Chapter 10: The Ride

It was a long week the girls were looking around for the guys and found them up in the student parking lot. Tools all over two parking spaces combined. "What are you guys doing?" Callie asked as they each came up to the guys. "Hey babe. We're just making sure we got all our fluids and everything is all good to go tomorrow when I go meet your dad." Joel said standing half way to kiss Rylie's cheek making her blush. "Yup just a little tune up. We're done though don't worry we was just cleaning up." Gio said smiling at them. "Not one of you is dirty or greasy, I'd be covered." Lexi said looking at all the stuff. "Welp sweetness we had a lot of practice. So who's name got pulled for tonight?" Dean asked happily. "Callie." Maddison said happily. "So what's on the agenda Cals?" Gio asked hugging her into his side.

"Well there's a place that popped up downtown and it's only here for the weekend how would you guys feel about going to an escape room?" Callie asked. "Are we getting food before we go?" Ethan asked. "Pizza." Callie said pointing across the street. "Well I think it sounds fun, never done it before." Joel said as everyone else agreed. "Well come on than I think we can all walk there it's like what fifteen minutes?" Dean said grabbing Lexi's hand. It was seven in the morning when Dean came knocking on their dorm room door, to ask if Lexi had a cup of sugar to spare and to be his girlfriend. So either way he'd have something sweet. It made them laugh for hours after she happily agreed. Now the guys were just waiting for Vince and Gio to move their feet. Ethan wasted no time on Maddie when they were asked for dinner what they wanted for desert he flat out said I'd like you to be my girlfriend but I'll take the cheesecake as a back up in case you say no." He said as the waiter tried to laugh quietly realizing he was serious both men waited for Maddie's answer. She stared at him before she ordered the one cheesecake to share with her boyfriend making them both smile to each other and nod.

When they finally got to the escape room that was a make shift place with five rooms to choose from, and a huge waiting area. There was a ten people limit seeing as the rooms were so big. "Perfect timing they said the times almost up in the rooms another five minutes or so and we will be called. We got a room that supposedly a scientist went nuts in and made a deadly bomb like thing and unless we find the code and the key to get out of the room the bomb like thing will go off and destroy us and the world or something like that I wasn't really listening." Callie said making them all laugh. "Aria!" "Hey Gio, didn't know you were going to be here. Who's your friends?" Leon asked looking at Rylie as Dylan and Leon came up to the group.

"These are my friends. Yeah we looking for something fun to do. Didn't think you guys would be here." Gio said trying to hide agitation in his voice. Yeah a couple of guys from the team girlfriends dragged us along. They annoying as hell Gio you dodged a bullet." Dylan said smiling at Aria. "How you been Aria?" I've been good, how bout you Dyls?" She smiled back. "Leon, Dylan they are calling our group." A girl came smiling brightly at him as she glared down to Aria. "Hey you want to join our group we only got about eight people if you into a zombie apocalypse theme thing." Dylan asked her happily. "No thanks, I'm going to stick with my friends. Have fun though." She said waving him off. "You sure?" "It's for the best any way our room is a little tight and our group is big enough." The little blonde added with a fake smile and a lot of attitude no one missed. "Well you know Leon and I can always hang back than. Seems like the space in their with you and that attitude is fine on your own." Dylan snapped back. "I hate rude tricks man." Leon said in front of her looking down at Aria. "We sorry about her, she's the quarter backs girlfriend best friend. She mean as hell though. You guys have a good night we got a team mate to talk too." Dylan said waving off the group and apologizing again.

"Well he aint wrong that Melissa is a first class bitch. She's perfect for Hailey she a bitch too just not to the quarter back. First time at practice I had to meet her she kept trying to use me as the water boy. Girl is a trip." Gio said shaking his head. "Well if they give you anymore problems you come straight to us, we got you boo." Callie said kissing his cheek, making him blush. "Seems like some of your team mates need to keep their eyes to themselves." Dean said in a low growl. "I agree." Rylie said. "What are you looking at? BOO!" She hollered to Leon who couldn't stop starring than turned away quickly embarrassed. Making her friends laugh hard and Joel smile leaned down to kiss her. "That's my girl." He growled lowly to her making her whole body turn red. He loved the effect he had on her, he just couldn't understand how he got so lucky to be with someone so out going and amazing as her.

