Chapter 9: Meeting Uncles & Staying Friends

"Hi dad what are you guys doing here?" Aria asked getting up hugging all her uncles and the girls. "You guys have football games about to start soon your deans office called and the shop about fixing some things out in the stadium so here we are." He said hugging Aria tightly. "How are our girls?" Noah asked happily. "A little to comfortable I would say for only being here two months." Ryder said as the rest of the guys glared at the young men in front of us. "At least you guys are actually studying." Eli said making Ellie smack his head. "Well girls we're waiting." Tris said with a sweet smile her hands hanging in her lap. "Well ok." Rylie took a deep breath. "This is Joel my as of this morning boyfriend Joel is studying to be a surgeon and yes I am telling dad tonight he can meet him this weekend. You can come back home with me right?" Rylie asked with wide eyes. "Yeah sure loved too, ugh looking forward to it." Joel said smiling shaking all of their hands.

"This is my friend Ethan who is studying to be a vet." Maddie said. "Pleasure to meet y'all." Ethan said making all the guys try to hide their smirks shaking his hand. "This is my friend Dean." Lexi said trying to look up but anywhere but their eyes. "Your friend for now. It's good to meet you folks." Dean said in a way only he could making the guys glare a little at him shaking his hand. "Dean put gum in your mouth." Vince whispered to him. "Why?" "Again man so stupid crap will stop coming from it." Vince snipped to him making everyone smirk. "This is Gio he is studying to be a pediatric doctor and also the teams place kicker he could actually take you to the coach they boys have weight room soon anyway." Callie said smiling at him. "I'd be happy to show you the way." He said shaking the mens hands who nodded in agreement. "Sounds good give us men a chance to talk on the way over." Ryder said looking around.

"Watch it." Ellie whispered to him. "Vince how you been?" Killian asked coming to shake his hand. "I've been getting better everyday Killian and yourself?" He answered happily. He had a lot of respect to the man in front of him to put his kid first her life like a parent should even all on his own, he wondered what it would feel like to have at least just one parent want or even like you. Here this beautiful woman who stole his heart was surrounded by all these men and women who love her for who she is. HE was happy she had this support system. "Good enough, can't complain. You guys getting ready for your finals this week?" Killian asked looking down at the work Aria and Vince was doing. "Yup. We were just about done anyways if you guys want to come with us to the weight class?" Vince asked looking around. "Oh sorry guys these are our uncles Noah, Zain, Ryder, Nathan, and Elijah. This is our aunt Ellie who is more like a mom to us. My dad Killian and my mom Tristiana." The word slipped right out before she could catch it. Making everyones eyes bulge out . "Ugh I'm sorry is that ok?" Aria asked getting herself worked up into a panic attack. "Breath baby its fine. I'm honored to hear that honor come from your mouth baby girl. You guys can call me Tris or mama Tris same with Ellie. Who just nodded along with her. "Big mama Ellie." Ryder said with a smirk and a kiss to her neck.

"Ok well we will see you guys at home girls let's go shopping." Ellie said smiling brightly. "Mom don't let them hurt them." Aria asked for a second. "Don't worry love bug if those boys ever want a meal again than they'll remember to act like the full grown men they are." Tris said in a sing song voice. Making all of them gulp. "Yes baby." Killian said hugging Aria and kissing Tris one last time. Than walking away from the girls seeing as all the guys gathered their work. The guys all walked inbetween the boys. "So are all of you guys together and just not telling us or what's going on back there, because boys friends don't snuggle when they study." Killian said in a deep voice. "Well I am with Rylie as of today." Joel said with a small stutter. "You are definitely a mystery boy you build for MMA but you look like you smarter than Bill Nye. I love it, you got your hands full with Rylie though you better have the patience that needs to come with her." Hunter said as the rest of the guys knew how wild she can get.

"We are all just friends but that will soon change as we are all new to this kind of thing the girls are being patient with us. We just thought it was better to take a few dates and get to know each other a little better first." Vincent said in a respectful tone. "You see man it's like this we are the nerds who got beat up and no one took a second look at and now that we actually met people who like and understand us it's throwing us for a spin so were honestly just trying to roll with and figure it out as we go." Dean said honestly again in only the way he can. "I'm sure one day we will learn how to communicate with you better." Eli said making them all laugh. "If you guys actually have any advice we would like to hear it because I mean we don't have anyone else but each other to talk to about stuff like this. I know it's embarrassing to ask, and you guys would probably rather run us over, but I mean wouldn't you rather us come to you than be dumb on our with the girls you care about?" Gio said looking around to the men.

