Chapter 11: The First Date

Vince was a little concerned after talking to his cousin who was having him work out math on certain things that shouldn't be mixing together. He figured it was part of his research study but something always gave him a bad vibe. Travis seemed to be acting really off for awhile almost as crazy as Jace has been. Travis and his friends have been getting mad that Vince doesn't want to 'come home' in their terms. In reality Vince didn't feel like he had a home, he felt at home in his dorm room with Dean or hanging around his friends, he felt most home when ever Aria was near him and that was the most soul shifting thing for him. He's never thought the difference between a house and a home could be a person. He smiled to himself and started working on gathering things together for later that evening.

"The patient is crashing."" A nurse hollered out in the room. As Jace and his two friends came rushing in the room. As the nurse filled him in on how the patients lung was filling with fluid as the other one was collapsing. Rushing around the room people were trying to grab things but the room was too cluttered with people. Tris came in with a bunch of materials to sanitize the lung filled with fluid and started the procedure to get a tube in there to start draining as Jace was already fixing the lung that acted like it was caving. It was just like old times. They didn't need to say more than each others name to understand what the other person needed about an hour patient was completely stable and steady and both went start to the break room wall side by side and fell to the ground slowly together to catch their breath.

"This damn guy is going to kill us. I mean he's a fifty -fifty shot here, giving all of us a hundred percent chance of going crazy." Jace said running his hands down his face. "Thanks for acting quickly in there. I can't believe half the staff here seriously how are they still licensed when you hesitate so much and get that scared. As much as I know you probably don't want to hear it or believe me when I say this but. I never worry when I come in here and see you running around the place, I know were all in good hands once I see your face. You are great at your job and were all so thankful for it. It was nice like old times." Jace said looking at her realizing how close they were and no one else was present, she must be tired to let her guard down this much.

"Well as flattering as that may sound. I see what your comparing me to on half the staff around her so I'm both flattered and insulted. You are a good doctor Jace always have been. I never doubt your judgement when it comes to the job and patient. It was kind of nice for a moment like muscle memory, or hearing a song on the radio you forgot you knew the lyrics to." She looked at him and noticed the setting around them. "My shift is over, take it easy Jace." She said and left like she couldn't get up fast enough. "Where's the fire? I'm not going to bite you?" He laughed out. "Did I do anything to make you that uncomfortable in the last ten minutes. Honestly it was all just a compliment from on colleague to another." Jace asked looking at her confused. "Well as nice as that was thanks but I really just want to go home. I have a phone call I can't miss my kid is going on her first date and I have to help with special hair tips, and outfits." She said proudly. "Well that is a big deal. I wish her well." He said scratching the back of his head. She only nodded and left the room.

"Tris." Travis said as he strolled out with her to their cars. "You know he is still so sorry for everything. You don't have to always have so many walls up you know. I mean he has gone out of his way to do everything possible for you to be comfortable. How much longer to you punish someone who is already punishing themselves for a mental thing they were never aware of? It's almost just cruel to keep putting this act up. I know your still on the defensive and I am not saying you don't have to be. I know I would. I would also find a way to move on past it. You're a lot of things Tris, but cruel isn't one of them. Maybe you should start to loosen up on the reigns there and maybe we can all move on past it together instead of tiptoeing around it all the time. Otherwise the only people who will suffer is people like those patients who really only live when you preform the way you two did today. That's what we need here, or people can die. If you guys can't do that maybe we need to talk to your bosses office and get someone else sent here. There's only so far we can go to make you comfortable before people lives start to suffer. You're not the only who was hurt by what happened Tris." Travis said misty eyed.

"You're right on a lot of things. I have to wonder though seeing as I don't even work on your guys floor over half the time, how am I being cruel I don't go out of my way to talk to him, but when I do address him I do so in a respectful manner. I do everything you guys order with a smile in front of all patients when I have to work with any of you. I don't even know where all this is coming from. I haven't acted out in any sort of way. I'm not being cruel in any way shape or form. If you see a problem with my performance on the job Dr. Holdmen than maybe you should call my boss and switch me out. I could see how replaceable I am in there when I was the only nurse out twenty who was working on over half of those patients unsupervised. So forgive my poor work ethic I wasn't even aware I had. Trust me it won't happen again Doctor. I won't be back." She said slamming her car door shut. "NO, TRIS WAIT. That's not what I meant." Travis said knocking on her window. "Go to hell Travis." She snapped and drove off.