"What if I get scared?" Aria asked quietly. "Than you just come into me." Vince said hugging her to his side as they made their way into the room. Although the room was filled with clues and details, they actually got out of the room in ten minutes thanks to the codes needing a minute or two to click out. They were walking away when Dylan and some of the other guys were yelling at some of the other girls for not being able to figure some things out, and walking away mad. "Wow tough night for the popular girls." Maddie said. "Well I don't get why the guys are mad I mean they know what classes they are taking and how some of the clues are not for everyone." Aria said like she was offended for them. "Hey I'm the dumbest basic bitch of all of you here and I even I got them clues and I still have to sound WED-NES-DAY to spell Wednesday." Rylie said making everyone laugh with her.

The girls came up Saturday morning to say good bye to the guys. Aria made sure to give them instructions to her house. They were all meeting there. "Alright are you sure you guys want to do this our dads can be a little much." Lexi asked looking at all of them. "It's ok I'm sure we can all win them over by the end of the nigh tor slowly over time." Ethan said kissing Maddison goodbye. "Well all of us except maybe Dean you brought the gum right?" Gio asked making everyone laugh. "Hey now he's going to love. Right honey?" Dean asked Lexi. "I'm going ot miss you so much." She faked cried, making the laughter rise up. "See you this evening." Vince said kissing her sweetly. "Drive safe." They all yelled to them as they took off.

"We're going to sleep." Callie and Maddie said walking off to their rooms. "We're going to work." Lexi, and Rylie waved off. Guess I'll just walk around than, better start off with caffeine she thought to herself. After ordering to the cashier she saw a twenty come down in front of her. "Make that two and please keep the change." She heard him say to turn to look at him. "You don't have to do that." Aria said looking at Dylan. "I know but I want to it's what friends do right? What are you doing wondering around so early?" He asked with a smirk. "Well the guys are going out for a ride with some of our family half the girls had to work, the others wanted to sleep, I wanted neither." She said opening her hands to gesture the coffee place. "Two blended mochas." They heard out. "That's us." He said walking over and handing it to her.

"Well why do you come with me than if you free." He stated as he held the door open and followed her out. "Where are you going." "Well I actually really like art, so there's like three places downtown ha has a gallery and it changes every so often so I was going to spend today going to al three and of course none of the other jocks will go with me." He shrugged. "What about your female fan club I figured they would be jumping at the chance to spend the day alone with you." She said smiling a him knowing he hated to be teased. "Yeah that was just mean. Those females wouldn't be able to appreciate what they would be looking at and would probably whin the whole time about wanting to leave. I can't stand girls like that, like last night after Melissa was so rude to you. The whole rest of her herd were rude he rest of the time I don't get it. I mean none of the guys wanted them four there any way I guess maybe we offended them but when we apologized it was hard because I guess we were using too big of words to understand or something. Would you like to come with me?" Dylan asked hopeful.

"What makes you think I would be able to appreciate the work in front of me?" She teased. "You are more than what you let on, your more than some fake face behind a wall of make up. You are more than clothes you wear, a car you drive, you are real. You see the world around you deeper than the common basic girl. I know you'll love it if you just take the chance out with me today, I swear you'll have an great time and be glad you did. Only thing is you got silent your phone when we actually get into those places and only in there." He raised his hands up in surrender. "You know what Dylan I love art I'm in. Let's go." She said walking next to him. "For reals. Like seriously, you going to spend the day with me?" Dylan asked suspiciously. "Yup it sounds like fun time. Which way?" She asked happily. "Alright well turn around it's back here.

Getting off the bikes as they saw a bunch of them pulled up in the drive way and front of the house. "Man we gonna die today." Dean said with a shiver. "Maybe, maybe not let's find out." Vincent said as he knocked on the door. "Vince good to see you, hey boys come on in, got some people who can't wait to meet you." Killian said with that evil smile. All the men gathered in the living room as the five young men stood in front of all of them. "Well boys you remember my friends Hunter, Ryder, Eli, Nate, and Zain there. Let me introduce you to the other four men. This is Drevon Witon or Dre' that's Rylie's dad. That's Lucus Newman Alexia's dad. That over there is Victor Phillips Maddie's dad. Last but not least we got Roman Turner Callies dad." They all went up to shake all there hands.