"Hold up, so do like none of you five boys have any dads or someone?" "MY parents divorced and didn't want to deal with me." Dean said simply. "My parents only talk to me if they want something." Gio said sadly. "My grandparents raised me because my parents died in a car accident." Ethan said simply. "My dad walked out on me because my mom is a lesbian." Joel said like it didn't matter to him. "My parents didn't want me I got emancipated." Vincente said looking down at the ground feeling ashamed. Killian group of friends looked around at each other feeling heart broken for these guys this whole time they felt broken for Aria and all he hell she wen through not having a female in her life and here stood five boys who were the same in the opposite way. "What the hell is the world coming to?" Nathan asked in a mad tone. "Look whatever you guys are doing right now it's working. The girls are happy. Just always respect them, and keep communication open with each other, and if you feel lost just tell them. They will understand believe it or not they know what it's like you do none of them have a mom except Ellie and Tris so they just as lost as you are. Just be yourself." Killian tried to say.

"Look guys we want to help you we really do but we just as dumb as you guys on this stuff, because were men and we will always be dumb at this stuff, just don't stress out so much and you'll be fine." Ryder said being honest. "Well I guess were all just screwed than." Gio said shaking his head making hem laugh. "Yeah but I bet you anything you'll still have a girlfriend by fall semester. Just know we will kill all of you if you hurt any of them." Hunter finished. "Yes sir." Ethan said happily. "Ethan you going to join us?" Dean asked curiously. "Yeah you know why not I'm not getting graded but it'd be fun to do something with friends." He said smiling, making them all blush.

After talking everything over with the coach , he showed them the field as the team was starting practice since time has went by. Everyone was walking off he field. "Excuse me sir." A young kid came up with his ger in tow. "Are you Aria Jones dad?" HE asked with a smile. "Yeah." Killian answered with no emotion. "It's good to meet you sir, I'm a good friend of hers, Dylan." HE said reaching out his hand. "I just couldn't help but notice how much you two looked alike. I wanted to come introduce myself." He said happily. "You the one of the phone the other day at the library right with the case study?" Killian asked. "Yeah that's me. I'm in the same classes and seventeen too. I was kind of hoping to ask you if it was to ask Aria out on a date." HE said making the other guys smirk. "You want to ask my daughter out? You?" Killian asked confused. "Yes, I think she's a great person and would like to get to know her better."

"Is this some kind of bet or game to you? DO you think my daughter is some sort of toy?" Killian asked getting mad. "No sir, I genuinely like Aria. I would never do anything to hurt her intentionally." Dylan said back. "But your like a jock?" Ryder said loudly. "IS that a problem?" Dylan asked back. "No. It's just different for Aria to be surrounded by some many people. She is not one who likes attention and giving your popularity since we been on campus today and you've been swarmed by people just how well do you honestly see that working out without her getting into a panic attack or something?" Killian asked him crossing his arms. "I ugh, I think we can work around it, or do whatever it takes to make her comfortable." Dylan said. "I won't give you permission only Aria can do that, good luck though boy you going to need it if you think you actually go ta shot with my kid." Killian said smiling deeply at Vincent who was walking up to him. "There's my boy now, what are you doing out here? Thought you have dinner with Aria by about now." Killian asked putting his arm around Vince shoulder. He really like this kid.

"Well I'm on way to collect her now just wanted to know if you wanted to join us?" Vince asked looking around. "Well you now what that was great of you to ask but you guys go on ahead we going home. Just here take this and you call me if you ever need anything else no matter if you guys think it's a stupid question or not. We're here for you." Killian said as the rest of the guys patted him on the shoulder on the way out. Good luck Derek." Killian said as he walked off with the guys behind them. Vincent looked at them, than back to Dylan. "What are you staring at?" Dylan asked annoyed. "Nothing Derek. Take it easy." Vincent said as he turned and walked back as two other players came up to Dylan as he slowly started to seethe.