"HE SAID WHAT?!!" Ellie roared leaving the men who were watching the football game fuming. "So both them boys go out of character today. BABY Ima need me some bail money I am about to go to jail." She roared out. "OK boo, I got you." Ryder yelled as the rest of the men chuckled. "Fuck that twat I don't want you going back there unless they learn to keep they ass in line and apologize to you. Even than I don't want you back." Killian said walking up to her. "I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK! That's not even the main office I work for my boss sends me there because they call begging for filler nurses for being so short handed and he sends me because i'm the fastest and the best. If this turns into a thing I might just walk off and quit for good would that be ok?" Tris asked looking at him. "Hell yes that's ok. You don't need that place if they can't recognize what an amazing worker you are. If you dead set on staying a nurse maybe Ellie and you can do in home health care and make house calls on doctors call in orders." Killian said looking at both of them.

"Maybe you two can just come work for me, you know I need all the help I could get staying organized." He said pulling her in to kiss her deeply. "I'll think about it. If I walk off than I think I am done with that career. Jace and those guys are the modeled people in society I would be black listed probably on so many things only in the medical field though. I'm ok with that too. I have plenty of options." "Yes you do." Killian agreed happily. "Maybe I could be a stay at home mom until school starts." She mumbled making Killian's smile and eyes go wide. "That would be perfect." HE said looking around to their friends. "Get the hell out!" HE hollered at everyone making them all laugh at his gesture as he picked up Tris threw her over his shoulder and went to their room slamming the door, as everyone laughed their way out the door.

After freaking out for awhile, the facetime call with Tris helped calm her down. She had on a cute grey halter top, dark washed jeans cute boots that went to her calves, her hair half up half down with loose curls. Her eyes popped thanks to the eyeliner she wore in a simple way topping the outfit with the wolf necklace neither Vince or she ever took off. It was beautiful and the fact that it was something just between them made it the most valuable thing she thought she owned. "You look incredible." Lexi said smiling at her. "Thanks." "Are you nervous do you know where you're going?" Lexi asked happily. "No, he just said be comfortable." She said with a small stutter. "Just breath Aria you spend time alone with all the time. If it starts to become too much just tell him you can call any of us we will come get you. Remember it's just Vince and we both know he would never let anything happen to you. I mean he is definitely worse with anxiety than any of us. So he understands just let him know ok." Lexi said hugging her and reassuring her.

'I know your right. I'm not really nervous, I'm just excited. I'm ready for this. I want to do this. I'm not half as scared as I thought I would be. I'm just scared because like you said he is worse than me with people and stuff, what if I ruin everything. I really like him so much Lex, I don't want to do anything to lose him before anything even starts." She said sadly. "You won't don't worry you got that boy so wrapped it's crazy. Aria he looks at you like you hung the moon and stars as far as he is concerned you probably did. I am so proud of both of you for coming such a long far way from what both of you had been. Now go have fun." Lexi said as Dean and Vince both knocked on the door holding flowers for both of them. "I come to watch movies with you." Dean said happily coming in the room kissing Lexi handing her the flowers. "Thanks guys they're beautiful." Aria said. "Here let me take care of these and you two go ahead and head out." Lexi said smiling at them both. "Thank you." Vince said looking down at Aria. "You look beautiful are you ready?" He asked. "Yeah are we walking?" She asked grabbing her cell phone wallet. "Not exactly." HE said with a smirk.