"Now boys I want you to introduce yourself and also say the name of the girlfriend you think you have or are trying o have to save us some time and honesty here. They know about you guys are studying for and the background about you, that you shared with us so all that stuff won't be a difficult issue later. We don' wan you to be any more nervous and anxious than you probably already are with all the anxiety. So just take a breath tell us your name and which young woman you stepping up to us for." Dre' said in the most loving fatherly voice he could use. "We swear to take it easy for the most on you we just want to get to know you a bit better." Lucus added. The guys all shook their head all the guys stared at Vincent. "You guys suck so hard." He said shaking his head at them making the grown men roar with laughter.

"I'm Vincent and I am besties with Aria for now." Killian nodded at him. "I am Joel and I am Rylie's boyfriend." He waved. "I'm Ethan and I'm Maddie boyfriend." His draw made everyone giggle but Ethan doesn't mind he was a good old soul. "I'm Giovanni, but please Gio and I am friends with Callie for just a little bit longer I plan to change that very soon if she'll let me." Roman just nodded. "I'm Dean and I'm Lexi's man." He waved like a little kid getting picked up from school. Lucus looked around and all the grown men knew he was going to be a handful. "You sure you're no here for Rylie?" Lucus asked him casually. "NOPE! The boys here for you bro step back." Dre' said making everyone laugh harder. "Look we got extra stuff set up for you guys so you don't need to worry about equipment or anything, do you guys need to fill up before we head out or use the bathroom?" Zain told them

"No we hit all that up before we got here sir." Ethan said. "Call us by our names we aint that damn old." Victor spoke out. "Speak for yourself there father time." Hunter hollered back the boys were trying not laugh to hard. "Damn kids you got nice bikes." Eli said appreciating them. The rest of the guys made a low whistle. How long you boys been driving. "We all got a license about fifteen so about two years." Joel said. "I know we young and you may not be comfortable with us too much but would it be alright if maybe sometime we took your daughters on a ride with us?" Ethan asked as he put on his helmet. "It's just we would like to pick them up some helmets on the way in if that's ok?" Vince said added. "Well see how well you boys can ride today and let you know." Killian said in a tone that left no room for argument.

It wasn't that hot luckily as they spent the day teaching the boys how to fish Dean was so caught up in playing with the worms he had to go out and grab the pole twice for flinging it in the river. Each dad and an Uncle stayed with each boy showing them what they could and each uncle would switch off. "So Vince are you ready for classes to start Monday?" Killian asked. "Yeah, Aria got placed in al my classes again so at least there's a friendly face, some of the guys here are in a couple so maybe it wont be so bad." Vince said with a slight smile. "How are guys and Aria doing in the groups of people?" "Well I got to be honest she is just blossoming. She is letting herself out of her comfort zone and even if she is anxious she does not let it show. I'm very proud of her. Everyday I wish I could be a little more like her she's fearlessly strong even if she doesn't noticed it yet. Ethan, Joel, and hell even Dean have manned up and are with their girls. Gio and I well it's just taking us a second longer." Vince said nervously.

"Is there a specific reason?" Killian asked wondering what's wrong with the boy. "The last two months I have made ten friends and finally grew to have a crush on a great girl. This is the first time I ever like someone before who is similar to me in ways I wish no one was similar too. I just am scared to fuck it up and lose her. To be perfectly honest. I'm so used to no one knowing exist or wanted, than I trip in a library and it's like everything I've missing and needing is looking down at me helping me up. Now I got friends who care and call to make sure I'm ok. I'm taking better care of myself, my days are going by fast because I'm around her, and it doesn't feel like the start or end without her. In the last two months sir I swear we talk and text a good eight to ten hours straight if we were to add it up. I also know how special you are to her and I would really like us to get along before anything more happens between us like relationship status wise. I am so out of my element I'm not even sure I know what I'm doing." Vince said shaking his head down moving his foot on the ground.