"There you are where you been?" Aria asked smiling at him walking up to him. "Saying bye to your dad and the guys I asked if they wanted to go to dinner but he just wanted to get back to your mom I think." Vince said with a shrug throwing his arm around her shoulder. "Well did he at least behave himself I'm really sorry if you and the guys felt uncomfortable. You know we understand if you guys stop talking to us now and." "ARI!" He said cut her off. "Chill cuteness, it's alright. We are all good. Everything is fine we just had a talk with them it was nice honestly you know we don't have any males we can talk to besides my cousin and even that is iffy information." He said laughing. "Look we like your dad and the rest of the guys and we look forward to meeting the other dads as well. I mean hell we should thank all of them, because without them you guys wouldn't be here right now, making our lives better." Vince said looking down.

"That was the most amazing thing anyone has ever said to me. Thank you for understanding Vinny." She said hugging into his side a little tighter. The night went on as they spent the usual couple hours talking they got the girls to go online and play some multiplayer war game Ethan found on his laptop. The next day Lexi and Aria looked at each other and laughed they all fell asleep on their laptops. The guys were bouncing around full of energy, they couldn't have been happier if they won the lottery. The girls had literally dragged themselves all over campus like a zombie and took their finals. "Aria, hey. Oh wow are you ok?" Dylan asked looking at her. "Yeah I just got stuck on some damn game with some friends last night and didn't get much sleep. How are you Dyls?" She asked making him smile at the nickname. "You're too cute you know that right? So we need to finish the last part of the case study. Can I meet you at your shift?" He asked hopeful.

"I forgot all about that. Yeah sure. I'll see you there." A blended mocha was placed in front of her. "OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU!" She said loudly at the cup taking in the caffeine. "You know I 'm not even sure if your talking to me or the caffeine." Vince said. With a chuckle. "Why not both? Do I get to be thrown around the room now like that kid on the taco shell commercial?" She asked looking at both of them smiling. "You really want us to toss you around like you the bride in a Jewish wedding?" Dylan smirked to her. "Yeah no hard pass." "I'll meet you in the library." Dylan said smiling a her. "Still working on your project?" Vince asked faking a small smile as the teacher came in. "Yup, Finishing that up today though I swear that thing just dragged, he's a good friend and all, but I don't want him for a partner again." She whispered. "Why not?" Vince asked concerned and intrigued. "He's like really smart and all. He just had a hard time focusing he kept asking questions and trying to get to know me and stuff, but maybe that's just because he might not be able to work well with strangers or something. Either way it's like I could be done with it already. It's a good thing my boss is so laid back. I could be fired by now." She joked.

At lunch the guys all gathered around. "So are we getting together this Friday?" Dean asked happily. "Actually the girls and I are going home. Aria is the only one who comes back Sunday. The rest of us carpool and come back before classes on Monday." Lexi said. "Actually I think you the only one coming back Monday Lex, we all coming Sunday evening. A few hours after baby girl here." Rylie said taking a bite of Joel's fries as he stole her smoothie. "Really, maybe I'll catch a ride with you than Maddie?" Lexi asked stealing Gios onion ring only to have fling his straw paper at her. "Welp come on boys let's get to weight room." Ethan said as he hugged Maddie close. "We still on Sunday night?" "Yes sir." Said with a blush. After Vince and Dean walked the girls to the shift they just changed out of the locker room. "So cowboy, what you got going on this Sunday?" Dean asked waiving his eyebrows. "I'm taking Maddie out for our first real date. If it goes well I'm just going to go for it. Life is too short boys. I'm just going to shoot my shot. That sounded a lot dirtier than I wanted it too." Ethan said rubbing his hands down his face. Making the guys laugh deep at him.

"Where's Giovani?" Joel asked looking around. "Looks like his team mates got ahold of him." Dean said as they looked over. "Well he'll come over when he's ready." Ethan said. As they kept a silent eye out for him. Going back to their routine. "Giovani, how's it going man?" Dylan asked with two other line men next to him. "Fine I guess, you guys need something?" Gio asked nicely still trying to respect his team mates. "We noticed you been hanging around some new people lately, and was just wondering if maybe you planned to invite the some of the pretty bunch to the party after the game in about two weeks? It could be fun man it's be a good date with what's her name Callie?" Trent said with a smirk. "She got some cute friends man. How about you hook us up, why you holding out man? Leon asked playfully smacking his shoulder. "Well some of them are no longer single, I'll ask I know for sure they are coming to the game, but I don't really think the after party is their thing so don't get your hopes. Happy lifting boys." Gio shrugged the three boys off him.