"My dad said this was ok?" Aria asked crossed arm looking at the bike with a huge zip up backpack at the end. "Yup he sure did. I even bought you, your own helmet with a special camera inside, and a little thing inside so we can talk to each other also it's blue with something on the side just for you." He said looking down to her blushing. "It was the guys who came up with the names." He said looking down blushing harder. In black beautiful writing next to a white wolf it was written beautifully the word Beauty. Looking at his matching dark blue helmet was a black wolf with the word written Beast. "Well I can understand with me being a book room, and the stories I've heard of you in the weight room. Clever. Almost as cute as your sign for Gio to show you his boobs." She teased making him laugh hard. "I love this. Thank you." "Its only for you keep it with you. I never had anyone on my bike but me before, I don't want no one else but you on it either." He said kissing her cheek helping her on. "Just remember hold on, and lean when I lean. If it becomes too much let me know. I can hear you good with the helmet." He said as he started the bike and drove off to their destination.

She loved it way more than she thought she would. "Where are we?" She asked looking around at an emptied flower field, with some beautiful hanging trees. "I found this place when I moved in, meet you like two weeks later. This is my special spot I would run off to for whatever reason I was running from." He said as he flicked a light switch that had all the battery powered fairy lights come on as the sun had just barely set. Carrying the huge square back pack he put it down only to pull out a blanket and some sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, a small cake for two, few sodas, chips, and grapes, and of course a radio. "You made a picnic in your favorite spot?" She asked with a smile to her face feeling so special. "Seemed fitting to bring my favorite person." He said with a shrug. "Your dad told me you had a special place like this back home you walk to and draw when the world got too much for you too. Guess great mind think alike. It's so easy for people like us to see the true beauty of places like this. There is something I think you'll love." He said holding out his hand she took it happily.

The flower covered field he drug her running to spinning her around in circles. "Just wait he said as they stopped and did it again, only to see the fire flies light up around them and surround the whole section bringing all the beautiful colored flowers around them too life. "This is incredible." She said awe struck by everything. "Let's go feed you, before our stomachs start talking in whale noises." He said poking her belly lightly. "So how's your cousin. I know he's been calling a lot lately. "Yeah I'm thinking of changing my number." Vince joked. "He hung on me earlier because he said some mean things to a good friend and now he and his other friend are arguing for what he said to her. Something about messing up things for him, I don't his crazy friend keeps trying to get with this girl who doesn't want him, at least that's what I get. I'm just trying to stay out of their crazy drama. It's not like I actually see these people you know." He laughed making her smile and nod to. "Well the beauty of being your own legal guardian. She said smiling at him. "Yup hashtag forever alone." He chuckled sadly. "You know damn well you aint alone anymore." She said giggling to him.

They talked and laughed and grew even closer. Dancing in the field to the radio. It was a perfect night to the perfect first date. "You nailed the first date thank you so much for making this so special for us." She said hugging him to her wrapping her arms around his neck his hands wrapped around her waist. Looking into her eyes. "Aria, is it too soon to ask you to be my girlfriend?" He asked in a stutter. Looking at him she wondered that question a lot last few weeks. "It should be, but it's not. I'm not scared or anxious when I am with you. It's almost like you're the thing that helps keep me at peace. Vince I really love spending time with you and the last couple of months have been great. I thought when I met the girls and finally made friends life couldn't get better because I was finally getting the chance to be normal. Than I meet you and it got better. If you are seriously asking me to be your girlfriend than yes I would like that very much. It's just I need to take things at a slowish pace I have no idea what I am doing." She nervously chuckled out looking away, only to have his hand grab her chin to look at him.

"I have no clue what I'm doing. I've never done anything like this. I've never been in a relationship, hell I never even had a real friend until you. I am so out of my element here it's crazy the only thing I know is I want this thing between us. I will do anything to keep you happy Aria. Just, there will be some times where I am going to mess up, or get it wrong. I just ask you to please don't give up on me. There won't be anything we can't talk or work out as long as we stay this open and honest. Ok?" He asked. "Ok." She nodded. "So, this real?" He asked moving a finger between her and him. "Yup." She said popping the p. He smiled down and kissed her deeply, breaking only to come up for air. "I'm not sure I'll ever get use to how incredible that is." He whispered lowly to her. "Me either. Text me when you get in." She said as she turned and open the door.

