." He said laughing deeply blushing hard. "I'm honestly good with a sub sandwich from the student center deli. "Yes you read my mind. Let's get getting' while the gettin's good." She said making him smile. "Too cute." He chuckled at her while pulling her close to him to get an arm around her shoulder.
 Killian and the guys just got done dropping off a huge order and while they were walking back they ran into the only person he couldn't stand and his two besties. "Jones." "Morgan." He said with distaste in his mouth. "I heard your daughter is studying in medicine." Jace said looking at him as Killian stopped looked up and turned around slowly staring at him not saying a word. "I wish her all the best it's a hard field to be in and even harder on the body to stay in. Speaking from experience all three of us even Ellie and Tris have." Killian just nodded his head in agreement. Ryder clinching his jaw at the sound of his woman's name. "We really do wish her all the best. You know if she ever needs any extra help she could always come down to the clinic we have all kinds of specialist that could help her pinpoint her main course of study hell some of us even have friends who can give out internships." Jace said with a smirk. Catching Killian's full attention. Eli pulled him back before he could Killian could fling himself towards Jace.
 "You stay the hell away from my family, you slimy piece of shit." Killian said in a very calming voice. "You keep both my girls names up out your mouth or I promise you, you won't have a mouth to use." He added. "Always so violent Jones." Jace said in a fake offensive tone. "You aren't technically family just yet. She is still legally single. You also don't have any biological kids with her so in technical terms you aren't really linked together at all except by societal perspective which is always ever changing. Besides what makes you think she really wants to have kids with someone who already did it all without her. I mean do you honestly think she wants Hami downs in her life for the rest of her life. A used up single dad, having to be a step mom in someone else home she didn't get to build. She deserves more than a Hami down man and kid don't you think it would be best to step back and let her have something better for her more on her level not all used?" He asked whispering in Killian's ear.
 In less than a blink of an eye Killian was on top of Jace as they both were going blow for blow until the guys finally pulled them apart. Luckily no one but them saw the whole thing. "You want to talk about me all you want go ahead you little bitch run that mouth but you ever put down my kid or talk about my woman I will end you where you stand bitch. You think you above me. Seriously bro you? You beat the hell out of a woman you claimed to love you lower than a bag of burning dog shit. You want to talk about Hami downs when you left her to go find better only to come crawling back with your tail between your legs because you couldn't cut it alone. You fucking pussy. You going to tell me you honestly thought an amazing woman like Tristiana would still be single waiting for a worthless piece of crap like you. You a dime a dozen. She is priceless. You only stepping up to me. Trying to come at me sideways because you jealous of everything I have, everything you lost. Everything you gave up. You could have everything I have right now hell you could even have a baby running around right now had you not been so fucking stupid. Yeah that's right man for such a smart guy you think you are you dumb as hell. You fucking pathetic coming at me because you jealous move the fuck on you little fucking twat." Killian said as all the guys pushed past him to move forward back to go home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 Cuddling on the couch later that night he couldn't help but look at the amazing woman in his arms. His whole world could right in his arms. He thought smiling to himself he couldn't hold himself back anymore. "Tris." He called her softly. "Yes, my love." She teased playfully. "You know how we said if we got pregnant than we did but if we didn't we didn't?" He asked her looking into her eyes as she was turned to see him. "Yeah." "Well what if I wanted to try a little bit to make that more of a possibility?" He choked out. "What do you mean." She asked confused. "What if we just you know winged it without the condoms, and birth control for a while and just see what happens?" He asked her looking deep in her eyes to see if maybe he scared her off.

 "Kills are you trying to tell me you want to try for a baby?" She asked him in a tone that was hard to detect. "Yeah I think I am. I want a little version of the best part of ourselves running around the house. I want a piece of us right here. Are you. Are you ok with that? Is it too much?" He asked starting to get nervous after laying his cards on the table. "Killian if this is what you honestly truly want than fine. I'm ok with this. I know we can handle anything that comes our way. I just don't want you to be this scared to talk to me about it. I mean honestly you look like you're going to just wig out any second." She laughed off. "I was just nervous you may not be on the same page as I am you know I can't lose you Tris I don't want to fuck up anything we have. Your my whole world you and Aria and anyone else who blesses us along the way. I 've been thinking about this for weeks now. I just couldn't hold back anymore." He said smiling down to her. "Well you got anything else you don't want to hold back on, because I switched to the pill instead of the shot just in case you wanted this sooner than we thought I'll just stop taking them. It also helps that I didn't grab my refill three days ago." She said wiggling her eyebrows. As he climbed on top of her and showed her just how much she meant to him four times over.