"Brotherly bonding?" Dean asked batting his eyes. "Fuck you, dude." Gio said laughing hard. "Naw they want me to invite my prettier new friends to the party after the game in two weeks. I'm not even going to that thing bro. I'm trying to see if maybe you guys want to go to get food after, the girls are going to the game I was going to see if you guys wanted to come it's cool if you don't though." Gio said simply. "What's your number man?" Ethan asked smirking at him. "23." "So if we made random signs and held them up that read like # I want to have your baby there's nothing you can do about it right?" Dean asked making the guys all laugh. "How about #23 come kick it to my place?' Joel said in a fake seductive voice. "#23 is daddy status." Vincent said making them all laugh out loud. "Where did you even get that crap?" Joel asked. "Dude that was what Rylie said about you the first time I met the girls." Vince said making them all laugh so hard the rest of the room looked there way a couple of times. "You guys suck." Gio said. "You wish we suck 23." Ethan said making them all laugh harder. The class seemed to go by faster and faster each time. The guys were all thankful for each other, something about them being together made them realize this was going to be a good bond together that went deeper than just school years.

"Hey why you outside?" Dylan asked. "I'm just to dead to finish my shift today, my boss took one look at me and told me to leave before I scared away the rest of the students. SO mean. So how about we just find a spot in the shaded benches and just do it out here?" She asked him. "How about we go to the little café couple places down we know it's quiet around this time and we can pump some caffeine into you so we can push through this." Dylan asked chuckling at her. "Sure, let's just hurry up and get started so this project can end." She whined walking along side him. "Has it been that bad spending time with me?" He asked faking being hurt. "No. It's just for some one so smart, it's like why drag this on?" She said being honest. "Well for a couple of reasons. One I want it to be good, I like my good greats so I wanted to be sure all our facts checked out. Two I just liked spending time with you getting to know you and stuff and I really hated the idea of it being cut short. I mean would you really talk to me if there wasn't a project between us. Honestly would you even noticed I existed." He asked her feeling sad about not wanting to really know the answer.

"Well I guess not. It has nothing to do with you though I just was bullied a lot by the jocks girlfriends and some of the girls when you talk to me give me this hateful glares I just don't want to be apart of those situations. Plus I'm not that good at making friends exactly so cut me some slack." She said playfully hitting his shoulder. "You so violent for such a tiny woman." He said jokingly pushing into her with his. "Look I don't know anything about other chicks. I do know I have really enjoyed getting to know you. You're a hard person not to notice Aria. I promise I have nothing but good intentions when it comes to you. If any one gives you any crap I want you to come straight to me and I'll take care of it. Don't worry I got you boo." He said in high pitch girl voice. Once they got done it was about four thirty. "I gotta go meet Vince so he doesn't worry." She said gathering her things. "I'm so happy it's done." She said with a cheerful fist bump in the air. "Yeah I'll print it out back in my dorm." He said as they got outside he couldn't help but pull her wrist back softly. "Aria." He asked catching her attention. "Can we still like talk maybe even hang out every now and than? I know with football coming up my time is kind of here and there, but I really don't want to stop being around you. You're a really great person. I'd hate for you to act like you don't know me just because were done with work." He said sadly.

"We're still friends Dyl. Yeah that would be ok." She said with a shrug. "Do you think I could have your number and we can keep in touch?" He asked hopeful. "Sure here give me your phone and I'll text myself." She said as she sent the name Dylan to her phone. "So look we got a first game in two weeks since finals are over. DO you think you can come support us? It mean a lot to me to see a friend in the crowd." He said with his million dollar smile. "Yeah my friends and I are already planning to go one of my besties is your place kicker." "Giovani? Yeah he's a cool guy sometimes more on the quiet side but he's a good egg." Dylan joked around. "Quiet? Maybe you don't know your team mates as well as you think you do there Andrews I got to go later." She said running off back to where she should be.