Vince turned to walk away but returned quickly grabbing her to his side when he heard her shout. "OH MY GOD! Sorry, I'm sorry." She said turning her eyes away. Vince confused looked up only to see Lexi pulling down her shirt, and Dean putting his on. "I'm so sorry Aria." Lexi said face turning flushed. "Come on Dean I think we should head back." Vince said smirking to him letting Aria go. "Sorry babe got to run my daddys here to pick me up I'll text you soon. G'night Aria." Dean said as he waved them both off. "Dude, you have the worst timing." Dean said once they got outside. "Dude you scared the crap out of my girlfriend." Vince said chickling. "OH SHIT FOR REALS? Way to go man. OH THE GUYS WILL BE SO STOKED! I'm so proud of you man I know how difficult that must have been." Dean said happily. Vince was blushing brightly. It felt so surreal and amazing to be in this place in life like a normal person, in a happy moment he didn't believe would ever happen with a real friend who's genuinely happy for and with him, excited to tell other friends just like him who will also be happy for and with him. Vince wasn't sure what he did to finally get this type of blessing after all this time but he was definitely grateful.

Sitting down on his bed texting Aria he took a deep breath. He felt like something was missing going through the contacts he came across the number he wasn't even sure he was looking for but picked it up and called it anyway. "Hello?" The deep voice asked through the other end. "Hey sorry if I'm calling to late." Vince rushed out. "Vince it's nine o'clock on Sunday that aint to bad, is something wrong?" He asked in a worried voice. "No, no nothings wrong everyone's good. I just I wanted to talk to you for a minute if that's alright." Vince asked scratching the back of his head feeling stupid. "Sure, kid what's on your mind?" He asked more relaxed. "I took Aria out on a first date tonight at the place we talked about before. I brought her back about an hour ago. It went really great. I think it was the best thing to do seeing as both of us are so uneasy around other people. We have made good progress though so I think the second date could be more in public eye and not worry about the anxiety." Vincent said proudly.

'Well that's good I'm proud of you both. You guys are surely come along from where she used to, so if you was worse I am definitely proud of you I know it can't be easy. If you need any more little helpful hints let me know." The man said smiling through the phone. "I wanted you to know I bit the bullet and just asked her to you know go steady." He said in shaky voice. "So your telling me your officially dating my daughter?" Killian asked in a curious voice. "Yes sir I am. Honestly I'm in still in shock." Vince said honestly trying to hide the smile in his voice. "Well it had to happen at some point. I'm not exactly thrilled about it, but I am happy if it had to be someone it's with you. Not someone like you, just you Vincent." Killian said honestly the best he could. " I really like you kid, however if you ever hurt my baby they will never find your body."

"Understood sir. My cousin is actually invited to this gala type thing and he has been hounding me to go I was wondering if maybe I could take Aria with me, do you think it would be too much for her?" Vince asked. "Do you mean the gala for the medical fundraiser here in town Saturday evening?" Killian asked. "Yeah are you guys already going?" Vince asked curiously. "Yeah we are. If Aria wants to go than Tris can take her on a girls day or something for a dress after class Tuesday. Tris has taken that day off work, so you better get on the ball and ask her tomorrow. Unless you text back saying no, Tris is will be coming for her about one in the after noon she should be there. "That sounds great I'll ask her first thing in the first class. Thank you Killian talking to you was what I needed tonight thank you. I'll let you go though I know how early you guys get up and all." Vince said turning red. "You can always call us if you need us, just remember that Vince take it easy and take care of my baby girl or I would I'll hurt you. Night." Killian said as he hung up the phone. Vince smiled happily at the phone and went to sleep.