 The week went by quickly and Dylan had wormed his way into getting closer to Aria and even got her calling him a new friend. Weirdly though she never would go out of her way to see him or meet up like she does with her other friends Vince thought to himself. It was Friday and he walked over to Aria who was all dressed and ready. "So are we walking the two blocks over?" Aria asked. "Would you like to?" Vincent asked. "Is it bad if I say yes?" "No, sweet heart it aint. Lexi ready? Dean's outside talking to some dude about notes." Vince asked nicely. "Yes my sweet boy I am all set come on love bug." Lexi said as Aria locked up. "Are you ready for an awesome night?" Aria asked him as they got started walking out side. "As long as you right next to me every night is an awesome night." Vincent said tucking her into him.

 When they got there they noticed all the little group plus a new guy laughing with James. "Hey guys great you're here. Let's go get the wrist bands and see how we feel from there." Rylie said as everyone was looking around greeting each other. "Oh right sorry, guys this Giovani Damico he's the place kicker for the freshman football team." "Gio please." He waved nicely. "These are my sisters, Rylie, Maddie, Lexi and our baby Aria. These are the special friends of sisters Joel, Dean and Vincent." She said as everyone nodded or waved. "Just Vince man." He said with a smile. "I have weight room with you guys right?" "Gio asked curiously. "Are you sure?" Joel asked with a laugh. "Yeah man I normally just keep to myself I don't like most of the team too much like they're ok I guess but I don't feel like I really blend in with some of them they can act like a real dick. I normally just work out alone." Gio said sadly. "Well why don't you start with us man we don't fit in there either." Dean said making everyone laugh with him.

 Between the games and the rides and the food the girls got lots of prizes they all had a great time. They had just finished their food when a live band came on a stage and started playing some mellow dancing music. A tall cowboy like came up to ask Maddie to dance who got up so quick it made them all dizzy. "No, please Mads answer faster." Rylie said as she straightened herself up a bit from Maddie pushing her over into Joel. The whole table started laughing than the guys looking at each other giving themselves a nod got up and took the girls with them. "Come Aria let's show them how it's done." Vince whispered in her ear. "I don't know how it's done." She said in a nervous voice. "You don't know how to dance?" Vince asked raising an eyebrow. "You do?" She asked back in the same way. "My aunt and Uncle threw me in classes saying stuff like a way to man's heart is through his stomach but the only way to a ladies heart is to dance away with it. So I took some classes and got beat up some more because apparently I wasn't getting that done enough at the time." He said sarcastically making Dean and Lexi laugh hard with him.

 "Look Aria just pretend you just with us and the moms and were in your kitchen while dad's playing poker and were baking to the radio. Like good times." Lexi said putting her in a more comfortable mood making her smile deeply. "Hey, just follow my lead because out there it's just us, no one else." He said walking backwards to a spot pulling both her hands lightly to him as he placed one of her hands to his neck and one of his to her waist and then held the other and started to push her around the dance floor dipping and spinning her around. After she got the hang of most of it her face hurt from all the laughing everyone was having. The girls drug her away for an oldies song they dance to with their two chosen moms. The guys went and got everyone a drink and when they came back they saw the girls all dancing with members of the rest of the football team. There he was that prick Dylan with his slimy hands spinning Aria around who was laughing at him they took a quick selfie on his phone before dancing again. The song ended rather quickly.

 "UGH!" Gio said with a heavy sigh. "What's wrong there bud." Vince asked looking at him. "I hate these pricks." Gio said making the other three guys whip their heads to him. "That tool right there. Eddie, he likes Callie too. We kind of been bumping heads a little more about it." Gio said looking pist. "Guess you know all about that though don't you man." Gio asked Vince. "Something like that." Vince nodded. "Why the hell it's always gotta be a fucking jock man." Joel asked a little pist. They all gave him a weird look. "Oh. What like you didn't know we was nerds come on." Joel said raising his arms making them chuckle in mockery. The girls were looking around as the guys from the team were still trying to keep their attention until their eyes landed back at them and they smiled brightly at them. They stayed dancing until the song finished than excused themselves. Aria thanked Dylan and he pulled her back to him. "How about one more. I mean were having a good time here right?" He asked looking at her hopefully. "Well yeah but Vince is waiting for me with my drink so I'll see you around thanks for the spin it was fun." She said shrugging her way out of him. Making Vincent and the others smirk to the jocks who were shocked at just how fast the girls ran away from them.

 It didn't take long before other girls were trying to get the teams attention as they stood there looking at each other confused on how hot girls like that blew them off for well-built nerds. Looking down at his phone Dylan was entranced at the picture he took of Aria and himself smiling brightly looking happy. So close to being cheek to cheek. At least he felt like he's moving in the right direction. Looking back he saw Aria reaching up on her toes to kiss Vince cheek thanking him for the drink as they turned and made their way out. All of them feeling tired decided to go up to one last machine and play for the big prizes it was a punching machine.