"Hey what are you doing over there?" Vincent asked as he was walking out of his dorm building seeing her straight away. "Well my boss gave me the day off so Dylan and I went to the café and finished the project form hell. Now you sexy beast what are we eating for dinner?" "Love your terms of endearment that always build me up straight from the soul to the feels." Vince said touching his chest. Student center has fried chicken sandwiches?" He offered. "Sold. That was one of the first meals I learned how to make actually." She told him proudly. "Really and when do you plan to share the food with me?" He teased. "OK, whenever I take you home I promise to cook you food. I still have plenty to learn but I am pretty good at it now Tris is a great teacher she is always showing me and the girls something. Everyday I wake up I realize just how thankful I am to have her walk in my life and unlike others stay. I would be so lost right now without her." "Give yourself some credit." Vince said grabbing her hand kissing the back of it. "No seriously man I didn't even know how to get my hair to stay in a ponytail. I would literally be a big ol mess." She said laughing. "You'd still be a beautiful big ol mess. So anyways the guys and I are coming with you girls to the game and we will need your help to make some special signs." What kind of signs." She asked curiously. "The kind that will help show our support and love to Giovani of course." He said with a wicked smile.

"Did you get there ok?" Vincent asked as he was facetiming Aria who has been home for about an hour now. "Yeah, I forgot to tell you I got my license last week when Tris came down and I snuck off early from lunch." "Way to go I'm proud of you." "Do you drive?" "Yeah I got a drivers license I'm getting a car probably next month I've been using my motorcycle thought to actually get around." Vince said like it was no big deal. "YOU HAVE A MOTORCYCLE?" Killian asked taking the phone from Aria. "Yes sir actually all the guys you meet with the girls have one. We're going on a ride tomorrow. It's more practical to get around when it was just myself." He shrugged. "I guess so. Maybe you boys can join us out for a ride before the rains come. We got a nice little spot out by the river in our town a little ways down we like to get up there fishing and relax. You boys could come with us if you feel up to it in about next week." Killian asked him shocked by the words coming out of his mouth. "That sounds like fun we don't know how to do fish though. Well all of us except Ethan." Vince said laughing hard. "Yeah that boy going to know a hell of a lot more than he let's on, but there's just something about you boys we like. It would be a great way for all of you guys to meet the other dads too." Killian said shaking his head

"Sure long drive away from society a river to dump the bodies it sounds perfect." Vince joked making Killian laugh even harder. "I'm really starting to like you kid." Killian said shaking his head. "Give me that, you damn lug nut." He heard Tris say yanking the phone from him. "How you doing Vinny? Are you eating ok? Did you get your assignments in. Don't stress over them damn finals I'm sure you passes with flying colors. Do you need me to pick you up anything before the girls go back?" "No, mama Tris. I am fine the guys are fine and the finals weren't even hard. I am eating fine I eat two out of three meals with Aria everyday she can tell you herself. We're all ok and taking care of ourselves I promise. We even make sure we don't let the girls walk alone at dark across campus and hell we even walk with a buddy. Drunk frat boys will hit on anything that walks." Vince said shaking his head making them all laugh hard. "Ok well you guys drive safe tomorrow. You call if you need anything." She said blowing him a kiss. Making him feel special to know people worry about him.

"Sorry." Aria said as she went to her room. "He don't say that it feels good talking to your parents it's nice to know at least someone worries about you. Is that your room?" He asked sitting up looking deeper into the phone. "Oh, uh yeah." She said showing him her blue painted walls with all her art work on it. "You are so talented are you sure you want to be a doctor and not an artist?" He asked. "Yup, and thank you." "Is that us?" He asked looking at one oil drawing she made of him laughing looking down into her eyes as she met his smile looking back. "Oh, uh nope don't know what our talking about." She said turning her phone away. "Don't lie to me Ari let me see it." He said with a tone that left no room for arguing. "FINE. Look." She said holding it up to him. "That is so incredible. Aria that's such beautiful work. You are so amazing can I. Can I have that." He asked awestruck in it. "If you want it, sure." She said blushing. "Hey I go to go the guys and I are going to get a pizza before I gets too dark. Text me before you go to sleep." He said as he waved bye to her.