"Thanks for saving us a seat cuteness." Ethan said hugging Aria in a side hug Joel followed through the same. "Anything for you lot." She teased in a British accent. "Hey babe." Vince said kissing the top of her head making her blush and taking the seat beside her. "Oh hey before I forget my cousin is dragging me to a gala this Saturday. I talked to your dad and he and Tris are going for her work. So will go with me as my date? Your parents will be here with us." Vince said casually looking at her for an answer. "When did you talk to my dad?" She asked him raising her eyebrow. "Don't judge me too much, but last night I was super excited that you know we took this step and I just needed to share with someone I just ended up calling him. Tris is going to come down tomorrow she got the day off work and said she'll come down and you two can grab a dress for the shing-ding. So would you like to honor me for an evening? Did I just cross some sort of line?" He asked scratching the back of his head.

"No, you didn't. I like that your this comfortable with my parents. Saturday sounds like a lovely time. It could be like a fun double date. Dressing all fancy for an evening, dancing around, hopefully good food and around some of my favorite people it's sounds like a great night." She said leaning over to give him a quick kiss and a smile. "Thank god I didn't want to make you mad at me. I really didn't want ot go to this things at all, until I talked to your dad and thought of taking you, now I'm looking forward to it. I'll call my cousin and tell him I'll meet him there. Do we need to change at your parents we can take the bike there and back here." He asked. "No need my dad got me a car Uncle Hunter and Ryder dropped it off in my space in the parking lot. He got me a Lincoln Navigator because it could fit at least eight people, should be enough for the girls and I and all our stuff for a weekend home he claims." She said using air quotes for dramatic effect like the girls take too much stuff. Making the guys laugh with her.

"Where's Tris anyone see her? She should have been here by now." Jace said looking at his watch. "You did this didn't you? With your big ass speech about all this mess?" Bryce said looking at him sympathetically. "Welp, Tris is not coming. Her boss said she refuses to come back here and continuing making people uncomfortable in her presence. Apparently her boss said something about how Tris's colleagues here think her boss needs to send someone more professional to do her job that she's so lacking in by some of the other peers here. Her boss than continue to lecture me on how to treat her best employees and not to expect any further help with her nursing staff in the future until Tris receives an apology and she is not willing to hear one at this point in time." Taking a deep breath he looked at his friends and continued.

"However her boss's boss called back and informed me that it's my call because we are such a well known establishment and their involvement boost ups their reputation among other things when they share business with us and if she refuses to come back and we want her here he is willing to let her go to keep in our good graces. So thank you Travis for sending me like a million steps back. I was doing so damn good, she was talking to me and being around me on her own until you done pist her off. We were finally in better place now her boss is informing her this Friday if we call her back and she still refuses to go not only will the boss who told me off be written up, but she will be fired on my best judgement call, even though I'm not the one who pist her off in the first place this time, but I'll be the one who pisses her at the gala this Saturday after her talk with her boss Friday. There's nothing I can do right now to fix it." Jace said holding his head in between his hands."

"What if we call him back and tell him if he does will cut ties with him right now? He's telling you it's up to you threaten him where it hurts." Travis asked telling him simply. "I already told him that man, but do you really think a man like that is going to let something as big as his work place's reputation slide without some form of lecture on how easy it would be to let her go for the good of everyone else or worse? Even if she comes back here do you honestly think things will be better than they already were. I was finally getting some head way in she even had lunch with me and two other nurses laughing like old times. Man I was like at least almost half back in. I'm like dead in the water now she's going to hate me even more I really didn't think it would be possible at this point." Jace said with a few tears coming to his eyes.

"I can't lose her to that guy, and I won't I refuse to give up when I was almost so close. I just have to change up my game plan. Is your cousin coming to the gala?" Jace asked. "Yeah he said he was and he was bringing his new girlfriend." Travis said with an evil smirk. "So he still doesn't know about the whole Aria, Killian, Tris thing?" Bryce asked confused. "Nope He knows all of them he just doesn't know our connection with them. HE has no idea the whole time we've been asking him things of who it was really for. Poor boy is so in the dark. I feel like shit asking him these things. I think he's really starting to fall for her can you imagine what's going to happen when it all comes out, I mean that poor kids been through enough. Maybe I should tell him." Travis said putting his hands in his pockets with a shrug. "If you out us to that kid, he will tell Tris, and that prick, and than our edge is blown. If you fuck this up any more than you already have I swear to god I will kill you and you know exactly what I am capable of." Jace said lowly with an evil gleam in his eye making Travis just nod his head and gulp.

