They indeed became very good friends. Roseanne slowly started to open up to Xander. He also found out that she was indeed an open and free person although she behaved like a strict nobel when she was with her family members.

He also multiple times hinted Roseanne that he wanted or will soon to propose to her, but always she cleverly turned down his hints.

But anyways the six months that Xander lived there he didn't even once felt that he had taken a wrong decision. Roseanne slowly got to know him too and multiple times even helped him in interpretations of the languages of Jidir.

They grew close and thus Xander decided that two weeks before he leaves for Aartals back again, he would propose Roseanne in a formal setting.