"He's right you know this is so amazing." Killian said holding it up. "You look so different Aria. You look I don't know happy, free in a way. So how's school going?" Killian asked her sitting on the edge of her bed. "It's so much better than high school dad. I'm making a lot of friends. I'm putting myself out there trying new things. I learn something new everyday. Some of the things though I can get a little backwards on. Vincent though he normal caches that and he explains it in a better way I can understand, thankfully or else I would be struggling a little bit. I feel bad for him dad. It's like bully wise we are on the same level, but I had you guys for support he only had barely three people, and he still would go out of his way to make someone feel good about themselves." Aria said sadly.

"Aria people like those boys you girls hang with. They are well they are definitely a special type of breed like Tris. These types of people have been hurt in certain ways in their past and once they find people they care for they will do every and anything in their power to make sure you never feel what they have felt because they know first hand what that is like and don't wish upon anyone else. They are keepers o hold onto. They need to be cared for also and sometimes that can be hard to do, but in the end it is worth it." Killian said hoping he made sense to her. "Yeah. Ok, I can see that through them. They are really selfless. Dad can I ask you question that might make you uncomfortable?" "Always." He said smiling. "How do you know if a guy likes you in a more than friendly manner?" She asked looking at him.

"Ugh, ok. Well for starters the dude will go out of his way to try to spend time with you, or look for a way no matter how big or small way to start conversations. Sometimes they may stare at you for a little bit too long. They may find any and every way to touch you. They could bring you things. They get jealous or act over protective when another guys steps up to talk to you, that isn't in your inner circle. They flirt with you. They may just take the honest approach and tell you to your face or ask you ou on a date. Hey call or text a lot during the day. You know everyone is different and has their own way." Killian said shrugging to Aria. "How do you know if they aren't just being nice?" She asked. "Well again baby girl they go out of their way to do these things stare too long, keep in constant contact, makes time no matter how busy he is to see you even if it's just five minutes and he had to drive a long ways to get there. Guys who are just running game won't put in half as much effort." He said flatly. "The one who's in it with always make sure to put you first, trust most of the time it will show too. Even if it takes a while to understand what's happening always hear the man out there may come a situation that may have more going on than you think always hear the man out before you choose on how to react though ok?" Killian stressed out.

"OK. Dad?" She asked while he was standing up. "Yeah." "How do you know if you like someone or you starting to fall for someone?" She asked looking down a her hands. "Well you will find yourself thinking about someone all day long. Sometimes you're going to feel like your day can't start without seeing them or hearing their voice. You going to pray for them more than yourself. You will go out of your way to make sure they do all the little things, eat, sleep, relax, get help when they need it. You will find yourself grabbing things for them in case you think they need them or just because you know they like it and want to make their day better. The thought of them not being around you hurts your heart. When you see them or hear them laugh or just look at you with that look of theirs and you can feel that smile you have all the way to your heart and feel your chest finally be happy. You may even start to sweat a little bit when they near. You can get chills and or feel calm when they touch you even their scent can calm you when your upset or just chilling out. In the end honey you're the only one to really know." Killian said as he go tup and turned towards the door.

Stopping for a moment he turned back to look at her. "If you wanted to build a relationship and be with Vincent I would support you on that. There would still be ground rules when you home. I like him better than the vibes I got off that jock head." Killian said. "What jock head?" Aria asked confused. "Derek. The foot ball guy." Killian said tilting his head. "You mean Dylan, when did you meet Dylan? Doesn't matter he's just a friend dad, fellow class mate. I will think about it. I'm not just there yet, but I'm close is it really ok dad?" "Yes, it's really ok. I have to let you grow up sometime and fuck your already in college and at least his smart and with both of you being so socially anxious I won't be a grandfather for awhile so that works even better for me. Love you baby girl." "GEEZ DAD, did you really have to go there." She got up and shut the door.