It was now Friday and the group was joking around with Gio on the filed as practice let out. The guys went to talk to James about some other things. While the girls were standing at the edge of the field towards the gate to leave. Gio gathered the rest of his things walking up to them hearing a couple of other people walking behind him. "Hey guys." Gio said looking up at them confused as to why they were following him. "Hey man, we weren't trying to freak you bro, I just wanted to talk to Aria real quick before you guys left to go do your Friday night thing." Dylan said putting his hands up with a laugh. "Alright there she is try to be quick man it's getting late." Gio said with a subtle warning he knew the under meaning of. "For sure man." Dylan said laughing with the other three guys.

"Aria do you mind if I talk to you real quick before you head out I swear I'll be fast I just want to run something through you real quick." Dylan asked tossing his bag higher on his shoulder. "Sure I got a minute to spare anyway the guys are barely walking over here with James anyways." She smiled to him waving at the other people he had with him. "Cool come on." He nodded his head over to the side a little ways back. "Uh sure ok." She followed him looking at him oddly. "So how you holding up in your classes this time around. You know some of those tricks you should me have been working out great I appreciate it." He said as they were still in clear view of others and barely at point where you could hear them. "They are doing great and glad to know I could help, yeah they really work when you in a rush. So what's up Dyls?" She asked with a smile tilting her head to him.

"Coach says to give our practice Jerseys to a special lady on Saturdays to cheer us on in the game, I was hoping you could be my special lady who wears mine." He asked holding it infront of her. "Oh well that's sweet and all but I won't even be here for the game I have a gala I'm going to with my parents and Vince. I appreciate you making me feel special and all I just don't think it would be appropriate I mean aren't girls like girlfriends supposed to wear those or girls who are close to that step with you?" Aria asked looking confused and feeling uncomfortable taking a step or two away from him. Looking back to see Vince eyeing her carefully watching their every move feeling worried seeing how uncomfortable she was feeling close to walk over there and pull her to him.

"Well yes and no. I can't think of any one I want to wear anything I have other than you Aria. It's been so hard to tell you this but if I don't I will forever regret it I mean it's been long enough and you need to hear it before it's just too late." Dylan said looking into her eyes making her confused. "What are you even talking about?" She asked like he was talking crazy. "I like you Aria. I don't want to be just your friend. I am literally crazy for you. It's hard for me to focus in class because I get side track by how incredible you are. I can't keep you out of my mind. I have the best time with you. I feel so free and open with you Aria. I don't feel like that with anyone not my even my best friends or family. I need you around me Aria, you make me feel like I can do anything. You are smart and beautiful just amazing. I want a chance with Aria just one shot that's all I'm asking for because that 's all we'll need for you to know I am right in saying we can be great together." Dylan said grabbing her hand through out his whole speech.

"Dylan I can't do that. I just see you as a good friend that I am still getting to know. I have a boyfriend now and this isn't ok." She said taking her hand back taking a few more steps back making the guys take notice and start walking over to them. The other team mates friends see this and start walking over as well. "BOYFRIEND?! Since when. Is it Vince? Do you really think that boy can keep you happy? I can open so many doors for us it's almost unreal. That boy can't give you nearly what I can. I can do anything better than boy can. What the hell does he have that I don't anyway why can't you just give me a chance. Don't do this to us don't say this is wrong." Dylan starting talking louder voice starting to break.

"Dylan I need you to take a few steps away from me please." She said taking a step a way only for him to keep coming forward. "I can do and be anything you need or want me to be. I can guarantee I can make you feel things he couldn't even dream of he can't make you feel like this." Dylan said yanking her into his arms kissing her hard as she struggled and managed to finally pull away for her to wrap her hand into a fist and lay it hard into his face. "GET OFF ME YOU DAMN PSYCHO!!!" She yelled as she hit him so hard his face turned to the side. Only to have Vince come shove him further away. "She told you to step away from her not violate her you damn prick." Vince yelled as he shoved him again to get away from her coming to her holding her face in his hand. "Are you ok Ari?" Vince asked in a sweet voice only ot get turned around by Dylan.