"You are just a very open honest person aint you. You can kind of tell you don't speak to people to much as much as you let out. You been holding some things back for awhile now haven't yeah." Ryder said popping out of no where to stand next o him and Killian. "Look Vinny, you aint got to worry about trying to impress anybody, or worry if you pushing to hard. Just stay the way you are like this open and honest, and Aria will love you for it. Hell I think I talked to you over half the two months you guys been chilling out together, so I know enough to say I do like you Vince as much as any father can like a teenage boy who wants to be with his daughter. You're a good person Vincent you just got to learn to let the people who want what's good for you into your life, and weed out any extras. If you want to be with Aria I give you consent although you never needed it, you just need hers. Also If you guys need anything you just call were right here." Vincent smiled deeply. "Thank you Killian that means a lot. We weren't nervous to come meet you dads today you know, we were actually just excited to be able to come out here with a bunch of guys and learn new things most guys already know how to do." He said looking at Ryder and Killian who were smiling at him. "Yeah man we already figured that out."

"DEAN CATCH." They heard Gio say as he threw a pack at him. "What's this for?" Dean asked curiously. "You need to put something in your mouth man." Gio hollered back making people around them smirk. Vincent took a deep breath after putting his phone away. "How's everything going with that jock tool?" Killian asked with a smirk. "Dylan? He can be a real prick. He is relentless, and cocky. I guess, when you have the brains, the look, and the talent though it's easy to get away with. He wormed his way into becoming Aria's friend, and I don't think it would bug me as bad if I knew deep down that's all he wanted from her, but it's not. She texted me awhile ago she's spending the day with him going to a few art galleries. Is it bad I feel jealous and mad?" "No, it's fine. I know how it feels we've been there to want to protect what you feel is yours. Your not mad at her your mad at him. I bet he's already tried to step up to you too right how'd that go?" Killian asked him.

"Well until she tells him she don't want him, she's fair game wouldn't matter if we were official or not he would still do what he felt he has to until she says she don't want him. That's what he said anyway. I can't do too much because you know right now she's not actually mine. We just have an understanding going on and I trust her with that." "What understanding do you have?" Hunter asked pulling up behind them. "Let me guess your unofficial official Right?" Killian asked. "Yup, it made sense to us as we can ease our anxiety into adjusting slowly to the switch before it happens. So were more both mentally and emotionally prepared for it." "Well Vinny I think that is smart and I thank you for putting so much thought into my baby girls all round well being not many men your age even think about things like that." Killian said feeling proud of him. "Not many men my age go through what we have to have the knowledge to think like that and everyday we should pray they don't have to." Vince said as recasted his line. "Well now son you right about that." Killian said as Ryder and Hunter nodded with a sad smile.

"Did you guys ever have a problem like this? Vince asked as the guys started to come together putting the stuff away. Sitting around on the logs. "Man, I still am going through that." Killian said catching all five boys attention. "No offense man but if you struggling there's no hope for the rest of us." Dean said with his eyes wide open. "DEAN." Ethan growled out. "Gum?" Dean asked turning his head like a confused puppy. With his four friends shaking their heads looking anywhere but him. "Man." He mumbled pulling a piece out. "I only been with two women ever Aria's trippy ass mom, and Tris. Tris has a what we would call psycho ex. Now he wasn't all psycho at first, oh no that boy lost his damn mind when he figured out she was gone from him for good. " Killian shook his head.

"See he man went through a phase everyone goes through he felt like he was in a rut and thought hey maybe if I took a different job opportunity things would be better he was relocating and would have to leave the home he and Tris were renting out. HE thought she would want to just up and go to without even talking to her first he took the place and the job. When she said she didn't want to go he left her said he need to find the better things than I guess what they were doing. It took him all but a week to realize how wrong he was. She couldn't afford the rent on her own she left switched jobs to another doctor for a little bit than came to work for me, to help with Aria and the house. Well his ass popped back up one night we was all out and he just snapped once she said she wasn't taking him back she was living with me at the time not for too long. HE grabbed her hard and she ended up scrapping her hands and knees on the ground. Caught everyone off guard even his two friends." Killian took a deep breath as the rest of the guys stood up a little straighter on their seat.

"She claims he's never laid hands on her before you can tell by how scared and nervous she got. Few weeks later she was waiting for me to go to lunch I was late because I was picking up the engagement ring Aria and I picked out. He found her tried to get her to be with him again he snapped again. Started to shake her after backing her into a side of the building brick wall shook so hard she was hitting her head in the damn thing making her bleed. So I had to come whip his ass for a second time I didn't know she was hurt until a couple of cops came friends of ours, and called paramedics for her. She's fine now. She's forgiven him but she's still afraid of him even if she doesn't let it show. So you coming to the wrong person for advice kid. Hell I almost went to jail and I'd do it again to protect my woman. Your woman should always feel like the you are the first person they run to. Well besides us." Killian said pointing his fingers to all the boys who just nodded in agreement.