Killian came and wrapped his arms around Tris in the kitchen. "You were right." He said kissing her shoulder. "I know, but humor me." She said taking a drink from her sweet tea. " Aria. She still needs us for the small things that mean things. She still will come to me when she needs to. I am forever grateful for you Tris I don't even wan tot think about how we were just skating by before you." He said kissing down her neck. "Why you so tense?" He asked curiously. "Travis and Bryce have been being kind of weird they have been talking to me lot more and it's not of anything suspicious or in particular but it's been odd, and I just got a weird or bad feeling afterwards." She said as if she were confused. "Well than avoid them for about two weeks and see how they react. It may just be a big ol mind game. If you ever feel weird or bad you pick up that phone and you call me I'll be right there. We don't need you to have that job, baby you don't even have to work if you don't want to. You can always come and be my secretary down at the shop I could really use help. If things get to awkward you tell them all to take that job and shove it, and come to me. I always go you baby." He said leaning down kissing her deeply. "Love you Kills." She said in between the sweet kisses. "I love you too baby." He said holding her close. They danced around the kitchen and finished dinner and talked and laughed and all fell asleep in front of the T.V.

"Man I can't wait to get out on the road." Dean said as all the guys got to the parking garage. "How fast do you think the girls dads would kills us if we took them out for a ride?" Ethan asked. Everyone laughing at him. "Well they probably won't Killian invited us to go riding out with all of them this week." Vincent said looking around. "Dude are you serious?" Gio asked. "Where they going?" Joel asked already planning what to pack. "This little river lake place a little ways in their town about an hour from here but maybe like almost another forty minutes there." Vince said straddling his bike. "Makes sense in a way quiet little place no one knows about or can hear us scream, or find our bodies." Ethan said running his hand down his face making the rest of the guys laugh. "Yeah man we down. It's not like any of us is going to go home anytime soon anyways. Hell I think Ethan the only one with good family left." Gio said shaking his head. "Nope. My grandparents passed about a month after I graduated in March took my GED test, high school was too far I was home schooled too like Vince and Dean. My only person left is my three evil ass cousins and my great auntie who lives in a nursing home who don't know who I am who I am only allowed o see on Christmas." Ethan said simply.

"Damn man we like fucking strays." Joel said making everyone laugh because hey never hear words like that leave his mouth. "Maybe the girls and each other we can finally find us a place to call home." Dean said in a voice that shocked even them, nodding in hopeful agreement. "So where we going today anyway." Gio asked Ethan who had the idea to begin with. "There's a car show about an hour away down the south way freeway, also got a great diner on the way back I's more like a bbq joint. You guys want to go look at some sick as cars and bikes from the graffiti periods?" Ethan asked happily. "YES!" They said mumbled happily getting on and making heir way to their first real guys night out. Looking around the show they realized how easy it was being in public without having a panic attack, and how fast time went by. They made their way back to campus and all camped out in Vince and Deans room.

"Ethan what's wrong with you? You look like you going to be sick." Joel asked pushing his breakfast a little ways away from Ethan. "Tonight is my first date." Ethan said with a little bit of a stutter. "With Maddie?" Gio asked drinking his juice down. "EVER. Like I don't have a plan. Aren't I supposed to have something set up already. Like what do you think I should do?" Ethan asked holding his head in his hands. "Well calm down for starters. Look let's all pick one of her social medias and like go through some of her feed maybe we can get some ideas on the things she likes and we can piece together something off that." Vince said as the guys pulled out their phones. "His is why you the smartest one." Dean said with a chuckle. "I thought that was Aria." Joel said with a laugh. "Nope, Vince here has the highest IQ test he is about seventy-five points ahead of Aria who is in second." Dean said proudly. "Dude shut up and scroll." Vince said with a smirk.

"Ok, got it. So I'm going to take her to the Italian place down the way on the other side of campus and I got the theater tickets to the play downtown. Who knew they were that into musicals." Ethan said shaking his head. "Which one is it?" Gio asked. "The city theater community is putting on Chicago. I'll try anything once man." Ethan said with a laugh. "Dude she's going to love it. Just remember to be yourself. You guys already have a great time together just breath it'll be fine." Joel said giving him a coupon. "What's this?" Ethan asked. "The school has a florist shop in the ag part you know so when I went and got flowers for Rylie last week it's half off next purchase the girls are nuts for wild flowers or any type of bright colored ones. Figured you could use when you pick her up." Joel shrugged. "Score man thanks." Ethan said smiling. "Yeah man good looking out. Hey do they deliver?" Gio asked scratching the back of his head. "I'll ask when I get there and text you back." Ethan said as they were all getting up and heading their own separate ways to start off their day.