"You keep ruining fucking everything. You keep popping up when your not wanted, now you think you can just come up and ruin my chance with her. You don't deserve her. Someone like you will never be able to deserve someone like her. Why don't you go back to whatever fucking weird ass hole you came from, and back the fuck off. She doesn't understand what she wants until we can pry you the bad influence off her. She needs a real man and we all know that aint you." Dylan said as he punched Vincent right across the face. Shocking everyone. "You want to call me names fine, you want to step up to me about stupid shit fine, but you don't ever talk shit or ever lay your damn STD infested hands on my woman ever." Vince growled as he hit him in the face so hard Dylan flew to the ground. "You stay the fuck away from her. You scared the hell out of her man. What the hell were you thinking. You aint nothing but a self entitled, selfish, self centered prick. All them damn females chasing after you, you gotta chase the one who don't want you take the hint man. Hell I thought you was supposed to be smart?" Vince roared at him. Turning around to check on Aria.

"I'm ok Vince. Let's just go. Dylan I don't want you to speak to me ever again what you did was over the line. There's no going back from what you did. Shame on you. Vincent please take me home." She said for him to nod at her and take a step to her. Dylan came spun Vince around and started to hit him. "It's all your damn fault you little bitch." He yelled as he sat on top of Vince for two punches before Vince flung him straight up and flipped it to where he was on him than standing him on his feet to keep slugging him blow for blow. Ethan, Joel, Gio, and Dean we're trying to pull the two guys apar only for some members of the team to come up and hit them off Dylan.

"Hey man we just trying to break them up aint no one jumping him. Your man needs to back the fuck off." Ethan roared out. "FUCK OFF YOU DAMN HICK AND TAKE YOU GAY ASS BOYS WITH YOU! One of the line men roared. The guys looked at each other than the man came up and shoved Joel. "OHH we in this now bitch." DEAN Yelled as the four of them started to punch the team, James coming up to block a hit meant for Vince to try to give Dylan an edge who's face was now dripping in blood and bruises as Vincent only had a cut against his check and a small bruise to his stomach. It wasn't until Dylan noticed James and Gio fighting against the team he stopped and stepped back. "You would choose them over your own teammates?" Leon yelled over to them in shock. "You guys really think you have any right to ask an ethical question when you got half a team on five men AND YOU STILL LOSING BRO!" James roared back. "You think I'm going to sit back while you guys jump my friends, over some guy who violated a girl who's like my sister dude? That was sexual harassment Dylan what the fuck are you thinking you going to lose everything and get thrown out of school. You guys all need to just walk away before we all get in trouble." Gio yelled at his team.

The other team mates nodded apologized to the girls and started to walk away. "You a fucking traitor man." Trent yelled back to Enzo and James in disgust. "You a fucking damn ass." James roared back. "You know what I'm done. Fuck you guys take your damn team and shove it. I QUIT BITCH!" Gio said walking straight over to the coach who was walking on the field looking lost as to why everyone was barely going home. "I'm with Giovanni good luck tomorrow without us you fucking faggots, I don't fucking need this stupid shit. I quit shove your fucking team captain. Ladies and dudes I'm so sorry about them." James said pushing past the three assholes in front of them to talk to the coach. The coach nodded looking over to Dylan and the other two guys as James and Gio handed over their jerseys. Gio was walking back shoving past them. "Come at us side ways again, you going to need the other half of your fucking team for what this damn hick will do to you, unless you guy's think you can handle another ass whooping." Ethan told them lowly. Walking away to walk up to the girls. "Stay away from what doesn't belong to you the next time you lay you hands or any other part of your body against her wishes again will be the last time you use that part of your body. I promise you that." Vince said lowly walking away. "Y'all hit like a bitch." Dean said chuckling. Joel just turned and walked away.