"So do you think I should be a little worried about her spending the day with Dylan?" Vince asked him. "You said they went to art galleries?" Nate asked? "Yeah." "Chill boy she probably forgot he was even there she gets so caught up in her own little world when she gets to those places. You better put a bell on her or something." Zain said making them all laugh and agree. "That jock can kick rocks Aria won't take him out of the friend zone for anything. Not her type man. Some bad memories connected there, she won't hold it against him. I just don't see it." Ryder said shrugging his hands up. "Well boys you got the council of men's approval. I expect you to be their dates at my wedding in about a month and a half or so." Killian said pointing to them. "This was really fun we had a great time thank you for having us out here." Gio said smiling deeply with the guys.

"Tell you what how about you guys come down with the girls when they get here in two weekends we can all go do something together?" Dre' said scratching the back of his head. The boys just smiled deeply. "That sounds great." Ethan said happily. "So about taking the girls on the bikes?" Joel asked looking at Lexi's dad. "As long as you guys drive safe and don't scare them yes you can." Victor said looking for agreement at the others who just nodded. On the drive back the boys followed the guys in the long line to go back home. When Ryder and Roman had to pull over for problem with their bikes. "Oh shit, one of you go back and get my tools, will wait here for a spill you kids go ahead and head back to school." Killian said looking deeper at Ryders bike.

"No need for all that." Vincent said as the boys all pulled out whatever tools they had on them and immediately just started to fix the bikes themselves. "Why you got all this with you, you aint scared for it to walk off?" Eli asked. "Well we lock it good in the saddle bags, but we normally always have stuff like this because well you know we never had anyone to call on for help, so you know when things like this happens we just have to learn to do it ourselves there is no other options. What we got is whatever is on our backs, and bikes. If things like this happen there is no help for us." Vince said as the rest of the guys nodded looking down. "Well y'all can call us." Roman said feeling proud his girls found strong men. "That means a lot thank you." Gio said as he finished fixing the bike. "Let's roll on boys." Hunter said happily as they boys waved off as they drove past Killian's house and they rode on to school.

"I don't know where them girls found them boys at, but I am proud they found an actual man in a boy s body." Lucus said. "I know it's early but I want the damn redneck to stay with my Maddie until I die." Victor said smiling happily. "Let's just hope life loosens up on them poor kids. I mean hell my heart broke for baby girl when she went through this. Them boys got beat by than just bullies form school, they beat form home and they still humble and smart." Eli said sadly. "Man that's because being smart was their only way out. They almost as big as us. Damn man someone gotta help them kids." Zain said rubbing his hands down his face. "Don't worry. We will." Killian said looking down the road where they drove off. Who's hungry he asked as they all went inside to enjoy whatever feast Ellie and Tris had set up for them.

"I had so much fun today. Thanks for coming with me I was really bumming hard about being alone today. I'm glad I bumped into you this morning." Dylan said happily. "Thanks for including me I had a really good time." Aria said happily looking down to her phone. "I got to go but thanks for today send me one of the selfies they came out cute today." She said laughing at him. "Cute hell girl we looked better than any art on them walls." He said as he pretended to brush his non existent long hair away. "ARI!" Vince yelled across the way smiling big at her. "VINNY!" Aria yelled happily running away from Dylan. "See ya later Dyls." She ran and jumped up on Vincent, who happily caught wrapping her legs around his waist and latching on to him. "I missed you so much today." She mumbled into his neck breathing him in. "I missed you too. We had a blast though." Vincent said to her as he pulled her up look at him.

"Did you have fun with Dylan?" He asked looking down at her. "The art was so amazing, the sculptures were so detailed in an amazing outlook. I can't wait for you to see them later, hopefully." She said so excitedly. He just leaned down and kissed her softly, sometimes she was just too cute for him. "You want o head down to the student center or go get tacos?" He asked looking down at her. "Tacos, duh that's like asking if you want to breath in air or water?" She said as he put her down. Talking happily about their day to each other. Talkng and laughing for hours until he walked her back only to keep texting her as he and Dean watched scary movies while texting Lexi, and Aria. It was now Monday and once again they had classes Monday through Thursday. Oddly enough Dylan was in a few of her classes as well as all the guys, Vince was in all of them. The guys decided to just keep going to the weight room after lunch. Than study after.