If you could break a certain score you get a certain prize. The girls all tried and failed pouting about the prizes they wanted. Gio went first and scored the funky monkey for Callie. The cowboy tag along who's named turned out to be Ethan and was only nineteen got the rockstar cow for Maddie. Joel stepped in and got the diva piggy for Rylie. Than Dylan and the guys came up do you mind if we try?" The asked respectfully as each of the four boys went they all got the necklaces. Dylan came up and got the highest score so far and took the little husky dog and walked straight up to Aria and handed it to her with a kiss on the cheek. "For my beautiful friend, that way you don't have to be cute alone." He whispered to her.

 "Ugh thank you are you sure?" Aria asked feeling uncomfortable. "Of course." He said stepping back staring at Vincent with a smirk. "How about you young man you want to give it a go?" The nice man asked. "Yeah." Vincent looked at Dylan once and pulled his fist back and double Dylans score making everyone's mouth drop. He took the matching wolf necklaces. He put on, than came up to Aria pushing her hair aside. "One for me and one for my amazing girl." He whispered in her ear and holding her chin up to look at him pecked her lips. Making her blush. He had no idea where all that confidence and cockiness came from. Maybe he was just sick of bending over to people. Normally he would keep his head down just walk away but whenever Aria was near he would be anything and everything to keep her near and with him. Even if it meant putting these damn jocks in their place. The girls awed and cooed, the guys smirk and Vince smiled smugly at Dylan as he wrapped his arm around Aria waist. "I love it. Thank you." She said happily. "Figured you would it's your favorite animal ." He said loudly looking at her with a wink. "See you later guys." The girls waved off. "Ready to go back?" Joel asked everyone they shook their head in agreement.

 The guys all walked the girls home turns out all of the guys including Ethan all lived in dorms on the same floor. Ethan was working his way to be a vet and was a classic cowboy. His drawl was perfect and made them all smile. "I had a great time tonight thanks for everything." Aria said as she kissed Vincent good night sweetly. Lexi did the same with Dean before they went to meet up with the other guys. "So how long you guys going to wait before you come official?" Dean asked smugly. "How long are you guys, or in Ethan's terms y'all?" Vincent asked back making them all chuckle lightly. "I'm just waiting for a couple of dates man." Gio answered honestly. "ME too." Dean said with a smirk. "Yup." Ethan said popping the P. "I just hope she's into me as much as I am her." Joel said in a nervous voice.

 The other guys were laughing hard. "Dude she literally has told us she wants to and we quote 'climb you like a tree'. Girl got no shame or filter. You should just ask tomorrow and put her out of her misery." Dean said making them all laugh more. "You think?" Joel asked scratching the back of his head. "Look guys I don't really know much about all this. Hell I don't even have friends until the Rylie and the girls came. I go to weight room to be able to defend myself. I was too used to getting beat up. I mean you guys are the closest things I got to friends so any advice would be nice." Joel said looking down and back up to them embarrassed for admitting that. "Dude, we all are on scholarships at an early age besides Ethan so we are used to being the smart nerds who got beat up what about us tells you we know anything about females or dating? Hell bro we were in the same weight room for same reason man." Vince said making the rest of the guys nod along. "Even me man I'm the smallest dude on the team size wise." Gio said.

 "So your telling me that were all just fucked than?" Ethan asked. "Yup, but at least we're all going down together. I mean we could all be friends right?" Vince asked. "Yup going to have to be. Need all the numbers we can get from the girls and the damn jocks no offense Gio." Dean chuckled. "Hey man I'm more nerd than jock I just kick a ball I don't even like doing my parents wanted me to just because your good at something doesn't mean you should do it. My scholarship was for the medical program I want to work with sick kids man. Not sports medicine." Gio said laughing. "I just want to cut people open." Dean said. "Same." Joel smiled as they high fived each other without even looking at each other.. As they parted ways Vince and Aria both laying in their beds proud of how far they come to this point to finally feel like themselves and be branching out to finally having friends and keep on building themselves from the ground up.

 Everyone decided to meet up for coffee across the street. Pulling out their books they all got a lot of work done and helped each other in different parts of it. Fresh pair of eyes and ears went a long way. Joel gathered the strength to ask out Rylie and took a good five minutes of nervous stuttering to get it out. They are both currently on cloud nine. Looking at them from the outside perspective it looked like she was so far out of his league but she was so happy and content. Everything was going well as Vincent had his arm over Aria as she was tucked into his side as he helped her with the math formulas. It took a couple of minutes but then they heard whispers of 'oh shit' and someone clearing their throat. Turning around to see five huge body builder men and two small sized women looking at the girls and Aria like they were about to go on death row, except the two women who were smirking. "Hi dad." She said in a nervous chuckle. "Aria. Aren't you girls going to introduce us to your friends, maybe we should call the rest of your dads and everyone can meet together?" As soon as those words left Killian's mouth the other guys color drained from their faces only to leave one thought. We're screwed.