Looking up at the girls who were just staring at them, than to each other. "Are any of us still dating, or did we just fuck up?" Vince ask them looking into all of them scratching the back of his head. "DO you honestly think we would dump any of you guys for standing up for not only our little sister but yourselves. It was self defense. We are proud and sorry for you guys." Callie said as the girls all came around to hug them with little tears misting their eyes. "I'm so sorry that happened to you. It's all my fault I told him no, he didn't like that at all. I'm sorry. Please don't give up on me." Aria started rushing out tears falling down her cheeks. Breaking Vincent to watch so he started to wipe them away.

"Do you really think I would stand by and let some damn tool take advantage of you. Let some other dude try to come and hurt what's mine? I'm sorry I didn't come up to you sooner, to prevent all that. I will always want to be with you Aria. You did not kiss him, he kissed you and you fought him. You are not to blame nothing is your fault. You said no and he crossed the line. If he ever comes back at you, you come to me. Not just him when ever you are scared, upset, or worried you always come to me. I will always be here for you I will never let anything happen to you. It's me and you now babe. We got this. I will always hear you out and will never leave you. Come babe let's go before it get's too dark." Vincent said wrapping his arm around her waist. Everyone started walking back

"So what did you want to do tonight Joel?" Maddie asked. "Honestly we set up a for a movie night in Dean and Vincent's dorm room because it's freakishly big we can all fit for a movie night we even got the snacks and food set up. If you girls are still up for it?" Joel asked scratching the side of his neck. "A night of cuddling up to our favorite guys, with some junk food and movies hell yeah." Riley said cuddling into Joel's side making the girls hoot in agreement and the guys laugh. "I know it's not the right time to say this, but watching you five beat half a footballs team ass was hot. You guys are low key bad ass. That was sexy as shit." Rylie said out loud making the guys blush deeply. While the girls were picking the movie Vince took the time to apologize feeling bad looking at some of the small cuts on the guys faces. The team all had busted lips, noses, and big black eyes they only had a few scratches on the cheeks.

"Hey guys, I'm really sorry for dragging you guys into that. That wasn't cool and I'm sorry you guys had to take some punches like that." Vince said looking at them talking softly. "Dude, there's no way in hell we would have left you to get jumped like that. Those pricks had it coming. No ones going to mess with these nerds this year." Joel said looking at him using hands to gesture to all five of them. "Dude this is the first time I really had friends but I think one of the first rules in the bro code here is thou shall not let his homie get sacked." Dean said in a weird accent making them all laugh hard. "Yeah but Gio you walked out on something you actually worked hard for. I'm sorry man." Vince said looking at him. "Man fuck them bitches I wanted to quit anyway I wasn't apart of that because I wanted to be my flakey fake ass parents wanted something to brag about I don't want to be on the damn team while I had work and school. Plus those guys were dicks I only talked to James anyway even he's been wanting to quit. It's cool man. Bros before them hoes." Gio said making the rest of the guys laugh knowing what kind of man whores most of the team was anyway.

The night went great the watched three full movies before everyone passed out on and wrapped up in each other under their own blankets. It was the best night sleep any of them ever had all crumpled on the floors, and or bed, couch. Moving around Vince looked down to see Aria wrapped up in his arms on his bed smiling looking down at her she was so beautiful. She started to move around. "Good morning." He whispered happily. "I'm so sorry for using you as a pillow. I didn't think we'd still be here by now." She said starting to move away only to be pulled back in to the same spot by him with a smirk making her look at him. "You can use me as a pillow anytime you want. We need to get ready to leave soon. Let me get ready and I'll walk you back to get our things. Just remember you can use me anytime, I'll be whatever you need me to be." He said winking at her kissing her quickly before letting her go quietly getting his things not to wake the others. Snapping pictures of the happy couples as he made his way around the room. "You ready for tonight?" He asked happily hanging his suit and her dress on the hanger hook in the back seat of her car. "Yes so ready for a nice romantic night with no drama." She said smiling to him. "Me too." He kissed the back of her hand as he took the keys since she didn't want to drive, neither of them aware of the hell storm they were about to go through coming their way.