"The first class Aria sat down waiting for Vincent, Joel and Ethan to get in the class as she saved all three seats next to her. "You're Aria right?" Hailey asked with Melissa next to her. "Yeah?" Aria asked looking up to answer and than back down to her notebook. "You hang around Dylan right?" Melissa asked with attitude. "Once in awhile, sure." Aria said still drawing in her notebook. "Um it's rude not look up when someone is speaking to you." Melissa growled out. "It's also rude to talk to someone who clearly has nothing to say to you. So either get to the point or leave. I bet this isn't even your class." Aria said with an annoyed sigh. Making the girls scoff in shock. "Just stay away from Dylan, he seems to think you like him, and he needs to focus on the game this Friday not trying to impress so fugly ass nerd." "Melissa!" Hailey snapped at her. "I'm sorry about her outburst. You see." Hailey started. "I'm going ot stop you both right there Helen." Aria said holding up her hand. "It's Hailey.' She snipped. "That's nice. Look if you have a problem with your boyfriends talking to me or being my friend than you need to take it up with them. I couldn't care less. I am not going after your man Malinda, he's all yours but you won't hold on to him too long when you act like a raging jealous bitch this isn't high school anymore if you have trouble with your man, that's your problem to fix it. He aint my man now leave me alone I'm already bored with your little shit show." Aria said point the way to the door.

The two girls looked at each other feeling embarrassed as other students were laughing at them. "What the fuck is wrong with you two?" Dylan asked with Leon and Trent by his side looking shocked and disgusted. "You guys and he bitch squad can't come up to our friends snapping at hem for stupid shit. Aria I'm so sorry. Why the hell are you two even in here?" Dylan snapped to them. "Yeah isn't how to bleach your mustache class down the quad?" Leon asked making everyone laugh harder. "Naw man basic bitches 101 is through the theater room since they thrive so much on petty ass drama. Grow the fuck up." Trent added shaking his head. The two girls left in a huff. "I told you she wanted to be all up on your jock bro." Leon said lowly to Dylan. "Bitch crazy as hell." Dylan mumbled back to him.

"So sorry for that stupidness. I swear I aint with her or anything I can't stand her as a person. She always around us though." Dylan said running his hands down his face. "Awe did you save us seats sweetness." Trent asked in playful voice. "Sorry honey buns those are ours." Ethan answered back quickly. As Joel took one seat next to Aria and Vince took the other leaning in to kiss her cheek. "Thanks for saving them for us, beautiful." He added. Ethan took the seat next to Vincent. Dylan and the other two went up a row and to the side so Dylan can still see Aria. "Dude it's creepy as fuck the way he stares for so long." Ethan said lowly to Vince, even Joel was moving in his seat getting uncomfortable. Aria never noticed always glued on to whatever the teacher was saying.

The next class was with Gio, Dean, Vincent, Aria, Trent, Leon and Dylan who again stayed where he could see her. The last class for Aria was with Gio, Joel, Vincent, Leon, Dylan and the quarter back Lorenzo who came up to apologize him self for Hailey behavior. "You need to keep a better muzzle on your girl Enzo, I don't appreciate it." Gio said which shocked a bunch of members on the team since he didn't talk that much or ever say anything negative to anyone ever. "Neither do I." Dylan growled to him. "Us either some other players said. "Aria is a good egg and didn't deserve that." James added as he did a head nod hello to Vincent who returned the gesture. "Don't worry guys I'll tell the bitch squad to calm their tits or were over." Lorenzo said as he apologized again.

"I'm confused who's the bitch squad?" Aria asked Gio. "The damn cheerleaders, they annoying as hell think they run the places, they need to chill people are starting to avoid them to he point where even the sorority houses are about to boot hem out of the house, because they are causing problems at the mixers, with people they don't seem worthy enough to mix with them. Also their GPA is already dropping and it's only second semester, first for those who didn't take the summer classes." Gio finished letting Aria shake her head. "Their name is well earned than." She mumbled making the Joel laugh slash cough turning a little red. "Only you Jones I swear. "So we all meeting at lunch before weight room to see who picks this Friday?" Vincent asked looking at them. They all just nodded as he teacher came in.

