Chp.7: An amazing offer

"The city is looking nice tonight." Said Noah as he was driving the car on the highway.

"I hope to find all the answers, tomorrow morning." He said with a sigh.

"But is Janice really the one to blame for what happened to my mother? I am sure, that old bastard of W&K is the one who plotted everything but was Janice willing to do what she did to my mother? No point in worrying now, what was supposed to happen, happened, but I will seek revenge for what happened to my mother and my family."

He was completely engrossed in his thoughts.

'Revenge.'

A feeling that makes a soul completely drown in the darkness of loneliness.

Noah Robbins was the same. Being the second child, whatever he did never excited his parents much. His elder brother, Daniel Robbins, was smart, athletic, and most of all a complete shadow of their dad. His dad saw the next CEO of the company is only and only Daniel. Thus, their bond never had any space to grow warmer.

Given the circumstances, Noah was always close to his mother. She was of sensitive nature. And often used to get anxious and stress when she saw Noah's father with other women. It later developed into a psychological condition where she used to have severe panic attacks. But only Noah was the only one who could understand her at that time.

Linda Robbins was an influential woman in the field of business. She was herself from a powerful family and taught both Daniel and Noah various strategies right from when they were young, but her most favorite student was Janice.

"Even though Janice was so close to my mother she still took part in her murder, and for that, I will never forgive her." He had an expression of malice.

There were contradicting feelings in Noah's heart but every time the feeling of hatred and revenge took over him. He wanted to say that Janice is innocent but all the proofs and pieces of evidence said otherwise.

And thus after that day's meeting when Janice said that all the truths will come out, he wanted another chance to believe her.

But fate is cruel and kind sometimes.

As he was having an inner conflict, an intense golden light approached him.

And within a moment, his world turned upside down. His car crashed and all the glasses pieces came onto his face.

He got seriously injured and the blood was the proof of it. He wanted to get out of the upside-down car. He could hear people's voices around him. The entire world seemed to have stopped for him.

"He is Noah Robbins. Shit, he is seriously injured." Said one voice.

"The other driver is a lady, she is injured too. We must quickly send to the hospital." Said another voice.

"What is happening? Is it the end of my life? But I want to seek revenge for my mother. I want to make them taste the feeling of being helpless. But I guess this is the end." Mumbled Noah as people carried his body out of the crashed car.

There was a crowd of people on the scene, some knew him as the CEO of the biggest company in the country, and some just considered him as a commoner. But he never wanted to be any of those things, he just wanted to make his feelings known.

The bitterness of revenge didn't come to him yet but he lost what was most precious to him. Life.

He knew he had closed his eyes for a really long time, but the pain he felt subsided with time, and opened his eyes.

"Where the heck am I?" he said as he opened his eyes.

"Welcome, Mr. Robbins." Said a voice who sat on his working desk.

"Who is this man?" Noah thought to himself.

"Um, hello." He said as he found himself lying on the hospital bed with saline and fractures over his entire body.

"Yeah ok. Give me some time and I'll just complete my work." He said as his head was still down in his paperwork.

"Well, who allowed you to bring your work desk to my hospital room? Can you even bring such things to hospitals?" Noah asked him.

" Nope, it isn't allowed. But I am going to make an offer that will tempt you too to shift your worlds." Said the man with an intimidating smirk.