When the after noon hit Vincent got a knock on his door still reading the text book chapter for the next semester courses and looking up when he opened it throwing it to the side quickly taking in the person who was on the other side. Smiling brightly at him waving cutely at him. "I missed you." He said into her neck as she quickly wrapped her arms around him back. "I missed you too. It kind of sucks when we leave because we miss our dads but we missed you guys the whole time too. Did you guys at least have a good Saturday?" She asked still in the doorway. "Yeah we did, hey you hungry I's about dinner time let's go grab a bite down the student center and we can catch up." He said snagging his wallet and his phone. "Great." She said taking a step back. Neither of them have official step foot into the others dorm room.

"So that's all we did I know it's nothing glamorous or anything but after so long of something missing in that house it feels big too me." Aria said shrugging her shoulders reaching for Vincent's hand as they walked into the student center. Neither of them liked being touched to much still, but didn't mind if it was from each other or their little group. "I think it's a big thing. It's the little things that make the big things special. We took our bikes out and went up to a car show out of town and got some food than came back and watched movies all night until we passed out." He said smiling. "You were texting me the whole evening and night though?" She said confused. "Yup all us guys were talking to a beautiful lady, and each other. It was multi-tasking. I had a great time." Vince said winking at her for her to shake her head towards him. "Are you guys staying here Friday?" He asked. "Yes, we are here for two weekends." She said. "Saturday the boys and I rolling out for another ride but I'll be back in time to snag you up for dinner." "That sounds fun where you guys going now?" "With all of your dads and Uncles up to some river to fish and stuff." He said taking a drink from his soda.

"You're going on a day trip with all of our dads and my uncles? I thought he was joking you guys are actually going?" Aria asked eyes wide opened. "Yup, we going. I'm looking forward to it. I get to see some of your little stomping grounds, plus I like talking to your family. I think I talked to your parents more times in the last few weeks than my own family. I have to call my cousin he's been hitting me up lately too." Vince chuckled making a mental note. "Ok so in advance and on behalf of all the girls I would just like to apologize now for any future inappropriate or uncomfortable behavior, and basically beg you guys no to give up on us." Aria said chuckling at him in a begging form with her hands. "No one can scare us away that easily from you guys. Trust me we've been through much worse." Vince said kissing the top of her head.

Walking back they both quietly noticed a few girls glaring at her and turning away once they were caught. A few guys would glare at Vince too, only for him to return it and feel confused, at least he's used to he guys hating him for no reason but why would the girls be scowling Aria. Jealous must truly be a both he thought to himself. "I think I should feel blessed or lucky." Aria said still holding Vince's hand. "Why is that gorgeous?" He smirked down to her. "All the hate looks from being here with you. You have no idea how handsome you really are Vince. I guess if I was hem I would be envious too." She said looking at him making him blush. "I doubt all that very much but I do believe they are jealous of you." He said kissing her cheek. "Don't miss all the guys looking over here ready to knock my ass into the dirt to come stand next to you." He said stopping and pulling her into a hug standing in front of her dorm. Her arms wrapped around his neck, his wrapped around her waist until his finger puller her chin to look at him.

"I really did miss you Ari. The morning is not the same when I don't get to talk to you. You should get up there I'll come here at six to get you for the morning run, we get a week off before new classes start." She nodded just looking into his eyes happily. Still holding her chin he leaned down and slowly kissed her. She pulled him in tighter and they stayed that way until they both came up for air. "Each time you do that it feels like I get I don't drunk for a second but like in a good way." Aria said still staring at him. "Everytime we do that I think I can feel the whole world stop and start again." HE chuckled out to her. "You better go before we decide to stay out here with al the nasty looking haters." He said letting her go with a kiss to he cheek. "Fuck em." She said making him stand proudly in shock. "I"d rather not they not my type." He said with a fake shiver. "What's your type than?" "It's not really a type it's you. Just you." He said wih a wink making her blush as he turned and they parted ways. Maybe it's a good thing I got that trip Saturday with her dad. It's almost that time he said mentally preparing himself for whatever storm lay ahead.