"Ok here we go who's pulling the name as Rylie took Ethans hat and put the names in. "I'll pick Callie said." Grabbing randomly a name from the hat. "Ethan." She said happily. Everyone smirked. "Cool, honestly there's this new horror movie out and I'm itching to go see it so dinner and a movie. As cheesy as it sounds, also laid back before Gio's game Saturday." Ethan said as the guys all pated him on the shoulder. Making him blush. "Would you wear this Saturday?" Gio gave Callie the practice Jersey. "What's this?" Callie asked smiling at him. "The coach said we can have a special lady to wear our practice jerseys at the games. There is no lady more special than you Callie to me." Gio said blushing looking down at her. "Giovanni that's the sweetest thing I ever heard. I'm honored to wear it." She said giving him a good kiss.

The guys walked the girls to the Library seeing as the weight room was just a five minute walk from there. "So Gio smooth." Dean smirked after they changed. "Y'all going to start saying shit now aren't you?" Gio said scratching the back of his head. "Yeah, acuall I'm proud of you man that was a big step." Joel said patting him on the back. "Yeah dude, you nailed it. You made her whole damn month man." Vince said giving him a fist bump. "SO your not going to ride on me?" Gio asked. "Not for this man, we of all people know how hard it is when it comes to them females man." Dean said shaking his head back and forth as he started to spot for Ethan. Vince and Joel were using a machine where you put the weights on the side and squeeze them together. Most guys were starting to keep their distance from the small group as hey were starting to out lift almost every guy in there. Even most of the older guys.

It took a few minutes for Trent, Leon, and Dylan to come up to Gio who was on a leg machine next to Vince. "So Gio you ever decide if you coming to the party after the game?" Leon asked him wiping the sweat form his forehead. "Naw man I'm going to pass I don't care to much from them kid of parties besides I got some other plans lined up with my friends." Gio said stopping to take a water break. "Oh for real, what you got going on maybe we can meet up later?" Trent asked smiling at him. "I doubt it would be really your guys speed man. We aint nothing like Hailey and them." Gio said wiping his hands on his shorts to start lifting a bar and doing squats. "Well that's perfect man I'm looking for a good change." Dylan said as the guys came closer to him. "You sure about that, because it seems to me you just trying to meet up with Aria?" Gio asked raising his eyebrow. "Hey aint nothing wrong in that we are friends I know she is a special girl who takes things at a slower pace and I admire her for that. What's wrong with wanting to hang out with friends?" Dylan asked with a smug voice.

"You know damn well you trying to do man. I don't like. Aria is my friend and she is never going to look at you the same way she looks at someone else, you know what I'm talking about so as your friend who knows her pretty well by now. You should really just move on man." Gio said coming next to Vince standing next to the other guys who gathered around him to. Vince and Dylan stared at each other hard for a minute until Vincent held out his hand. "What's that supposed to be?" Dylan asked him. "I was trying to take your hand to walk you back to the friend zone where you belong man." Vincent said making half the gym go in up roar of laughter.

"You know I am glad you guys had such a nice ride this weekend. You should really go out as much as you can. Aria and I had a great time. Maybe I should of tagged you in the pictures we took all over the city. Some of them really fucking cute man. Hate for you to miss it, while you guys were out playing with each other." He said making his friends and some team mates smirk and chuckle. "We weren't playing with each other the girls dad got excited to find out we ride, so they planned out a trip for us to go ride with them and go fishing where they were happy to let us start dating their daughters but don't worry Killian said to send you his best wishes Derek." Vincent said as he smirked at him gathering his stuff. "You went with her dad?" Dylan asked shocked at how he could get close to the mountain of the man and yet a guy like him with looks, skill, and brains couldn't even get him to say his first name right.

Dylan knew Aria's dad would have been a big helping stone now he was just feeling mad. How he hell was this nobody getting everything from him he thought to himself. "Yeah, he's a real fun guy and we both know how much he means to Aria. Don't worry I'll send him your regards. When Aria talk to him tonight at Dinner." Vince said as the other guys smirked and walked off. "Don't get to comfortable their Holdmen your going to fuck up eventually." Dylan said with confidence. "Whatever you say Derek." He hollered back as the gym started laughing hard and they went to change.

"Did you girls bring it?" Dean asked practically bouncing on his feet. "We sure did. Just like you asked." The said giving them the signs as the four guys looked to each other and smiled. They found their way to their seats in a section not a lot of people were sitting yet still close enough to talk out to Giovanni. Once everything was settled when the game started he was walking back and forth in the side lines before warming up and running drills. He smiled brightly as he saw Callie rocking his Jersey hard as the girls and her painted up their face in support of him even painted 23 on their too. Than his face dropped as the team mates laughed hard reading the sign the guys were holding up proudly. Vince held up '#23 show us your boobs.' Dean held up '#23 tackle me baby'. Joel was rocking back and forth #23 have my baby.' Ethan was waving at him with '#23 come kick it with me daddy.' Shaking his head back and forth the guys held the signs strong and proud every time he looked all the men even Dylan and his friends were laughing. At the end of the game and they won, The guys were whistling so hard at him that he flashed him and they went all fan girling for him making the girls need to sit down from laughter.

"Aria!" Dylan shouted as he ran over to her gesturing for her to come closer. "Good game tonight, stud." She teased him as he was also getting cat called but mainly by the girls screaming for him they were looking at him with their seductive eyes even now as he spoke, making him blush. "Don't start with all that noise." Dylan teased. "Thanks for coming out you guys I loved the signs that was awesome. Look I know Gio said you guys had other plans but you know if you guys were up for it I just wanted to let you know there's a party later if you were down to go. Just in case your plans fell through. I mean I know I'd love to see you there." Dylan said scratching the back of his head.

"Well, that's super sweet and I appreciate the thought but honestly parties like that aren't my thing and I'm still coming around to being in large crowds. Thank you though really. We are going to head out now. Have a great time though you deserve it you played great. I'm proud of you Dyl, you played like a rock star." She said waving to him happily as she walked back to Vince grabbing around his waist walking out with her friends who were hugging all over Gio. "So big man where we eating?" Ethan asked throwing a toothpick at him. "PIZZA!" Gio, Rylie, and Dean yelled at the same time making them laugh harder. "You got magic legs man." Joel said laughing at him but mainly impressed at well he played today. "Thanks man, honestly though. I'm thinking of quitting." Gio said looking to see if the other team mates were listening.

"Why you were great." Maddie asked curiously as they all walked on. "I'm only the team because my parents pushed for me to be so they have something to brag about. I just want to focus on my studies, not kill myself with the studies, and practice, and working." Gio said shaking his head. "Where you work man?" Dean questioned him opening the pizza door. "I do free lance repair work on peoples bikes or cars. It makes good spending money. I don't take crap from my parents, I'll be damned if I owe them anything. Do you think I could get your dad's number and talk to him about it?" Gio said looking at the menu putting his hands around Callie's waist asking what she felt like. "Babe, if you that unhappy quit." She told him not catching the nick name she called him, which left him with his jaw hanging opened. Gio couldn't believe the name that came out of her mouth and how good it felt to hear it. "Callie, be my girlfriend." He said loud enough for her to hear. "I thought I already was?" She said tilting her head with a wink. "So, yes?" He questioned. "Yeah, that's yes babe." She laughed to him making him kiss her deeply.

Dean and the guys looked happily to him, and than turned their heads to Vincent with a smirk and shrug mixed with a nod. Luckily Aria wasn't fazed by any of it. They ate until they were full and waddled back to their dorms. It wasn't until Vincent stopped her before she went in looking up she looked at him waiting for him say something it took a good couple minutes. "Aria, do you want to have dinner tomorrow with me, but like as a date?" Vincent asked looking her in the eyes. "Like a real date?" She asked confused. "Yeah." He nodded. "I'd love that. I apologize now if I become awkward. She said looking down. "Look I know it's a first one for both of us, but I think you really going to like it and it's just us. We already no each other so half the hard part is already out of the way and the build up nerves to is he going to kiss me part." He said as he grabbed her waist and put an arm around her, and a hand cupping her lower jaw. "Well that answer will always be yes." He said as he kissed her deeply. "So really all the stress is already cut in half. Dress in comfortable clothes, preferably comfortable shoes and jeans or pants. I'll text you when I get in the dorm." He winked to her as he walked away feeling like for once the world was on his side.
